Ditto on the missing you guys.
Bah, I can't find the right ******** thing and I think I may have, but it's $22 dollars out of the 25 that we have for the rest of the week to live with. I don't want to buy/download this thing and it not be right/not work.
I know Naz is going to hate it, but I think I might have to wait. I'd rather her work friend come back over(he was the one that looked at it and said what we'd need) and make sure it's the right thing. If it'll even freakin' work. ><
This is so frustrating. It's really hard to be stressed out about money, yet have free internet and not be able to escape on here and chill with you guys.
I really wanted to have this thing fixed before I got Jess from work, but I don't want to waste all that money on the wrong sort of recovery disc.

Ugh, Nightline was on and it was just REALLY pissing me off. It showed like, this conference this Christian guy was giving here in the states, but they played it in Uganda, and then there was like a huge wave of homophobia from it..
And this minister from uganda was showing a slideshow called 'the gay agenda' with lots of graphic gay porn on it, and people were freaking out and crying and stuff... and it's like.. YEAH CUZ THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE STRAIGHT PORN IN THEIR COUNTRY CUZ OF THEIR CULTURE! They're just shocking them to get a reaction, and then it spreads.
And there's all these little kids there holding up signs and stuff and they don't even look like they know what's going on and it's just ******** crazy and shitty, people move in and they know people are very superstitious there and that they can influence them, so they stir crap up and..... whatever religion those people follow is not something I agree with at all. :/ I don't think people like that who say they follow Jesus even know what the hell the guy was really about in the slightest.
Grraaah.... it kinda makes me sick. If the whole world took a sudden turn like that and everyone started getting all angry and passing bills to put homosexuals to death I'd just kill myself and say ******** this world. :/ Not a place I'd like to live in.

Jesus I miss you guys so much. gonk Real life has been hella stressful. I had a co-worker look at my computer, but another co-worker with more experience is going to take it to try and fix it up; I'm not certain how long it may take, but Chris said after he assesses the extent of the problem, he'll give me an estimate. Furthermore, with our tax returns we'll probably be purchasing a laptop and an additional desktop so that we won't have this problem again.
I'm on my mother's laptop -- she loaned it to me since she and her boyfriend are shacked up, happy as canaries. XD I'm thrilled for her, since their relationship is so healthy; they're getting married and I actually approve of it, even though it's been like, less than two months. I told Kat I loved her after our first kiss, and I meant it, I would have married her then -- and here we are four years and a million miles of life later, dealing with potholes but damn happy together. I think some relationships are meant to be that way.
But, hell, she might sell me her laptop, since I believe Craig has a computer. We shall see.
Kat and I have been watching Yu Yu Hakusho. We're into the final rounds of the Dark Tournament. God, I love these characters. <3
@Cassy, RE Uganda; Yeah I read about that a few weeks ago. It's unfortunate but most good things -- religion, government, charity -- are harnessed by hateful souls to become machines of cruelty. =/

Man, today has just dragged on its freakin' belly. I'm so bored. I still have two hours before I can leave for work and I'm about to claw my eyes out.
Our roommate tried to come talk to me earlier this morning after I got back from taking Naz to work, all concerned about our house payment/lot rent. We're a little behind. We're a little behind because he couldn't come up with the $150 we charge him for rent on the week it was due. So, both things were late, and both things have late fees. Well, had he given that only one of them would have been late, but he didn't.
We still owe them like, $180 or so, so it isn't like terribly, omg!we're gonna lose our house bad. But it's gonna have to wait until Friday again.
If my hours hadn't sucked so bad it wouldn't have mattered as much that he was short, I guess. But I only ask him to really worry about rent, so why is that so hard, ya know? It's one friggin' time a month.
If we had known it was going to be like that we woulda just budgeted for it the week before. Now I think there's this thing of, "Well, you guys wouldn't be able to do this if I wasn't here."
Really it's a, "We have a little more play money because he's here."
On top of that I think he has it in his head that I'm a shitty friend because I haven't talked to him in like a week, and the last time I did it was this emotional blah because Naz wasn't here. I'm thinking he's thinking that I used him like most his other friends supposedly do, so the only time I want to talk to him is to b***h about stuff.
Which is funny because, actually, I feel he's done that with me. Ever since he got himself a girlfriend they're always back in his room or out. Why would I go try to hang out with him when she's here? Shouldn't she have priority in all of it? Why should I interrupt their time?
The little of two weeks I was kind of dating him back in '08, he'd have the chick he ended up hooking up with later on come over when I was trying to spend time with him. It made me feel like s**t, and from what I can tell his girlfriend now has more insecurity issues than I have. And I don't want to make someone feel like that, even if I don't care for them that much.
It's just irritating and makes the house feel....gray, is the only way I can describe it. I don't think this arrangement is going to work out for much longer.
It's making everything feel crappy. At least for me. And I'm pretty sure Naz wants to behead him anyway.

My cousin kidnapped me this weekend. D: crying
No but I hung out at her place and the snow is almost gone here and it was SIXY DEGREES YESTERDAY and today.
And I had real New Orleans chicken and sausage gumbo at a restaurant and um....
And I bought a bike. It cost me $530.
But from my loan for this semester I had $1000 extra- last semester $700 of that went to pay back-rent and heat for my last landlord, and the other $300 went for clothes, winter boots, functioning backpack, stuff like that.
So.. yeah.
ITS SWEET. It's called a Cary/Gary Fisher and um... it's a silvery mint green. 3nodding
I got a little computer thing that tells time/speed/distance and a fender and a water bottle thing and a kickstand andddddddddddd.............. and it has cool click shifting instead of the grip shifting and suspension on the front tire and..
... and it's broken because when they put it together the guy put the screw in too tight for the plastic thing that holds the break lines tight to the frame. :/ So the break line to the back is all loose and in danger of hitting the gear and being ripped/broken, so I had to leave it at my cousin's and she's gonna take it in and have them fix it as soon as she can. 3nodding Whenever she next goes into town there (It's an hour away from where I live)
Yeahhhh... I got to ride it for a little bit though, and it was great. I've never ridden an adult bike before, one that's actually to my size... it was amazing. I can't even describe the feelign when I first tried one out... it was almost the same as riding my bike for the first time though. ^_^
That is my transportation. 3nodding
But I was kinda freaking out when/before/after I bought it. Just kinda..... I got some stuff I got to file with H&R Block because my mom had some money with them, about the same the bike cost... so.... s'not so bad.
Yeah.............
and I learned how to make crepes.
THAT WAS MY WEEKEND. :3 Love you dudes.
(*cough* and my mom married my (now ex) step-dad after a month so yeah)
