Seto rolled his eyes, and decided to change the subject. "I can get a servant to come to you and tell you when Bakura wakes up, but otherwise I think you should stay in here with your kids."

"Shock, probably. She was dead. Turns out her husband would abandon her children hours after her death. What can you expect?" Seto was glad to see that Kabi hadn't lurked around.

"I've got Bakura blood all over me." Seto complained, looking down at himself. With the kinds of jobs he did for the pharaoh, it wasn't uncommon for him to have blood on his hands. "I should go wash up."

Seto paused to kiss Ayira briefly, before going off to take a bath.

Ayira kissed him back. after washing her hands she headed to his room.

Seto took longer, since he decided to take an entire bath instead of just washing his hands and bloodied areas. He returned to his room entirely exhausted; they had stayed up most of the night with the entire Bakura affair. His head ached from the loud day in the market, and he just wanted to sleep. However, because of what had happened between Bakura and Rei, he was feeling very depressed. He had been able to see the pained look on Bakura's face when Rei ran in. He hadn't been able to forget it.
Why would Bakura not want to believe Rei was there? He thought it was only a false hope. He was hesitant to believe, but when he realized that Rei was real, he had been completely taken in by her. Was that what Ayira had done? She had told him how much she had missed him, when his memory was gone, and that even the hope of him being back had made her be with him. How could he hold that against her? She had only been trying to do what she thought was best. Would he have done the same?
So when Seto returned to his room and found Ayira there, he felt himself breaking down. No, he was no longer mad, or even irritated about what had happened. He hadn't said anything about it, but still thought about it from time to time. He went to Ayira silently, and took her into his arms. He pressed her close, wanting nothing more than to realize that she was here, warm and alive, and that she loved him. He trembled softly from the effort it was taking to hold back a sob of relief. No, he had never loved another before, and so she had completely captured his heart. He knew he would never love another as he loved her, and that there was no use denying it. He pulled away from the embrace, looking at her.
"Ayira... if you'll still accept my worthless self... I want to marry you."

Ayira had been half asleep when hecame in.Normaly seto would bathe and then go to bed so ayira thought it would be ok to go to sleep before him. She she was scooped up into his arms she smiled and nuzzled close. As those words lefts his mouth ayiras eyes widen. "s-seto...Do you mean it?" turning she cupped his head in her hands "Of corse i'll marry you!" she said and kissed him passionetly "And you are far from worthless."

Seto kissed Ayira in return. For a while he didn't see any reason in doing anything else. After a considerate time, he pulled away. "Of course I'm serious. I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I don't think there are going to be any more doubts in my mind. You're the only woman I've ever loved."
