"Unless you all are," Khalid commented, moving over to Vadin. "Why the evil eye? Don't tell me that I had hurt your feelings before. What's past it past, after all. Besides, why are you being angry at me now? You've had years and years and years and years to take out your anger on me. Now that I'm an angel, there's not too much you could do, seeing as I'm dead."
Atem gave up, slumping against the door. "So what are we supposed to do?"
"Shirts are nice..." Ryou said softly, starting to flip through a couple of racks.

Ryou picked out a fairly plain black T-shirt, held it out for Kira to inspect or anything, tilting his head to the side. "Just shut up..." Vadin muttered, rubbing his temples and closing his eyes. "I don't want to mess with you at the moment." Khalid chuckled darkly, bent his head near Vadin's, muttering something in his ear. Vadin growled, and Khalid laughed again, backing off. "Struck a nerve there, did I?"

Kira smiled "looks good to me.." sheturned to kawi going to pay for it.
Kawi smiled "dont worry.Its on the house." she grabed a pair of siccors and cut the secirty tag off "there"

"Oh." Ryou blinked, then jumped when there was a loud banging from the bathroom, like a chain hitting against metal. "Are Atem and Ember still in there?"
Atem tried to hit the door again, but this time with the chain. Growing annoyed quickly, he slammed the puzzle part as hard as he could against the door-- a bad mistake. As it had during the duel with Bandit Keith, the puzzle shattered into their individual pieces, scattering across the floor. Atem, his soul still tied to the puzzle, automatically was forced within it, his body empty as it fell to the ground. On its way down, it hit its head against the sink, on its temple. Without a soul to make it stronger, giving it a better will to live, instructing it to breathe regularly and such (though this usually happened, but in this case the body was unconscious) it died, though Atem was intact.

Embers eyes widen as she catched him.She was shaking as her arms reached out gathering all the pieces of the puzzle.He seemed to have passed out when the puzzle shattered so mabye putting it back toghter would help him.She started to do the puzzle in the dark tears running down her cheaks.She dident want anything bad to happen to atem.
kira blinked "I think so...guess atem's mad.."

Ryou glanced nervously around, biting his bottom lip. He had a fear of being closed in in tight places, though he had been forced to get used to that. "Um... shouldn't someone let them out?"

"Payback?" kira said.
"well...that too.." kawi smiled.
Ember continued to do the puzzle,oddly good at it,as if somthing was guiding her.

"Uh... right..." Ryou glanced outside the store, at the passing people. "I want to go outside really quick. Just... just need to be alone." He slipped the shirt on, running his hands through his hair. Vadin gave him a suspicious look, but didn't comment.

Kira blinked "alright.." she said.
soon ember had about five pieces left in the puzle.Grunting softly in annoyence she wiped away the tears running down her face.She was now serching for the last piece.Getting up she serched.soon she found it.she sliped on the piece falling back and hitting her head on the ground.the piece flew threw the air and landed right in the puzzle.nowthe puzzle was complete.

Atem was still stuck within the item, finding that he wasn't able to take over his temporary body, no longer being attached to it. He instead found himself slightly linked to Ember. Unsure if he should try to reach out to her or not, he remained silent. Ryou nodded his head, then left the store, putting a hand to his forehead. He bowed his head slightly, dodging other people as he left the mall, standing outside the doors, glad for the fresh air.

ember sat up and rubbed her head.She looked to atem still unmoving "please atem wake up.." she shook him gently frowning fighting back the tears. "god you cant be dead..."You could hear there worry and fear in her voice.

Yugi's head snapped up, his eyes widened. Atem had just sent him a mind link. "Oh, crap." He muttered, glancing towards the bathroom door. "We gotta let them out." He tried to hide the fear in his voice, hoping that no serious damage had happened to his yami.

Yugi quickly went inside, felt for his yami's body's pulse. It wasn't there, but Yugi wasn't too worried. All he had to do was put on the Millennium Puzzle and share a body with Atem until he could make a new body. He glanced up at Ember, who he noticed had been crying. How could he explain this? Maybe it was time to come clean.
