I actually never saw any advertising/media saying that it didn't suck... so yours is the first opinion on it I've heard.
...so here. *hands Bapp a "#1" flag*

Yeah all the beaches along the coast are screwed. From what I hear they're going to try to divert the oil directly to the sandy beaches because it's easier to clean sand then marshes and other areas along the coast. Course you could also visit the other beaches. Instead of the Gulf try the Atlantic side.

I SO wanna go visit Bapp. In Singapore. >D It'll be fun!
XD I've always wanted to visit cape cod, and the Atlantic beaches too... I'm just not sure I'll be able to make it. D: I've only got 12-13 days to play, and I don't want to spend half of it driving... >_<
Hey Dart, how are your guys' beaches? D:

*shrug* just throwing it out there... it's the only tourist area I'm familiar enough with to give an objective opinion on. Sorry if it's too out of your way to reach this time.

They're alright for now as far as I know. The oil is still miles out from anything, but when/if they heard it to the beaches it'll be there for a while. Of course I haven't been to the beach in years and last time I did go, back in the late 90s the beach was covered in dead jellyfish, and the ocean full of live ones.

XD Well, I'm looking for interesting places to visit... I googlemapped it, and was astonished... it says it only takes 1 day and 14 hours to get there! Then I remembered they don't account for sleep, gas, or breakfast/lunch/dinner. >_<
>w< But if we do go that way, then we can swing by Chicago, too. I've always really wanted to visit, just once....

=o Ohs, Hey Dart~ It's been a while. XD Hmmm... dead jellyfish? That doesn't sound fun.
D: Have you ever been to Mount Rushmore? or maybe Montana? >_< I hear Montana has lovely scenery... and of course I hear that Mount Rushmore has... dead presidents. >_>; Think they secretly sealed the bodies in a cavern inside each of the heads..? that'd make things more interesting. Kinda like... a new-age pharaoh style thing. >D

Jellies... fun... (not)
Whenever I see or hear about jellyfish, my brain immediately goes to Metroid from there...

I've been around, but I haven't been to either of those two places... I think I've been to almost every state on the East Coast at least once (exceptions being GA and SC), CA and NV...
I wouldn't mind going to Chicago either. One of my best online friends lives around there, actually.

The farthest West I've been was New Orleans back around '99 or 2000. Farthest north would have to be Washington D.C. back when I was 3 or 4. In the past few years... the only other state I've been to has been Florida when I was helping a friend of my dad install cabinets and South Carolina for a reason I can't remember. I need to travel more >.<

I used to keep a big rolled up map marked with all the states I've been to... if I set foot there, I marked the state off. I think it's still in the closet back at my mom's place.

XD That's it! I'm picking up both of you and we're going to Chicago! >D It'll for sure make for an interesting road trip. XD
>_< I actually have a pretty home-bound family... we don't go on trips, so I've had to take that kind of thing into my own hands. D: Lots of places I've never been. So Every year I have a summer road trip~ >w<

If we're going to Chicago then there better be a convention, a trip to the Family Matters' house, and an attempt to see Doug Walker haha.
But a trip in itself would be cool, but it has to be before June 25th cause I plan on visiting some friends up at Atlanta for a new convention, and after that I'm stuck with tobacco.
