When the teen went to hold up the fabric to further inspect his work, he found that he had done the section of the symbol completely backwards. He gave a short frown and proceeded to pull the thread back out of the material to the point where he had last left off. He was slightly put off by the sudden stop to his momentum, but was not truly surprised by the outcome and thus not too frustrated by it. For a novice like him to able to have done as well as he had up until that point was satisfactory enough for him. Not to mention the fact that he had nothing planned for the immediate future meant he was in no rush to finish it. With the thread removed from the incorrect portion, the boy started leading the needle through the fabric once more.

In a short period of time the boy found himself at a logical stopping point in the section of the symbol. Placing the sewing material aside he held up the material to examine it even closer than he had done previously. He had to be extra critical of this particular section since it was a re-do of the mistake he had just made. After several seconds of looking it over he came to the conclusion that it was definitely good enough to make the tobidogu work. The which was good considering he was still learning how to sew properly as he worked. The boy retrieved the needle and thread to go on with the pattern as new thoughts filled his mind. He began to ponder if putting stitches in a person was anything similar to the sewing he was doing now.

Rhaim was actually getting fairly nervous as he inspected the last section of tobidogu that he had sewn into the fabric. It looked more than good enough for the symbol to work, if it would work at all. He was really quite anxious about having something fully functioning that would actually make a difference in his day to day activities as well as his general combat style. Up until the Tobidogu he hadn't learned any techniques that truly changed his non-combat role on a team. The teen let out a low sigh to keep himself from grinning like an idiot at the thought that he may actually be useful very shortly. He wasted no time in recovering the needle and thread so that he could finish up the last bit of the pattern.

Rhaim finally held up the leg cloth with a finished Tobidogu pattern successfully sewn into it. The boy couldn't help but smirk slightly as he laid it back down into his lap and reached over to his kunai pouches that he had set aside. He undid the simple latch and pulled out three of the weapons, laying them back down again on the newly sewn pattern. As he had done before with the scrolls he used his chakra to seal the blades into the tobidogu. The fact that it happened with such ease and without any sort of hiccup excited the boy into smirking a second time. With that complete he picked up the cloth and sewing supplies yet again and shifted it over to start on another pattern directly next to the finished one.

Still slightly giddy over the fact that he had actually managed to make a functioning Tobidogu pattern that he would use on a day to day basis, the Nara boy finished the first section of his second pattern. As was quickly becoming his custom he held the fabric up to examine his handiwork and ensure that he hadn't made any errors that would cause it to not work. Fortunately he was starting to get the hang of the whole sewing thing and hadn't made any mistakes yet. He didn't however expect for it to go with a hiccup, since he was still just learning how to do it himself. When he set about to carry on with his work he thought about whether or not he would offer up creating the things for his new teammates. It may make for a good introduction after all.

Rhaim set the needle and thread down in his lap as he raised the fabric he was working on up to his face to examine it. His more than required looks proved that he had still managed to do the job to a satisfactory level. The which was good since he was still playing with the idea of making such objects for his potential new teammates. His mind was still on that topic when he picked up the needle and thread to keep going on creating the tobidogu pattern. The boy however should have probably devoted his entire focus to the creation of the pattern since he still wasn't very good at sewing. Only time would tell if the teen could multi-task with that particular project.

When the needle pulled through the material for the last time for that section of the pattern, the boy set about his examining ritual. What he found however was that he would have to remove the most recent section of sewing as he had done it completely wrong. Though it had simply been a mistake of doing the previous part over again, he was still too inexperienced to notice the flaw. Thus he was unable to consider the best possible way to overcome it in his next attempt. That fact was not too great as he was already ceasing his off topic thoughts and turning his mental gears off of autopilot. The which would likely rectify the situation.

Rhaim was starting to be able to tell that his sewing pattern was correct before he lifted it up for a check. The whole issue of sewing in general was becoming more and more understandable as he pressed on through the self imposed assignment. The idea that he would be able to walk away from the forest later that day with something truly new was driving him on better than the thought of learning any jutsu. The concept of creating such seals for potential teammates ahead of time was however pretty much tossed out the proverbial window. It was taking enough time as it was just to make them for himself, let alone extras for other people that may not even like or want the items.

The Nara teen set aside the needle and thread as he finished up another section of the pattern. Upon holding it up for inspection he was pleased with his continued good work and began to reach for his needle once again to press onwards. That however was brought to a screeching halt as he noticed that somehow he had managed to inscribe the name of a certain Fujiko into the pattern instead. After blinking and staring at the error for several seconds in disbelief at the fact that he could write with stitching, he pulled the ill done threading back out of the fabric and readied himself to retry the portion. He was more focused on how he could have even made that kind of mistake than on the mistake itself.

As the last pull of the needle completed the most recent section of the second tobidogu pattern, Rhaim put the sharp point and black thread down in his lap. Still holding the leg cloth itself, he raised the work up to his face to ensure that he hadn't let his prone-to-wandering mind get lost again. Though as it was he had made no noticeably drastic errors that would cause him to have to redo the work. He gave a slight nod towards the crafting in his hands as he reached for the sewing kit to finish up the second of his four intended seal. While four certainly wasn't the only ones that he intended to make, it was all he would do until finding some other task to occupy his mind. He could only take so much mundane sewing after all.

Rhaim had done as he was slowly fearing he would do, completely lose mental focus of his task at hand and think about something else entirely. The needle and thread did not pierce the fabric once since his completion of the last portion of the tobidogu pattern. He had simply stared blankly down at the items in his hands and pondered about what he would do once he had made even seals for his kunai. Upon actually realizing what he hadn't done, the boy scoffed at himself shook his head quickly from side to side. It didn't mattered what he planned to do when he was finished if he never got done in the first place. To get done he needed to actually sew, so that meant that he couldn't let his mind go totally blank like it had done again.

The young teen had for the second time that day managed to somehow sew in the seal pattern of the tobidogu on his thigh cloth. Regardless of the pure luck that was likely making his progress possible, he was definitely coming much closer to being just slightly more useful to a team. With it complete he laid it back down in his lap and retrieved another set of three kunai from his holster besides him to place into the seal. After a quick 'push' of chakra the weapons were in place and the boy was ready to continue on to the third pattern. He noted that he would only be able to do one more symbol next to the other two before he would have to shift down the cloth a ways to account for how it wrapped around his leg.

With two successfully crafted tobidogu pattern sewn into his cloth the boy finished the first part of the third pattern rather quickly. Upon closer examination of the piece he was satisfied with how it was coming out so far. After a quick check on the amount of thread he had left, he figured that he would be able to at least seal all of his basic load. The backpack worth of items that he would need for longer missions he would still have to carry. This understanding did not bother the Nara as he reached back for his needle and thread to carry on with the third symbol. Though he was still not comfortable with the whole sewing endeavor, the objects didn't feel near as foreign in his hands anymore.

Rhaim placed the sewing supplies into his lap yet again as he held up his latest progress to review it. Through squinting eyes he decided that it was done at least well enough as the previous two patterns. He was making good progress on the task but was slowly starting to get bored and sidetracked in his thoughts. There was only so much sewing that a teenage boy could do before he would inevitably want to bash his head against one of the nearby trees. Ironically though that boredom would most likely cause him to press on with the task so that he wouldn't have to come back to it again. He had already mentally decided that should he make tobidogu again, it would not be done while he was alone and able to train some sort of combat ability.

The young genin watched as the sewing work began to truly take the form as the two previous ones had done. When the last pull of the thread for that pattern came through he set down the needle and held up the cloth. His examination came to prove that he was indeed doing a fine job with the crafting thus far. Happy with the continued progress he was making on the work, Rhaim took up the needle and thread once again to proceed with the finishing portions of the tobidogu sealing symbol. While he still had one more pattern to make until he would allow himself to stop, he could feel that the end of the tedious work was within his grasp. All he had to do was keep his mind focused and not think about the fact that he really was winging it.
