I think they were called Beast Warriors or something.
Optimus Prime was a gorilla and Megatron was a T-Rex...

He be a dragon. A DRAGON! ;3; *pets him* Well... he's in Super stage now so he looks more humanoid than dragon. I would have taken screenshots of him in his earlier stages, but the idea didn't come to me until a few moments ago. =u=; Oh, well.
It's from a very old PlayStation game called Dragonseeds. I'd be very surprised if any of you actually know of it; not many people do. You breed dragons and have them fight against other dragons as a sport. There's a bit more story behind it, but it's battles and training dragons for the most part.

Then it's kinda like Monster Rancher, right?
except instead of monsters of all kinds you train just... dragons... and they wield weapons...
The only monster that has weapons is the Dullahan and it is awesome~

I personally haven't played Monster Rancher, but from what I've heard, yeah, it's similar. Aaand posting this before I turn in for the night. I almost felt guilty having to kill this one. 'xD
