Van Evok put him with hammer termies in LR redeemer and move into greatest enemy concentration full speed, blazing with single superflamer allowed by machine spirit, then follow with vulkan's (linked!) heavy flamer and charge - between vulkan's spear and 15 master crafted thunder hammers not many foes will be able to withstand it, and you have 2+ armor/3+ invulnerable all the way... add a librarian with avenger for maximum flamer madness :3 don't forget to get some sternguard with combi-meltas, in some sort of transport to get them where needed. outfit every tactical squad with meltagun and possibly multimelta too, consider combi-melta on sergeant. fill up fast with those multimelta land speeders and/or attack bikes... What he said, really.

Six more Legion of the Damned models coming out in February. Included will be even more left-handed models with bolters. Lady Blodwynn Spam appears to be a popular tactic. Even my old local store is suffering from it! gonk Obviously, lists are made in such a way that spam of a certain things prevails over all other types in most cases.

I guess I should be glad that minimal squads can no longer be taken, six man squads with plasma guns and lascannons were a horribly common back then.

Min-maxed squads with Rhinos or Razorbacks were the norm around here with the previous codex. I mean, s**t. s**t. s**t. It was the only tactics they knew. stare

I had a friend that played lists like that. It was fun to roll through and crush him with heavy mobile lists.

I am having an issue with my chapter. I am unsure of my successor anymore, and am finding my tactics are hard to find a match to any of the others... An amateur fluff enthusiast, and would like advice as to what my primogenitor should be. I feel that by adding at least some fluff to my force, I easily add interest and keep in the spirit of it. My chapter, the storm fists, has these traits based upon my tabletop playstyle and how much I could match that to fluff. Storm Fists: Homeworld is a death world, wracked by constant storms and other weather phenomena. It is a plains/hilly enviroment for the majority. They exalt the powerfist, thunder hammer, storm shield, plasma, melta, and storm bolter. They practice a doctrine of relentless assault, at mid to close range, and the usage of vehicles to wave over the battlefield. Drop-pods are common amongst the first company mainly, their title of storm-brother obvious. They focus on the striking of humanities enemies through concussive and roiling force, much akin to the storms of their homeworld.
That is about as much as I have concrete at this point (like a "needs to have list) I dislike the ultramarines and blood angels. I favour the Imeprial fists and salamanders. does this fit into any archetype of the primogenitors, or am i so generic as to be labelled a vanilla ultramrine chapter?

Well, given the rolling and constant assault, they are somewhat akin to the Blood Angels. However, given that they have a hard and fast sort of force, you might consider them an offshoot of the Raven Guard.

Yea, I don't know much about raven guard, anyone willing to give me a short summary? I am quite partial to them, fists and salamanders. for ease of akinn painting, I'd like to know if the salamander successors are set in stone or possible?
