Seto kissed Ayira back, but after a while his exhaustion got the better of him and he had to make it brief. "It'll be morning in a few hours, and the pharaoh will probably have us up early when he finds Bakura and Rei here. I'm going to try and get as much sleep as I can."

Seto couldn't agree with this more. He got up and made sure the door to the balcony was closed securely, as well as the door to the hallway, before returning to the bed. He slipped under the covers and held Ayira close, but fell asleep almost instantly.

Ayira was soon fast asleep cuddled with seto. She couldent be any happier.

As Seto predicted, the pharaoh woke up and found Bakura and his family all in the palace. Instead of confronting the family, or even speaking to Seto himself, he sent a servant to fetch him. The servant waited nervously outside the bedroom door, listening to see if anyone was awake in there, and then knocked softly. It waould have been too quiet to hear even if Seto was awake. He slept right through it, and the servant fled, telling the pharaoh that he was ignored.
Atem went himself to his priest's room. He was in a bad temper, which got worse when he found the door locked. He wasn't able to fling it open and storm in in his usual manner. He hammered on the door with his fists instead, bawling his priest's name. "Seto! Seto! Come out here and explain this to me!"

Seto stirred and opened his eyes. He stared blankly ahead, but another half-wait from Atem brought him sitting bolt upright. "A moment, pharaoh!" He snapped to Atem, who quieted somewhat when he heard them awake. Seto brought his hands up to his face, grumbling for a little bit before looking to the window. It was only beginning to get rosy outside. "I don't suppose we can really put this off. Come on." He got up and changed into a fresh robe, getting orderly before unlocking the door and hastily moving aside as the pharaoh strode in.

When Seto got up Ayira did as well slipping on a dress. She then leaved on the bed rubbing her eyes.

Atem had moved past his original anger and shock and was now in a sarcastically cheerful mood. He went to a chair and sat down, smiling pleasantly at his cousin. "Well, Seto, I hardly need tell you what is going on. Let's just say there's a dead person who's not so dead anymore. Now, because of certain circumstances before, you weren't punished for your original crime of using black arts. But this time I have no excuse not to have you killed. What do you have to say for yourself?"
Seto blinked, trying to clear the sleep from his eyes. When the pharaoh's words sunk in he stared blankly at his cousin. "You think that I..." He muttered, then shook his head. "Pharaoh, I didn't bring Rei back. We don't know how it happened. She doesn't know. But I wasn't a part of it."
Atem got to his feet, his amethyst eyes flashing angrily. "Don't you dare lie to me, Seto! You're the only person in this entire kingdom who has revived a person from the dead! You obviously felt sorry for Bakura because of her death, and did this!" He was a few inches shorter than Seto, but he seemed to almost be the same height as his anger burst out. "What I don't understand is why you brought them all back here. Did you just want to show off your work, or did you honestly think that I was a big enough idiot not to make the connection?!"

"Seto's right!" Ayira said standing up. "When rei died he had already told me he couldent bring her back! he said the spell could only be used once a century! And seto oviously has his memories! Rei just appered out of the blue!"

"And we're supposed to just believe him?" Atem snapped at Ayira. "I'm fairly confident when I say that I know this man more than you, woman. He would lie to his own father's face if he got what was better in the end. Seto bringing Rei back makes much more sense than her just randomly appearing."
Seto stiffened in silent anger. He found his voice quickly, and spoke in a quiet growl. "You may have known me longer, pharaoh, but there is no way you know me more than she does." His blue eyes were as cold as ice. "Besides, isn't that explanation what happened when Mariku came back? He just 'randomly appeared.' But we saw him die, pharaoh. And you know I had no part in it."

"I will not appear weak." Atem snapped. "Others will make the same connection I did. Whether or not you're telling the truth won't matter." He turned, to face two guards he had brought along. They had hovered nervously in the doorway. "I want this man brought to the dungeons."
Seto was quiet. He knew better than to try and fight the pharaoh. "Are you having me killed, then?" He asked softly, as the guards came up and took him by his shoulders.
"No. Not right now." Atem said bitterly. "But I can't have you possibly escaping. We'll wait until we can talk to the thief and his wife."

"Your not weak your stupid! What reason would seto have for bringing rei back!?" Unlike seto ayira couldent help but show her anger.
