Celestia Whitesword Oh yeah. Does Jaden have a Sith name, or is such needed? Not yet. Technically he's still an apprentice, but he's Ferno's apprentice, which means he's like maul. He needs to go through his Sith test... hence the licker...

ElladanKenet Actually, they never used the scanners in Episode 4. Before those two even got the chance, the group jumped them. Smuggler holds don't fool scanners, and Han knew that. You can actually have hold that are scanner resistant but they are b***h to get a hold of and pay for. So basically you need the right connections because no one is legally going to install those for you. Also you wouldn't be able to get a big enough one to hide a whole crew in. You can't take up much space either because customs officers will notice those things if they are not well hidden. Now don't tell me you still plan on trying to get shot by every spacer in the galaxy, because if you keep trying this plan of your's, you will not be shown mercy by anyone.

Here is my ending argument to the vibro cutlass debate.
Many variations of the vibro-blade exist. Swords, pikes, knives, and axes all consist of a basic design. The hilt or handle contains a mechanism that causes the blade to vibrate at an incredible speed. This makes the blade red-hot, causing even the slightest glancing blow to become a gaping wound. The design is very complex and most, if not all, vibro-weapons have Cortosis particles "woven" into their construction. This makes the blades resistant to blaster fire and small damages that may be inflicted on a blade. This Cortosis weave also protects against sparring damage with lightsabers to a limited degree qouted from Wookieepedia.

What debate is this?
And how does that affect your having one? You do realise that in order to deflect a blaster, you must be faster than the blaster (impossible for those without the force) and more importantly, to deflect the lightsaber you must be faster than your opponent (a high unlikeliness).
Let's put it this way: If you're using it to go offensive, I don't care. But if you attempt blocking a lightsaber or blasterbolt with it, I'm going to pretty much call a godmodding attempt, because in all essence, your character has neither the training nor the needed skills to do such a feat.

Mortals can not deflect blaster weapons with any other type of weapon. Only Jedi can deflect anything. You cant get a regular sword blade infront of a blaster fast enough to deflect the bolt. Nor can you deflect a bullet with a sword or most other chemical projectiles. Its ludicrous.

But if you have a Sith sword, that's a different story. No its not. Not in the least. NFU's cant deflect ammo hurled in their direction with any type of sword whatsoever. Sith Alchemy just protects a blade from the unique plasma signature of Lightsabers, thus allowing them to duel jedi effectively. Theres no word on them being able to deflect blasters on thier own. Force users can deflect blasters and other projectile weapons with swords and such but thats a Force Skill, not the strength of the weapon involved.

A sith sword can be made to disperse heat effectively, i wouldn't see how it may not reflect the bolt, but it would absorb it.
