As she latched onto his tail, Sage reacted on instinct. And the instinct was that the tail would attempt to hurl Yuki off of it. The first words out of his mouth were "Gah!"
Weather or not yuki stayed attached to the tail, Sage looked to her and said, " It's just been missing for a while....got bit off a few years back and only recently have I gotten to the point where I could regrow it. And please...don't grab it without warning...."

Yuki, off course, being exhausted, stayed latched on. She hung in front of Sage and poked his nose. "I see... well, I must get back to my puzzle..."
If he looked carefully, he would spot dark crescents under her eyes from lack of sleep.
She dropped from his tail and happily scurried off to puzzle land.

Sage blinked a bit as he noticed the raccoon circles under her eyes. of course! she's a raccoon spirit. They're tricky masters of disguise...and she hasn't been getting enough sleep or food to replenish the energy she spends for the disguise? eh....still...why would she do that?
He then followed Yuki over to the puzzle, and looked between yuki and iri, " so, why the circles under the eyes? something the matter? or have you just been having long, sleepless, passionate nights with the local tom cat?"

Yuki looked to Sage, then shrugged, fitting a few pieces of the 5000 piece puzzle together. "Can't sleep." She said simple, looking through her small organized piles for the pieces she needed.

Sage reached up his sleeve as he heard her response, and after digging around for a minute, he pulled out vial. Inside was a strange looking purplish liquid. " This is the poison of a....um...hell I don't remember the name of it...but it puts people to sleep when ingested, or when placed upon a weapon and used to cut the person. If you want I could mix you some tea with it so you can get some sleep."

Iri looks over at Reeve. Her eyes light up, but she doesn't say anything. She just gets to her feet and moves to stand near him and Saffron.

Yuki took the vial, looked at it, then drank it whole.
She was not very happy when there were no effects but making her shake and wobble. "I... can't sleep..."
Saffron looked down at Reeve with a frown. She kept slowly rising his body temperature back to normal before looking to Tut and doing the same. She said nothing though...

Sage's jaw drops and his eye begins to twitch as she downs the entire vial. " That...but...that stuff is expensive...and you just downed like...a few hundred doses...you're supposed to put a drop of it in a gallon of liquid....not drink that stuff straight. "
As he spoke, Sage sniffled. He had spent a good deal of money to purchase that off of a shady black market dealer. Now he'd have to find a way to pay for a new vial...as well as find a seller once more.

Yuki blinked a few times, staring at the puzzle piece mountain before her (2 feet high).
She fell onto it, pieces scattering everywhere as she went into a coma. But also, her body was so relaxed now that it had stopped working! How fun!

Iri looks away from Reeve to turn an alarmed gaze on Yuki. She stares at Sage and asks, "What the friggin' hell did you give her? I think she might need medical attention..."

Reeve looks alarmed as Iri looks away.

She turns from Sage and looks back at Reeve. Iri crouches next to the couch and her expression turns serious. "What about Fenris?"

"Ssh..." Saffron attempted to calm the man down, confused as to what was wrong. She moved his messy brown hair from his face, then looked to Iri with a frown. He seemed to be calling to Iri, but could only say 'Fenris.'
