China supports Australia, because Australia has the minerals China wants. China pays well for those said minerals.
Now is hating herself more.

Oh dear god.
Oh god.
My nose.
It smells like... like a combination of rancid piss water pissed after drinking an ocean of piss, sack-sweat, parmesean cheese, dog fur, and deer s**t.
I hate ******** deer. I hate deer-repelling barriers.

It must be nice to live in Minnesotta and not New York.
But hey. Prices don't change from city to city in my country. We got a Federal tax, but we don't tax our food.
See, in Australia, the price of necessities like food and utilities is very low. That's so that everyone can live at an excellent standard of living. It's why we're in the top 10 countries on the HDI.
I don't mind paying a couple of hundred bucks more for an iPad back home in Australia, because I know that I earn enough to easily budget for my daily necessities and then get the luxury goods I want.
Take the Eastern Seaboard. Very little agriculture is grown here, so food costs a fortune. It's pretty tough to even imagine buying good quality fresh food on a minimum wage up here. Let alone buying stuff which is organically grown or certified fair trade.
But back home, (where I never earned less than $21 an hour in my whole working life) buying good quality fresh produce that met my personal, enviromentally responsible standards wasn't a problem at all, I could afford to do it very easily. I never ate food that wasn't organically grown.
And here is the sucker. I lived right in the city. My buddies who lived in Sydney and Melbourne didn't pay anymore for their groceries than I did.
Sure, I paid $99 for a pair of Levi's instead of $40. But big deal? My cost of living was low enough to let me throw my money away on plenty of frivolous s**t.

It's because of China that I can't play as a panda in World of Warcraft.
I am sad.
