Eichie trembled, his bangs falling into his eyes. "That's not good enough...THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" He slammed his fish into the counter, and there was a cracking noise, like something had cracked under the hit. Eichie was no longer calm. He was beside himself. "I don't care if I kill him, I just want him to suffer! Suffer the way I suffered...the way everyone else suffered! I want him to feel pain with my own hands!" He started to cry.
"But...you're hands were meant to create, Eichie...not to destroy," Umi said softly. She had left the kitchen while he'd been ranting, and was now standing behind him, her eyes full of sorrow.

Helix opened the door to the kitchen. "Lan!" he cried, and threw his arms around Lan. He hugged his brother as hard as he dared. "It's okay, Lan. It's not important, okay?"
Eichie got up, and smiled warmly. All traces of his earlier mood had vanished, as if by magic. He walked over to Lan, and crowched down, so the two were eye-level. He smiled warmly. "Hey kiddo. You okay?"
Umi looked at Alex, her face sad. "I appologize..."
