You had reach, you had a bladed weapon, your mask is apparently armored, and as far as physical ability goes I'm pretty sure that if I asked "what's your sign" you'd respond with "greater than". Yes. The Riot Guy How far from the ground is that slash? Bout a foot and a half or so. Like I said, ducking under it at that speed and closeness is damn near impossible. Especially when you consider how much time it would take to move your body into a position that could avoid it. In the amount of time we're dealing with, your only real option is to try and block it.

That thing does look like it can hurl a waterballoon capable of denting a mountainside... Whatever. Anyways. It's a mobile suit-looking robot. It throws waterballoons. Hell, it could probably defend Aekea from incoming attacks as well, unlike the other weaponry which are just giant cannons. I LOVE IT! x3

Hoo boy... is the energy blade slash capable of being stopped and forced with or does it just dissipate as soon as you block it?

The Riot Guy Hoo boy... is the energy blade slash capable of being stopped and forced with or does it just dissipate as soon as you block it? Quote: Ragnarok Attacks – (4 Vorpal Slash – Ragnarok releases a superheated slash of energy that cuts the air in twain as it moves. The blade is capable of cutting through heavy defenses and armor for moderate damage to the target inside. If used against an unarmored opponent it can heavily damage an opponent, if not be fatal. Luckily, the attack is easy to dodge, being a single slash. Named in honor of a blade said to destroy a powerful and formidable beast. In this particular case, it isn't easy to dodge, despite being a single slash, as Ryugi put alot of energy into it. So, to answer your question, if you try to stop it and force it, especially with that arm of yours, you won't have a bionic arm left to make use of anymore, as the attack will destroy it, and will continue on to do massive damage to your body, but not fatal. If you try and stop it with an attack like a psychic wave or force, it will cut through it to hit you. And if you try to use your power over heat/ice to stop it, that will fail as well, since it is already launched, and the air is actually the thing attacking you as its being cut in half. Needless to say, Gene won't know ANY of the above mentioned content since thats OOC knowledge. In short, you have really no chance to avoid it due to time constraints, and if you block it, you'll still wind up taking quite a bit of damage from the attack, and possibly completely destroying your bionic arm, since I'm assuming you'd be blocking with that, or a magical attack of some sort. Now, don't get me wrong, there ARE some ways you might be able to deal with the attack, so it certainly isn't an auto hit or insta-kill or anything like that. I can think of at least one way a person would be able to deal with it, but I won't say. I'll leave that stuff up to you.

Healing powers aren't outlawed, but unless you're using them on others in battle, they generally won't earn you many friends. OOC speaking anyway.
