Lol, Gaia's gone psycho on security lately. Back then, and even a couple of years ago when I joined, you could just run a password cracking program that would run every possible password combination and you would eventually get a hit. Now Gaia bans an IP address after an incorrect password is entered now. People don't get hacked unless they are stupid and use simple passwords. People get scammed all the time because they don't pay attention to the information that the cons ask them for. If they did then no one would ever get "hacked."
Edit: They even ban you now if you gain too much money trading on a consistent basis. That's kinda stupid, but it's meant to deter hackers and scammers because they can't hack old, loaded, inactive accounts.
