You must be blind, or a masochist. " His Psionic links of influence and manipulation were that of an ever changing sequence, shifting and never the same twice, each one branching off into their own form of manipulation and mindset to grasp the most control that they could grasp. With this form of shifting manipulation and control, it would make it impossible to influence from the outside because not one link is ever the same and if any outside influence would dare try to effect it, it would break even more and splice into the form of manipulation of the outside source and thus leading to the outside influences ending." Tell me what he's even saying here. It SOUNDS like he's trying to explain why he can change anything he wants, but nobody can stop him.

Binatica Nightsnow Binatica There are other ways to gain powers besides training. Some characters can be built or created with powers, others can be imbued with them by factors entirely beyond their control. In any case, the reason for the acquisition of their powers is in the past and is part of history; there's no need to train seperately. It's not about training to have the powers that I'm differing in opinion -- It's training to keep and utilize the power as much as possible. Some practices like warm ups, to hone the skills.... That's only if there's skills to keep. If the abilities are simple, there's no practice necessary; if you fight once every few years, that's enough to remember the basics. And some things are like riding a bike, they can't be easily forgotten. My characters often have just a few basic and broad base abilities, and they improvise with them as the situation requires. There are times when practice and training can actually be DETRIMENTAL to your abilities. Nightsnow, you're confused. Age and power don't have any DIRECT relationship. However, if someone's playing an immortal demigod which is eight thousand years old, odds are they're probably not going to be pulling any punches. Normalistic characters tend to have shorter lifespans, while godlike beings are usually ancient by the time they've developed their egos enough to meet the ego quota for showing up on Gaia and playing with the other godlike beings. Likewise, everyone puts limits on their character. It's just that everyone puts the limits in a different place. For me, it's boring RPing a human. It's difficult to set traps when all you've got is your fists and whatever weapons you can carry, there isn't much strategy to it and hand-to-hand isn't my style anyway. But that's your style anyways. Like I said, forget what I just said.....

He's not shouting anything, what he's doing is connecting himself to all the dead souls he's kill and as one they think of the solution and it's instantanious to Gambadora's thought process because Ertai is just that special, he can't think for himself....

Nightsnow XShilonX I always put preset limits on my characters, but the fact is, other people don't. Thus, I stretch the limits for what the opponent's limits are. And, I'd also like to state that just because my character has experience doesn't make him more or less powerful than any other'. Experience is a good thing -- at least it makes someone wary without rushing too fast into situations. That doesn't mean it can't be arrogant and ignorant....to some extent. Mreeh, I prefer logic and tact to brute strength, so none of my characters are arrogant OR ignorant. Actually, most of my experiences of people who were arrogant and/or ignorant ended up wrecking a whole storyline. That had been in creation for about two years. Picture this: One of Superman's new friends Nukes Luthor's layer, killing him and all his lackies. Story over, let's go on to the next bad guy! xp What's more, the people who did said wrecking had RP'd for years before this, and grow increasingly more powerful/arrogant. Once in the same RP, a Demon almost wtfpwned us all, yet was cut down by his former master, who then gave an ominous warning about stuff.. Then, they basically glossed over it in a roundabout manner, so I had my character tell them off for being so arrogant... Know what they said in response? "It's not that we're too arrogant, it's just too early for us to care." And if I remember correctly, it took place in the afternoon.

Some people that I've fought with just completely ignore whatever my character is doing, regardless how bad the damage would do to them. Even chopping them up to pieces, they just say in response -- "The blade broke when Snow tried to chop through ___, the attack completely useless due to the ___ design and ___ structure. __ then grabs Snow and literally rips him apart in less than a second from the close range before Snow can even retaliate. The end." =_=;.... Yeah. My sincerest sympathies for your arrogant fools...may they rest in hell.

Actually, they're not even the worst RP'rs I've seen in my life... One actually.. In-Character, mind you.... made a bed appear from the ground, along with wine, and basically starting seducing the character she was fighting. Eh, creative, nyeh?

Creative yes...but I do have to ask why the bed....? O.o.... At least it's better than these five words from a n00b I've fought; I slash you. You die. Me: The hell? I haven't even started yet! Other: So? You're dead already. Me: Wait wait...how can I die if I didn't even respond to your slash? Other: No use. My character is *blah blah blah* (Excuses and lousy excuses.....ugh)
