Wally_West http://snopes.com/ Type in the info here in the search and see if it comes up as a scam. So far I can't find anything in a search except for the "enter account info," but instead I changed my information, password, etc

Mssr Remy LeBeau Dammit I am POed! I just got a warning e-mail from Paypal that someone tried to hack into my account last night! Notify Paypal. They did the same thing to my friend. She got an email from Paypal saying someone hacked into her account, and she needed to enter her information. It looked really official, so she entered everything, including her bank card number and PIN. The ONLY thing that saved her was that she has her PIN memorized by the location of the ATM keypad, which is different from a keyboard set up. So she entered the wrong PIN and the people ended up freezing her account because they kept entering the wrong number. So she was lucky.

Paypal and eBay never put links to their site in emails they send you. It's a dead givaway if you get one that does. Also, I have yet to get an actual notice from paypal that has ! exclamation points in it.
