"I guess I better be on my way." Pen gave her tired smile and scracthed the back of her head. She stood back up and gave a bow to Waffle's dad." Nice to see you again sir." She then turned around and made her way out the door.

"Well, alright. Thanks, Pen" Waffle said with uncertainty.
Koteki gave Pen a slight smile when she greeted him.
After Pen left, Koteki sat down next to his daughter and pulled her close to him. Waffle closed her eyes and sat down on his lap, curled up like a ball almost. Neither of them said anything for a short while.

Skotti Gallows Skotti opened the envelope and looked at the money "Guess I can tell Rikka that her tuition just got paid in full" he said. Luciano clenched his jaw, seeing the money that came from Mason Ricci made him a bit upset. Knowing Mason, it was either 'I need a favour' money, or it was Blood money- probably had someone killed for it. But, he saw that Skotti was semi-happy so he didn't say a word about it. Luciano just smiled and then he nodded, "Yeah, I'm sure she would love you forever." he grabbed his share of the money and then put it in his pocket, making a mental note, " Return it to that son of a b***h."

"I feel guilty though, Ms. Cordell and the Don did ask us to do this, even if it is not from them, it does not seem right to take it" said skotti.

"Take what?" Pen had been passing by when she overheard the conversation. She leaned in the doorway looking perplex at both the boss and Luc.

Skotti though quick "A vacation! the don said that we have been running ourselves ragged, so he is putting us on mandatory vacation, it just does not feel right, sabe and all" said skotti.

Luciano looked over at Pen. He stood up and then he took out his wallet, he was going to use his own money to buy dinner, "Order anything you guys want." he gave his wallet to Pen and then sat so that he was facing Skotti.

Pen looked a little taken aback with the responses. Skotti seemed to be hiding something and Luc acted as if he wanted to get rid of Pen in a hurry. Looking down at the wallet that was forced into her possession she looked back up at the two.
"Yeah, but we sure do need some planned down time." Her tone sounded wary as she spoke. "I hope pizza is alright with everyone?" Her eyes rather squinting hoping a better explanation was to be given.

Waffle opened her eyes again and looked up at her father.
"...so what brings you here?" she asked.
"Mn...got shoo'd away again. Ever since we got home, your mum's been..... obsessive." he replied, looking away a little.
"That's kinda vague."
"I know."
"Well then, what kind of 'obsessive' are you talking about here?"
Koteki started to think hard of whether or not to tell Waffle what was really going on.

Luciano nodded, "Pizza is fine. Get as many as you guys want- I want a Cheese and Pepperoni, and Michelle likes the Vegetarian special." Luciano stood up again, patted Pen on the cheek and then he said, "Also, ummmm. . . You guys can go get some sodas with the Pizzas, if you want?" he looked back at Skotti and he said, "I'm going to my room real quick- putting a shirt on." he patted his bare torso and then left the room, but came back a moment later wearing his Jacked-Up t-shirt.

"O...kay. Um... I'll just get on that then." Pen said after Luc came back down, still sounding suspicious about this whole thing and they way they were acting. However remembering that she was talking to the heads of the gang, if there was something she needed to know they would tell her. Otherwise she wasn't high enough to know all the time what was going on.
She left them with an awkward bowing of her head and went about the HQ collecting orders. "Still odd though, I have to say." she muttered

Nah, I need to tell her the truth for once.
"He already hauled Sabe to the castle infirmary and dragged almost all of his tomes from his room there. He vowed to not sleep or eat until the moment he brings him back. I'm concerned for your mum's health, and I have a feeling that trying to bring Sabe back would only end in failure for him.
Waffle's expression flattened out.
"So he's trying to do something about this?"
"Saying he's doing 'something' about it is an understatement. Even I have a hard time explaining it. All that I'm getting out of this is that it might turn out to be in vain."
Waffle once again reverted to a near-crying state.
"If you're just hanging around to get my hopes up and then crush them, then leave!" she said, getting off of Koteki's lap and lying back down on the bed. Her father looked down and sighed.
"I don't get how you would come to that conclusion, dear. I never did that and never will do that to you."
He tried to begin rubbing Waffle's shoulders to calm her down, but she only swatted his hands away.

Luciano closed the door to Skotti's office and before he could say anything, his mobile phone began to go off. His phone read, "Capital." he raised his eyebrow then picked up, "Hello?" he looked to Skotti and then put it on speaker, a woman's voice said, "Hi, I'm calling to confirm an appointment for Mr. Skotti Gallows and Mr. Luciano Aguierre-Cheverria with Mason Ricci at 11am." Luciano clenched his jaw and then he said, not giving Skotti a chance to say anything, "Yes. We made an appointment." he said to the woman, then she replied back, "Alright! He will be expecting you two at 11am! Thank you!" then they hung up. Luciano closed his phone and then clenched his jaw again.
