Hearing what Tiz and Sabre had to say, Shadow took a few steps away as Tiz took a step forward toward him. Shadow looked worried at the thought of being carried away by a tidal wave and having little room to run, for there wasn't much of a way to escape from it in the cave, because it had been built to kill everyone if all attempts to defeat the warriors would failed. The only way to escape would be to get through the passage ways at a rapid speed and that would seem impossible to Shadow without using his teleportation power. But Shadow knew if he tried teleporting too far, he would risk teleporting into an area unknown to him or teleporting himself into a solid object. That fool. He's gone insane! He's going to kill us all if he unleases a tidal wave! I can't control these extra defenses, if I don't find a way to shut them down quick, we're all gonners! If all else fails, I may be forced to do something drastic and that most definitely won't be good. But I have to try to remain calm and try to find a way to get this crazy guy not to kill us, without having to kill anyone. Dammnit! How am I supposed to do that? I never received any training that taught how to save people! I better just back away a bit for now and see if that guy will come to his senses.
(This explains why the cave floors weren't so thick as one might believe and why they chose an unstable rock area for their base. As you already know, Takuma, Darkfang, Humbre and Shadow all had powers fit to survive a collapse if all else failed, but the battle didn't seem to work ou the way they planned it.)

I slowly walks down a small deer trail, trying to make as little noise while passing through this new unknown land. a small bird shifts its body on a branch higher above me causing me to slow down and take in the sight of a moonlit lake further on ahead of me

His eyes open wide, pupils enlarge and his he begins to quiver in fear. He takes a step intimidated and continues to tremble. Draco noticed the little wolf boy trembling and turned his face away, knowing that the wolf boy was intimidated and scared because of Draco's overall demeanor. Draco turned his body the other way and tried to go back to sleep, laying his body down on the branch of the tree. His dragon tail lifts up on top of the branch with the rest of him, as to no longer catch the little wolf boy's attention. Draco frowned angrily as he lied his head on his paws and closed his eyes, trying to go back to sleep. Wolvii slowly takes a step back and then turns around and begins to run away. Kojii, his older half brother, was standing behind him as Wolvii turned away from Draco and began to run. Within the first running step that Wolvii took, he crashed into Kojii and fell backwards onto his back. As Wolvii lied on the floor, he looked up at Kojii, scared and intimidated by his taller height and stronger body structure. His eyes opened wide in fear and be began to crab walk backwards two steps. Kojii looked down at him silently, blinked a few times without emotion and then began to walk away from him. What a coward, crawling away like that. Despite his appearance, I very much doubt that he derrives from my clan. I think I may have wasted my time traveling here. "Wait, are you from my kind? You look like it. Maybe we're related, because only the fastest ones of our clan survived." Kojii looks at him like Wolvii is lying to him. Out of anger and curiosity, he lifts Wolvii up by his shirt, reaches for his sleeve and tears it off, checking for a moon birthmark.
