I don't think that interview is even him, just some person screwing around, look at someone of the questions and compare them to what you do know about kyo, plus if it was Shinya why would he say he would become himself to reveal everything? 0_o lus Shinya has no piecerings except for his ears that we know of

The September thng isn't when the interview was held, it's when it was uploaded on the site... There was also a macabre interview dated September 5th 2007 so it wasnt that...

Shinya grew up in Osaka, that "interview" is two years old, and 95% percent it's a fake. Kyo's favorite artist is Kiyoharu for one... *oh noez, my first post in a month!*

The interview IS a translation of a real thing surprised ...
When it comes to Kyo--and many many many other Jrockers--we have no idea what to believe and what not to believe. He's admitted that he lies a lot in interviews, but does he really? Or is that a lie, too?
I think he's just having fun doing what he does and giving his fans something interesting to read and think about him.
And it really angers me when people come in here and go "he doesn't hate children" or "he almost quit the music business to marry that one girl" or "his favorite artist is" and just kinda' act like we all know what's "right" and "wrong" about these people that we don't even know.
The person that runs that site doesn't just make up and post bullshit interviews and such, so: assuming that this is a real interview, let's all just giggle at his answers and speculate about what MAY and MAY NOT be real, rather than posting back and forth endlessly about something we don't have a definite answer to.
And sorry for the rant, but this is a major problem in the Jrock fandom in general and I'm not just trying to *target* people that posted here on this subject. It's just hard to see this going on when someone in my family is kinda' being talked about in the same way recently...

when does he say he lies in interviews? i've heard a lot of people say that but i've never actually found where he says it
i've read an interview where he admits to giving 'outlandish' answers, which doesn't count for outright lying
and i agree talking about kyo like we know him is a bit odd. we only ever really know what he tells us, after all. i mean i have read interviews where he talks about wanting to have kids, but his opinions could have changed. and where in this interview does he say he hates women?
as for the favourite stuff thing; he says something different almost every time in these short little casual interviews. let's face it, he doesn't really take them seriously. though in the in-depth personal interviews and extracts of blogs that i've read his answers are pretty uniform [he says kiyoharu is his fav artist almost ever time, for example]
