Just Naota When you've got a judge mistaking the life-thretening condition of circulatory shock with the emotional state of shock. There's a problem.
Who's going into circulatory shock?

Emotional shock is, I think, that involuntary state of being caused by a rapid release of endorphins and adrenalin by the body in response to what it perceives as great pain. I could be wrong, but I think it includes confusion, fear, a general sense of numbness, indignation, and sometimes embarrassment. In some rare cases it can even manifest itself as a very short-lived euphoria that sometimes causes victims to think themselves invincible or unbreakable.
Circulatory or vascular shock is caused by rapid fluctuations in blood pressure. Usually when it goes down, and usually caused by some injury harming a major artery or several major veins. Symptoms normally include involuntary urination, wooziness, visual black-outs, and most commonly unconsciousness with the threat of coma and/or death. Unconsciousness can occur within 20 to 120 seconds of sustaining the injury depending on severity.
Emotional shock in addition to vascular shock is an incredibly dangerous combination.

Jurie's s**t With the acid rolling up her arm she was going to die soon anyways. She'd work up some effort to fight back if she wasn't suffering from several sources of shock. So really... This does not mean she's afraid. This means she's about to die. She doesn't have enough of it because it's being removed by a really corrosive acid. And before anyone say that the burn is too small..Fact is. The moment a 3rd degree burn reaches the size of the average human palm. It's considered critical.

Argue more, my mind will change.
The amount of damage taken was inconsistent with the amount of damage that would be dealt.
I mean, if Linik really wants to go "oh no, my character can't tank through injuries like everyone else" and has her character pass out, then that's Linik's choice.

Anyway, since this seems like it's going to be an issue people whine and b***h about, I'm going to do something where the only people insulting me are accusing me of cheating for owning them so ******** much, which is fun. Unlike listening to people whine.

I'm not a judge by any stretch of the imagination, but Rhos' point is valid. In a tourament not every fight is going to be an equal contest of will and strength. In fact, that's why tournaments exist - to cull the weak and find out/reward whoever is best.
Still, if killing in the arena is against the rules then the killer needs to be punished in accordance to the letter of the rules and the victim of the illegal tactics should advance.
But, again, I'm not a judge. stare I'mma go make mint tea.
