Best Buy is most often the best place to buy anime, though their selection is rather lacking. However, the most popular place to buy anime over here is Suncoast/FYE.
Personally, I like to skip the high prices and go to used game stores. That's where I got Lain for $10 and Samurai X for $12. cool Game stores are like the thrift stores of anime/games. I also found Disgaea in one of them, but it was still expensive.. $40 or so. crying

Little Indigo Best Buy is most often the best place to buy anime, though their selection is rather lacking. However, the most popular place to buy anime over here is Suncoast/FYE.
Personally, I like to skip the high prices and go to used game stores. That's where I got Lain for $10 and Samurai X for $12. cool Game stores are like the thrift stores of anime/games. I also found Disgaea in one of them, but it was still expensive.. $40 or so. crying Best Buy here has a bigger selection than any of the other stores, including the nearby Suncoasts and Media Plays... in addition to the fact that they average out at about 5$ cheaper per item. I check the local used sources, but in general, unless you're looking for the last popular thing that people just got bored of, you're not gonna see much.
