I guess we should probably throw on now that there's a spoiler warning for anyone who didn't see last night's FMA episode. Tsukasa Elric Naga the White Serpent Tsukasa Elric Phoenix315 gonk Lots of FMA threads today... crying Ya think so genius? What tipped ya off? I think they're funny. I was awaiting this explosion eagerly and it has not disappointed my comedic expectations. xd To be honest, the thing that got me the most in that episode was Armstrong crying. domokun My friends and I came to the conclusion that Hughes' death was not actually the most sad part of the episode. What was was Elysia asking the questions at the funeral. That and Mustang's little dialogue with Hawkeye. All in all, I loved how they did this episode. The one thing I would have changed (from my not-speaking-Japanese-but-have-seen-the-fansubs point of view) is Mustang's last line. He said in the Dub version "It's going to rain today" whereas I had seen it before as "It's beginning to rain". I thought that the second one was more appropriate as I thought Mustang was saying it to excuse his tears, passing them off as rain running down his face (on a perfectly clear day). The line still works, I just feel that the "It's going to rain today" lacks some of the connotations of the other way.

Streamjumper I expected him to cry, and it still kinda got me. The biggest thing though to me was when Roy tried to maintain his bravado when he was at the grave with Hawkeye. The line about dying and getting promoted above him was perfect. I liked how it showed exactly how much this affected Roy. Their little conversation after the funeral I liked, especially the bit Naga talks about when Roy says "It's starting to rain" to hide his tears. And Eliysa... Bless her cotton socks.

Tsukasa Elric Musuu Tsukasa Elric Musuu I JUST realized the black tundra jacket is just like the jacket of that one kid from Naruto. The kid with the dog. Kiba.
-downloading all the eps she's missed- sweatdrop -Is a loser and has all 132 episodes and the first movie on his PC, along with about 1000 fan arts of various characters and the most recent 144 chapters of the manga.- sweatdrop Slightly obsessed? Me? Nooo... >.>

3.14 Chibi Baka My Faust cosplay is close to being done crying Back to school time ^^ We need to meet at ACen, for sure. I don't know what my Josh should go as. He wants to dress up...but I don't know what he can be. I wanted to dress him up as a n00b, but he wants to be something cooler. rolleyes All I would have to do is sew some flames on a black shirt and pants. Then maybe get a flower crown. whee I think it would be cute. XD I think that would be awesome. you should make him a n00b sign razz

Naga the White Serpent All in all, this is one of the best episodes of FMA in my opinion, for the funeral scene alone. They just do things with the characters there near perfectly in my opinion. I made it through the death scene, but the funeral made me cry. I really liked Roy's line as well. Also! Pi's avatar cosplay is so win.
