Caleb and his Marshtomp stared at Rei at his sudden reaction at the table. Marshtomp gave Caleb a look. Caleb raised an eyebrow at him before sighing and shaking his head.
"No...you weren't supposed to evolve today..." Caleb pointed out.
Oh.
Marshtomp went back to eating, looking as if he didn't have a care in the world.

Rei sighed. He knew he was in for it this time.
"Hey, Caleb, I've got another favor to ask. Can you help me evolve my Seadra? She's been nagging me to get around to it, but I've never gotten the time to bother someone again." He looked down at the Poké Ball which held his feisty companion.

Caleb didn't seem to confused by this request at all. Seadra evolve through trade after all right? It wasn't no big shocker that he was being asked after helping Rei evolve his Scyther.
"Sure..." he answered. He placed his Lairon's ball on the table.

Maddy woke up. She seemed to be lying in the upstairs hallway. She sat up and looked around.
"Is Dark throwing me out of my own room while I sleep, or something?"
She pushed herself to a feet and yawned. She then noticed something. She could move without her body screaming at her and could see!
"Finally! I'm all recovered!"
She ran towards the stairs and jumped onto the railing, standing on it and sliding down to the bottom floor.
"I CAN FINALLY GO SHOPPING FOR MY PARTYYYYYY~!" She exclaimed.

Rei thanked Caleb and did the quick trade-and-trade-back-again. The Poké Ball flashed and warmed, but remained intact. Once he completed the trade, Rei excused himself from the table.
"I'll be back as soon as I let her out." With that, he went to his room, placed his bag on the desk, and headed outside.
"Countess, can you go get me a towel?" The Zubat nodded. She flew off and hoped a towel would be all he needed. After a moment of hesitation, Rei tossed the ball onto the ground, and a very upset Kingdra shot a blast of water she had been saving since the afternoon. The nerve of him! Promising a sunset evolution and then leaving for that hussy, the Countess! It was always about her.
The force of the shot launched Rei off his feet and into the neighboring house.
"Augh! I'm sorry! I forgot! I didn't expect to be so busy!" She hosed him again with another blast of water. Soaked and immobilized, Rei was at the mercy of his vindictive Kingdra. After enduring twenty minutes of watery pain, Leviathan finally let up. Rei slumped to the wet ground, the feeling in his legs slowly returning. He pulled out the Zoom Lens, newly modified as an eyepiece for ease of use.
"So, you'll forgive me?" She huffed and hopped over to her partner, who attached the Zoom Lens to her head.
"What a mess... Well, let's head inside. I'm freezing, and there's food. I'm gonna go take a hot shower." He picked up the soggy towel that his Zubat brought him, sighed, and went inside.
"Oh, hello Maddy," he greeted as he climbed the stairs.

"Buuuhhhh...." Dark was currently laying on his back under the desk he was working at yesterday. The large stack of sheets were gone and the only paper left was one sheet covering his face.
"Ngeeehhhh...." He groans weakly.
Misery is currently bent over him and waving her arms in his face.
"(Hypnosis isn't working!)" She shouts telepathically to him. He hasn't slept since Saturday night.

Maddy walked over to Dark and Misery, her hands on her hips.
"I know a good way to make you fall asleep..." She said, gently kicking at the bottom of his feet.
"Seriously though, did all that paperwork need to be done that quickly?"

Maddy reached into her handbag and pulled out a bottle of pills with the label torn off. She popped the lid off and placed 2 pills in her hands. She looked to Misery.
"Let's try and force these in him, shall we? They should clear things up."

Rose and her Persian were standing outside of Aqua's base watching passer-bys, her mind traveling back to the final battle against team flare, particularly to Xerneas, and she wondered if she'd ever see the legendary Pokeon of life again. It certainly was an amazing experience for her. Way cooler then possibly hearing what might have been a moltres once.

Maddy woke up suddenly, sitting up on the couch. She was back at her house in Lumiose and there was decorations all over the floor of her living room.
"I FORGOT ABOUT THE PARTY!"
Jumping to her feet, she began to rush around her house, hanging up various decorations and then running to the kitchen to prepare other things. She then took her TADS from her pocket and began to send a mass text to everyone in Team Aqua:
"Hey, guys! Come to my house in Lumiose City. I figured we could have a party to celebrate kicking Team Flare's a**! Dress nice and bring food or other goodies if you want to!" Attached to the message was a detailed set of directions for finding her house once they entered the city.
"I'm sure I'll have everything ready by the time the first guest arrives!" She said, forcing her TADS back into her pocket and getting back to work.

Dark appears at Maddy's house soon after the message. He was wearing a short sleeved black button-up top with a short sleeved plain white shirt underneath. He was also wearing black pants and his typical gold triangle shades.
"I'm always down for a party."

Receiving the message, Rose went inside and changed quickly, then got her Mime Jr to teleport them to Lumiose City. She picked up Mime Jr and followed the instructions to Maddy's place where she knocked on the door.
She was wearing her pink felt hat with a matching pink artificial flower pin, a pink over black tie-neck blouse with a white tie and buttons, a white and pink pleated kilt skirt, white knee socks, nice black and pink high tops (shoes), and she carried a nice pink tote bag for her Pokeballs since this nice outfit didn't really have anywhere to stash them, and on the bright side it did match her outfit anyway.

Maddy heard people at the door and panicked a little. Food was still cooking in the oven, which was fine, and her house was decorated and drinks were laid out on the table, but she had forgotten to get dressed!
"ONE SECOND!" She called out as she rushed past the front door and ran upstairs to her bedroom.
After a few rushed moments, she opened the front door to let her first two guests into the house; Dark and Rose.
Maddy was wearing a black, open-back, dress that cut off around mid-thigh height. It was secured around her waist by a very dark purple sash, that was tied in the back. Her hair was straightened, so it seemed longer than usual, reaching down to the middle of her back. Instead of wearing her eye patch, she had simply styled her hair so that it covered the left side of her face.
"Well, I'm glad you two showed up first." She greeted her guests. "I think Sycamore and his two aides will be arriving soon and it would've been awkward by myself."
She stepped aside so they could enter her home.
She had acquired a few strings of multicolored party lanterns, so they were currently lining the inside of her house. It provided enough light so that the room was a dark, but not too dark.
"Make yourselves at home."
