She walked into the park, taking a moment to admire the frost covered landscape. "Here is the glorious Central Park."

"No we don't actually." Neko said, going over to an obviously newly planted tree. "The entire city was nearly destroyed by flooding not too long ago. You might've heard about that, and the torrential rains that caused it. It's only been recently that New York has been able to get back on it's feet. After the floods, most of the city was in ruins, and the water and contaminents caused a disease that futher ravished the city. We don't have it well at all."

Zane opened one of his eyes to stare at her with a startling violet eye, "Hum? I must have really been out of it if I didn't hear about that."

"You must have. It was all over the news." Neko started to climb up the tree, and continued when she had settled herself on a branch. "The smell from all that disease and water still lingers over the city. That's mainly why I don't go out much anymore, because the smell just gets to me after a while."

Zane closed his eye and frowned, "No I don't recall unfortunatly where I come from we live very far from any trace of the humans, to many complications for us to live among them. I think at the time my elders were still training me. There are many things I am unaware of."
The demon looked up and sighed.

"If you want to see some good nature then you're looking in the wrong direction!" He chuckled at his own pick up and dodged up the tree, he was fast and when he reched the top, he didn't have a hard time balancing.
"Damn.. the building are too tall, All I can see from here is the main street's around the park, the trees, and the lake. I guess that means I'm going to have to learn the streets from the bottom.. Unless i got to the tallest building and looked around, I still need to find out where the blood suckers and Mangy hounds stay. They're my target, The elders won't wait, and if I fail I'll be killed for sure..."
"Stupid large cities...screwin' with my plans..." Zane growled and hoped a few more trees and looked around, "I think I can surmise that this place is human friendly, not many fights take place here... Not that I think we need to, the human law keepers are always so suspisious... and their damn government.."
