When the new skill system comes out, will we all be training our way up from square one or will we be given "skill points to distribute" depending on how far we've gone using the old system? I'd feel really put out if it was the former, as it makes the whole bonus rolling at the start of the RP moot, and... it'd make little sense considering all the RP we've done. Not to mention a lot of wasted effort posting in the training threads.
Yeeaaah... Just a random thought that came to me as I was slaving away at homework. Which I haven't finished yet, by the way.
...
I think I'll be turning in now. =u=

As I've told you before, ideally everyone will be awarded at least a specialised class or a custom class automatically just for having been here since the start. That also implies that no, people will NOT be starting from square one.
Jeeze, if you're going to let me offer you a custom class on a plate you could at least listen to me when I explain things x___x;

GO SOLDIERS! *sends his army of soldiers*
But it's going to be hard for everyone to be assigned a custom class that works, right? So it's just a class in name?

Not at all o3o Custom classes are based around the principle of creating a character-specific pool that combines pre-existing skills with one or two totally new ones based on the class description.

THAT depends on whether you have a totally original custom set of pools or if you build on a pre-existing class.

@Panda: Drat...now I want to play the original. Judges suck
did you know that in FFTA2, there's a law against being robbed? Yeah....you're just standing there and this guy mugs you, now YOU lose your clan privilege...hated that mission

Lorika As I've told you before, ideally everyone will be awarded at least a specialised class or a custom class automatically just for having been here since the start. Jeeze, if you're going to let me offer you a custom class on a plate you could at least listen to me when I explain things x___x; I DO listen. But it wasn't clear whether we'd still be working up the ladder for the classes or not, because I remembered you also said some time before in the RP thread not to bother with the skills--or was it training? not sure--because they'll be scrapped anyway... something along those lines. My memory's a little fuzzy, but that's the impression I got from it.
