Don't bring a sword to a gunfight.
On the same vein, don't try to use a longarm rifle against someone standing next to you.

EDIT: I might also note that while Ryugi attacked you so quickly, your armor, arm, etc was still heavily damaged by that attack, and he was able to interrupt you before you could shift your eye, or call your crystal thing back into combat or whatever.

Um... well, one thing, how are you sending that cleave attack at me this time? The same as the last time? Diagonally right to left downwards again?
And, by the way, the eye can automatically compensate for excess light, if you'll read that particular part of the profile.
