it had its good and bad things.... Things were cheaper back then neutral
Well I arrived a little late, since there are no more movies and things coming out soon enough everybody has moved on to diferent hobbies. mad a kinda bad time to start a geekish affair with star wars...

I like randomness. I just watched a movie called The Velvet Goldmine, about the life of David Bowie. Ewan Mcgregor is in the movie, and he looks all diffrent from any other movie I ever seen him in. He sing too. He is a good singer I think.

Wait until Fall. Then when the clone wars movie and series comes out we will be humming with activity. But we're actually pretty active for a guild, especially a star wars guild.

And, yes ... a lot cheaper back then. Thankfully, gold is a bit easier to get these days. And, I just about have a handle on how the "economy" works, so if you need any help in that regard, feel free to call on me. ^_^

Thanks whee you would think that being a gaian veteran would have teach me how to manage money, but actually im pretty much always broke stare so maybe I could use some financial advice sometime.

True true. I wonder how the new clone ears will be like. It seems like if the are constantly changing and adding to the story. I read 'labyrinth of evil' and its kind of different from what happens in the cartoon network clone wars. confused now there will be a new character in the new series.

theres a new ARC trooper and Anakin gets a padawan.
Five bucks says she dies in the series somehow which serves to further drive Anakin over the edge of the Dark Side.

Well, from one '03er to another, I got your back.
The first pro-tip I keep trying to drill into this bunch is: patience! Every month, all collectibles are insanely priced on opening day, and deflate as the month progresses.
Naturally, we're in March of 2008. Thus, as the 15th of March has come and gone, the items you could get from the envelopes are currently running about 20k or so. By the 31st, I all but guarantee that they'll deflate to about 12-13k or so, barring any efforts to artifically inflate the price.
Items from January 2008 also ran in the 20k range on opening day, with progressive deflation as the month progressed. By month's end, they dropped to about roughly 11k or so, and are slowly rising now. You can generally get those for about 14k these days.
Of course, I have little doubt that they'll rise in the future.
So, long story short: if you're buying with gold, wait until the month ends. You'll earn some gold, and save it, too! 3nodding
