Using OOC knowledge for your character.
If your character has never heard of Naruto but goes to Leaf village "hoping to train under someone great" it would be metagaming.
If your character has no reason to care about Rain, but goes to help the battle there because your OOC friend is in trouble, it would be metagaming.
