[Nick :: Atlantis :: Outside the Throne Room]
Nick raised a brow at the growing light, then let out a gasp of wonderment as his favorite toy shot into the area and began attacking the seal. His focus shifted away from the pictomancer and on the dragoon's barrage against the seal. Kyle landed, then charged again, the Avatar of Chaos barely getting out a "Hi~" before hitting the seal again and being thrown back next to the girl. Nick tilted his head, then laughed in a frantic, maniacal tone as tightened his grasp on his blade's hilt.
"Ooh~ Mister Kyle, you just seem to be full of surprises! If only you were this entertaining during our first meeting, I would have had so much fun!" He slowly began walking towards the pair, holding the sword at his side. The large blade scraped against the rock, parting the blood as he moved closer. "Alas, though, you still aren't powerful enough to break the seal, let alone prove to be a fun toy to play with! But maybe," He grinned, feeling the sword shift into a hammer once more, "maybe if I break your friends, you'll take me seriously~" He cooed, then began sprinting full force at the pair. He then propelled himself into the air, hammer over his head. He began his descent, yelling as he brought the hammer downwards,
"NOW DIE!!"

[ Kyle ; Ajora ; Alice ; Black Waltz : Atlantis : City Limits ]Kyle blinked, trying to look at the seal--it was still in place. Kyla quickly landed in front of him, blocking his view, and unleashed a powerful blast of her own.
The higher level Birn Strike impacted the seal, and like the previous blasts, seemed to remain stationary, conflicting with the Darkness in the seal. Due to its non-elemental nature, the magicks were not in direct opposition, so the conflict was short-lived; the Birn exploded violently, leaving its mark upon the seal by extending the cracks somewhat.
Kyle groaned, trying to sit up and only managing to lean on his elbows. He looked down to his body--he was bloody. But it wasn't his, he knew that--likely collateral, he could see various blood pools now that he was here. His head was spinning, his eyes refusing to focus well enough to be useful.
Kyla's second strike made an impact and, like the one before, increased the damage, but the seal remained. Not once, between any of their attacks, did it even so much as flicker.
In the distance, he heard the Avatar of Chaos taunt him, causing him to groan. He looked to the armored fiend, his eyes transfixed on the massive blade as he spoke. But there was something in his voice--and he kept moving closer. Then the weapon transformed into a hammer, and Nicholas made his final taunt.
NO!
With a shout, Kyle hastily got to his feet, pushing off of his spear, (his balance still far from normal) and shoved Kyla out of the way of the b*****d's descent--with her wound and focus on the seal, it wasn't likely she could have pulled up a wall in time. As a result, Kyle was now directly under fire. He instinctively threw his arms up above him, crossed in an effort to absorb most of the blow. And absorb they did.
Down to the very bone.
With a sickening crack, the hammer crushed Kyle's arms and slammed him back down to the ground, his eyes wide and mouth open. He gazed up at the armored foe who stood before him before glancing down to his arms--or what had once been them. They both laid upon his chest, crumpled and useless, with the bones broken so badly that they were visibly penetrating the skin of the bottom his arms.
His eyes glossed over in confusion--shock--he couldn't comprehend what was going on. As blood gushed from his the openings in his arms, his face slowly paled, his body began to tremble, and his breath grew shaky.
"... w-what?"Around that time, a Corridor of Darkness opened up directly in front of the seal, letting loose a black-suited Ajora, followed shortly by a hulking, human-sized Black Waltz Heartless. Ajora glanced at what was going on, taking in the 'fight'--Nicholas standing over Kyle, next to Kyla, surrounded by walls, with Alice off to the side, watching in mild interest.
"Oiy, remember the deal," Ajora called out to Nicholas, his tone showing slight irritation, before turning and facing the seal with a small frown. They'd managed to make a sizable crack. Well, that just wouldn't do. Turning to the Waltz, he made a motion to watch his back before placing both hands upon the seal. He'd take advantage of the confusion Nicholas caused to do a little fix-er-up-er.
Darkness began to emit from his arms and pulse into the seal, restoring the cracks at a quickened (but still slow) pace.

[ Kyla: Atlantis: outside throne room]
Kyla saw him coming, hammer in hand. She thought she was ready for him- surely the blades would cut him up something fierce. That’s what they were designed for- but just before she could focus another attack on him instead of the seal- Kyle shoved her aside. She hadn’t expected him to do that so she actually tumbled to one side as Kyle took the brunt of the blow. The result was just horrible.
Why did he do that?! What just happened?! What about her barricade? Didn’t Kyle see the swords- surely they could have at least- or maybe? Maybe not? No- this wasn’t happening. But there it was. With blood gushing from his arms- so much of it. He could bleed to death- the bones, crushed!
Oh God no!!!
“ KYLE!!!!!!!!!” Now ajora was on the scene- fixing the seal after all their hard work! She had to stop him! But Kyle was seriously hurt! She couldn’t let him bleed to death! But what about the heart?! They could all die if Ajora got his hands on it! Dear God WHERE WAS everyone?!!!
Focus Kyla Focus!
‘Tyue!! Take care of Kyle! Hurry!!’
' Right! but don't wander! Stay close to me!'
“b*****d!!!” The girl activated the swords and they assailed the hammer wielding psychopath, cutting and slashing while they encircled him. Meanwhile while Kyla rushed back and grabbing Kyle with her good arm she dragged him back to one side while Carbuncle came out.
Even if it was only a little, using Inked Exchange would take too long, and Kyla needed to sketch Kyle’s injuries which may get interrupted. So Healing Ruby was the only thing they could use, it may not mend the bones entirely but the blood loss was far more dangerous at the present time.
Swallowing an ether Kyla was up and ready, sticking to Kyle’s side like glue so she was close enough for her summon to emerge. With a few deft strokes she added to the onslaught on Nick while flipping to another page. The artist needed to attack Ajora before he fixed the seal! She couldn’t let all of Kyle’s hard work on the door go to nothing! They needed to get inside too and save the Heart!
Hurry! Everyone!! Please hurry!!
This sucked! Everything sucked! Kyle was hurt, they were outnumbered and no way was she a match for them in power or strength. But damnit she would try! She couldn’t let this happen! She couldn't leave him like this- but Ajora- the heart! If things got any worse- To hell with what they might think of her-...
...she'd ask for his help if she had to.
'I could really use a level up right about now.'

[Joe: Atlantis: Flying towards the Throne Room]
THe male was lanched, and as he flew, he used his wind in two ways. One was for speed, reducing air resistance and speeding him up. The other was to give himself spin. He had done this attack before, so he knew what to do.
Spinning like a flying drill bit, Joe flew towards the throne room's entrance the wind roaring as he zoomed through the air. And went towards the only target that he could really make out with his massive amount of spinning, something with a bow or something. He was loud, and kind of obvious, but he was fast and strong. Either way, he was going to hit something, if it wasn't the initial target, than something beyond it would get hit.
((Artemis is the target, unless she, you know, dodges and Joe goes flying past into someone or something else. Regardless, he's going to hit SOMETHING hard XD))

[Daniel: Atlantis:Streets of Atlantis]
Bounding over broken walls and rich overgrowth, Daniel broke into a slow stride through the streets. He glanced back at the throne room entrance whenever it came into view and took in as much as he could.
Above, the incoming assault stole the show; bouncing lights clearing an incredible distance suddenly shot up into the sky, revealing... Ajora?
Are you kidding me? Is that the copy or the 'copied'? Daniel stopped now, behind a pillar. before him was a long bridge to another set of tall buildings. He pondered what the view might be from inside or even atop the highest.
Regardless, its definitely Ultima. Flashy woman.
Daniel watched in awe as Kyle collided with the barrier. The potential power that he alone held seemed gigantic. And yet the dragoon did not break through.
I guess we know which one is stronger..
Kyle attacked the wall again and was flung back, followed by a barrage from the witch. Daniel took note of the difference in style; Kyla seemed to take a much more passive ranged style in comparison to the deadly hand to hand talents she took advantage of earlier. While impressive, the flashy magic seemed far less effective.
A buzzing whirling noise turned Daniel's attention away from the throne room. A second attacker, expending all his energy like the first just to reach the battle. The Turk wasn't sure what to make of these hooligans. Why did they come staggered like this? A combined attack would have been so much more damaging...
Zodiark seemed to agree, though he remained quiet.
The defender's counter was slow. The lunatic swordsman was in no rush and it quickly became apparent which side was in control. And then he raised his weapon and swung.. the dragoon went down taking the full blunt end of a hammer, falling out of view. The Turks were too far away to see the effects, but they were surely felt.
Daniel sighed. "This is bad. They have a lot of fire power.. but anyone can pull a trigger. They aren't thinking at all, it's just going to get them killed."
The high vantage point proved too tempting. Daniel tapped Tseng on the shoulder and pointed to the roof. The battle seemed lost but that didn't mean something couldn't be gained from it.
The Turk was on the move.

[Alice :: Atlantis :: Outside Throne Room]
Alice had found a perch a little ways away from Nick and his rather grotesque obsession with beheading everyone. It was just all too messy.
Cu laughed, loud and hearty, completely interrupting her thoughts. "Oh, that's rich! Beheading is too messy coming from you, you who melts away flesh with a simple touch, AHAHAHahaha..."
The poison esper was still chuckling to himself when Alice became alert. Her auburn eyes narrowed as she steadied her gaze on the distance, scanning the area. Someone was coming. Alice looked down, just in time to see Kyla, stunned by the blood that painted the floors and the heads that decorated her vision. She wrapped herself in a cloak of energy as the fabric to her gloves unwound.
Alice stood, eyebrows raised as Nick once again sunk his teeth into battle. His bloodlust had not yet been quenched despite the blood that drenched the floors. Her face was pensive as she watched in silence while Kyle seemed to crumple as if he were composed of twigs. Humans were so fragile. But even if she had the capability to feel compassion towards his broken body, what could she do? Her touch was one of poison, malice and destruction. Her hands could never heal; and thus she watched on in silence until Ajora’s entrance. Then Alice teleported, vanishing in a puff of toxic smoke; reappearing beside Ajora while looking off into the distance.
”Someone else is coming…” Alice swept her arms out before her, gathering objects from around her and forming them into a massive dragon which flew off in the direction Joe was approaching. The creation was merely meant to intercept the fighter, but from its nostrils spewed poisonous gases with every mighty beat of its wings.

[Nicholas :: Atlantis :: Outside Throne Room]
The swords began cutting into Nick in a rapid pace, and he could only swear at the barrage. He jumped back as far as he could, growling under his breath. The swords continued to follow him only made it worse as he continue to dodge and weave to the best of his ability. That girl needed to get out of the way, but her magic was not making it easy. The Dark Knight dropped his large blade mid dash, cracking his knuckles. Ajora's sudden appearance as well as the large creature with him made his shoulders sag in annoyance as he continued dashing around.
Ajora's disapproving tone rang in his ears, and Nick could only roll his eyes like an angsty teenager being disciplined by his father. "Yeah, yeah, don't get bent out of shape. You said I wasn't allowed to kill him, but I roughed him up a bit, so what? I mean, I had free reign with the others, if only he didn't have such a martyr complex, maybe his arms wouldn't be smashed into so many pieces." he snapped at the Replica. Gritting his teeth, he waved his hand and a corridor appeared next to Ajora, and an exact copy of Nick appeared.
"You didn't think I knew how to do this, huh?" The copy giggled, then ran towards one of the many puddles of darkness and grabbed a large handful. The real Nick began laughing then sprinted full force towards Kyla, aiming to tackle her straight into the wall she had summoned. His copy waited for a few moments before dashing towards Kyla and Kyle, holding the darkness in his hands.

[Joe: Atlantis: Flying towards Throne Room -> Outside Throne Room]
Well, Joe knew SOMETHING was coming at him. And that it was big. But he definitely wasn't going to stop for it. No, not when he could just go through it.
Whether it tried to block him, or eat him, Joe drove through the creature, not caring if it stayed aloft or crumbled to pieces. No, he was too busy worrying about the queasy feeling he was getting from going through all the gas inside of that thing, and the fact that he had lost a lot of momentum from plowing through the dragon.
Joe landed short of his original target of the person with the bow-like object, and immediately landed with a spin, his body moving as a sparkling green wind shot out of his fingers and enveloped him, curing him of the poison that he had sustained from going through the dragon. It left him open, sure, but poison was too deadly to let it linger.

[ Kyle ; Ajora ; Black Waltz : Atlantis : City Limits ]
Kyle was hardly able to focus on anything going on around him. His mind was starting fray wildly, his concentration zeroing out just to keep him conscious. Ultima was speaking--probably chiding his idiocy--but he couldn't even pay attention to that. Reality had slipped away; Kyle was locked in his head now.
Ajora nodded as Alice took control of the reinforcements and merely rolled his eyes as Nicholas barked--barking was a particularly good word for the boy, it seemed. When Nicholas made a clone and tried bragging about it, the Dragoon didn't even bother responding--why did it matter if he did or didn't know? Instead, he continued to repair the seal while he could.
Meanwhile, the shadows underneath Kyla, Carbuncle, and Kyle began to fluctuate oddly, with two violet dots just barely visible in their shade.

[ Kyla: Atlantis: outside throne room]
Things just kept getting worse and worse and worse and worse… And the nut job was coming at her full force with a buddy clone. Great- two of them can do this.
“F** off!!!”
Kyla recalled the swords and they dispersed, reappearing around the two earthlings. It was impossible to tell how far Carbuncle’s healing was going but there was no time to check as Nick and his clone were to collide. She didn’t have enough defense-
“Carbuncle together with me!!”
Kyla backed up and crouched down against Kyle while Carbuncle turned and knew what her partner needed. The tiny creature’s gem lit up and bathed her ally in Ruby Light while Kyla activated Warding Lotus while erecting the Flight of Blades at full force.
Warding Lotus ( Wall +4 to Pr and Mr) + Recalled: Flight of Blades. == Kyla Ruby Light (Protect) + 4 to PR/MR == Kyle
Some else was moving- Kyle? No.. the ground? No, their shadows? WTF?! “Heartless?!” Just what was going on? Kyla’s shoulder felt wet, no doubt he blood was soaking into her clothes by now since she kept moving her arm. Thank God for adrenaline, she lifted her quill with some difficulty but she kept on going. She had to!
But even if her shields held- she was running out of options besides a full out retreat- and they couldn't run- not now. But Kyle...maybe she could send him back?
Ajora was fixing the seal, it would be done any moment now. If her shield held she HAD to attack him again.
'Hey- you still in there? Whats going on?! Any thoughts?!'

[[??? : Atlantis : Inside Kyla/Outside the Throne Room]]
The presence barely shifted but its voice echoed in reply to the girl, its stress leaking through its statements as the situation grew more dire as every second dragged on, "I sense one more of your friends on their way. Possibly more with her. As for the darkness, not to sound totally worthless here, but I can't tell you anything beyond what you already know. I sense darkness, lots of it, and it's not mine. You should have more reinforcements any moment, just hold out a bit longer."

[Nicholas :: Atlantis :: Outside Throne Room]
Nicholas made his way closer to the pictomancer, his clone following behind. In the brief moments before he was within arm's reach of her, he made a quick leap over her. He hit the summoned wall, then pushed off with his feet full force, crumbling one side of the wall as he sped towards her. He arched his foot as he approached, aiming to kick the pictomancer in the back to push her away from the injured dragoon. The swords made various small cuts all over his body, but they were a minor inconvenience compared to not completing the deal.
The clone, meanwhile made his way towards Kyle in a dash, gritting his teeth as he noticed the summon sitting atop the injured Kyle's chest. He opened his palm and pointed it towards the summon, unleashing large gusts of wind in an attempt to remove the summon from its perch. If the wind wasn't powerful enough to remove the summon, the clone readied a powerful punt in order to pry it away. Once the summon was away from Kyle, the clone would immediately throw the orb of darkness down at one of the places that was easily exposed even with their defenses - his legs.

[Artemis ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Artemis coolly stepped out of Joe's path, having seen and heard him well before she was in any danger. Kyla had erected stone walls for her protection, preventing Artemis' next shot from making it. The glass arrow shattered against the stone, sending shards every which way. Without wasting any more time, the archer moved targets, stringing an arrow and taking a shot at Joe as he healed himself. She was about to shoot again when Nick broke down the side one of the stone barriers, leaving a gap barely a heads width wide. That was hardly a challenge. Artemis changed her aim back to Kyla and loosed the arrow. Whether it landed or not was entirely up to Nick's kick. If it made it before hand then there wouldn't be a problem, but if Nick kicked first he might just get shot. That would be okay.

[Joe: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
The fighter got lucky with the arrow. His spin, combined with his wind barrier, managed to shift the arrow away from piercing him. However, it still nicked his neck, the fighter's hand going up to cover it as he hopped back and crouched low. Of course, the archer was shooting at Kyla, who was there with Kyle, apparently. He didn't give himself enough time to register anything else, just moved forward, his hand thrusting out a blast of wind at the arrow(whether or not it could actually affect the arrow in time, he didn't know).
And then he kept moving forward, throwing his staff at the archer, following behind it with a spinning roundhouse aimed at the bend of her neck and shoulder. Whether he connected or not, he followed up with "Come on, I'm your target now!"
