reddy2Bplayd Ayuta This is where my guardian angel comes in and stops all this crap. I'm sorry to say it, Ayuta, but you can't rely on an outside force all the time. Just because someone has a difference of opinion does not mean they're wrong. You can't go around and tell everyone that they have to be Catholic because people who aren't are offensive. Would you treat a Muslim or a Jew the way you're treating all of the Atheist/Agnostic/Reddy following people? All I said was I believe people need a stroing spiritual belief; never once did I pin point a specific religion. Leave me alone.

Leave me alone. You did, actually. You made several posts about how you felt an anti-Catholic vibe. I'm not anti anything. Not to mention that no one here ever said they weren't spiritual. You never once asked what any of us believe.

I believe in reincarnation, but I don't like talking about it openly. I'm afraid people would be too quick to jump from reincarnation -> religion, and assume I'm Budhhist or something, which I'm not. All I know is that having vivid recurring 'daymares' about being a man getting his head cut off might be a sign that this ain't my first time around the lifecycle.
Meanwhile, I don't appreciate it when anybody tells me I've got to rely on another's belief structure to validate mine. That's hogwash.
I respect all beliefs, even a lack thereof. The 'wishy-washy' types don't care enough to get involved in these debates.
Now, I think I'll step back out of this. I'd hate to withdraw from another guild. gonk

We're not meaning to offend you, or at the very least I'm not (I see it as a joke, seeing as one of the threads is labeled "The cult of clavy/the covered"). It's good that you have religion, because I feel that everyone needs something important to them. Be it a person, religion, or what have you.
But the people in this guild come from all over. Some of us have moral convictions, religious beliefs, etc. Almost all of them are different from one another. I lend a lot of my religious beliefs from paganism, buddhism, and shintoism. It's how my family raised me, and the people around me were. But when I come here I realize people have different views, and I try to put what I believe aside for the moment. If it comes into play, I'll speak my point.
Just because we don't voice it, doesn't mean we don't nessessarily believe in anything. There is a good portion of us that live without any religion, and function without it. Some of us have it, and don't put ourselves into it so heavily. And of course, people like you, who believe they could not live without it.
I think there are a number of people who believe in religion, but just simply don't bring it up here. Religion becomes a very touchy subject between people, so I usually try not to think about it too much.
I don't think anyone was trying to attack Catholocism (I hope I spelled that right) or any religion, least of all you. I'm sure a few felt like they were being attacked by you, and felt they needed to defend themselves. As I'm sure you felt.
I see this as a miscommunication on both sides. Could we please all back off of the subject for now?

Better understanding comes when it's private and not a public specticle. I have to corner Dani-mun tomorrow or tonight and open her eyes more. Damn sappy lovey dovey crap.

Hey Pasta ....I think my cat is stuck behind the washing machine again. gonk One of my childhood cats used to get herself stuck between the screen and the glass in the kitchen window... a six-foot jump from outside, and then some sort of kitty contortionist trick to wiggle through the little hole in the screen. xp

Imagine the visual, though... walking to the sink to rinse off a plate, and there's a stretched-out black blob in the window that mews frantically when the water's turned on. xd Open the window, and she'd stand there on the sill because getting down involved jumping into the sink and she didn't want to get her paws wet. I miss having cats. sad
