With little going on, Sage began wandering around the forest. As squirrels congregated around him, he began pulling pancakes out of his sleeves. Now, if someone were watching, they could tell that he couldn't have that many pancakes up his sleeves unless he was doing something special. And he was. Or, more precisely, his shirt was.

Yuki appeared in a tree behind Sage, her legs hanging limp off the branch she was laying on, and one arm hanging as well as the other gripped another branch near her. She watched Sage for a bit handing pancakes off to squirrels... a lot of pancakes... Huh...
She moved her body so her legs hugged the branch as she swung down to look at Sage while upside-down. "Why hello there."

Sage tossed the last pancake to the squirrels, then turned to face the upside down yuki. " hello....oh, I have been working on that Gateway thing you did with spiritual energy....would you like to see what I've managed to come up with?"

"Mmmh..." Yuki thought for a moment, then grabbed he branch, letting her leg's hold on the branch loosen so she could flip down straight and land softly on her feet. "Why not?"
She crossed her arms, watching Sage and waiting for him to open said gate.

Sage nodded. He then clapped his hands together and faced an empty place. His third eye opened, and the air began to shimmer in front of it. The shimmering spread out, in a cone shape. It ended a few feet in front of him, roughly the size of a door. Within the shimmering, small sparks of energy ran around. They would jump from shimmer to shimmer. Soon, a small hole appeared in the shimmer. Instead of being able to see the forest through it however, you could see a hazy image of a different place. One with buildings made of brick, and a man sitting on a porch with a shotgun on his lap.

"The Hell is that?" She asked, finding the gate not only did not look like anything she had previously seen... but that was defiantly not Soul Society; nor Seretei. "Where does this go to...?" Was her first question as she stepped back a bit. Unstable gates did not sit well with her.

Sage shrugged, " last time it showed an underwater city....and water started pouring out. Looks like this place is above ground...want I should open the gate a bit further? let you stick your head through and take a peek or something? Or should I let this one break down and try again?"

Sage sighed and let the gate slowly wink out of being. He then looked to yuki, " well it's pretty good considering I had to figure it out using a different form of energy....what with your fancy spiritual energy...Adjusting techniques between energy types is haphazard at best. I'm probably going to have to customize it with constructions of ectoplasm or something...."

Sage chuckles, " That's not very helpful....no advice? how did you get your gate stable? hmm? that would be more helpful than just a directive of 'go work on this'. Now, if I were polishing an old technique, that would be helpful...but this is a new one...so...how did they teach you the gate thing?"

Ishira Tsubasa (( heh the only reason we lost students in the Hikari dojo were due to the switch and because one quit the guild... It wasnt the lack of advertisement, i make sure to talk to my students outside of the rp... -.-; )) Ishira sighed and nodded. "They left as Tutsumi left.. Q wanted to learn other elements and Hoku... there were some problems. Q said he would return when he could." Ishira also ignored the other people around her. Tut and Gil had her attention and would until they left her. Ishira hoped that wouldnt be soon.
"I've seen all I need to see here,.....I'll be heading back to the dojo now,....Would you care to join me?"

"Uh..." She looked up in thought for a long moment before looking down so him. "Mine is a separate version in a way as well. Usually a gate is brought up by spirit power and a zanpakutoh is used to to unlock it.
'They had me imagine the exact place I wanted to go and force spirit energy into a certain area in front of me. Then a gate would appear and I would have to unlock it somehow.
'Hence the Zanpakutoh. But that will only lead you to Soul Society or... here. I say... since you have to create the gate itself, try and imagine what it would look like to make it appear, then fix it upon a certain location. It will take a very steady mind though and you will have to concentrate a lot..."
Of course... she was just guessing. She could not remember the days when she was being schooled and such.

Suddenly Gil's expression turned dark, and his smile disappeared,......He'd felt another surge of that dark energy from before,.....It was only a small pulse, but now he had pipointed it,.....Without a word to Ishira he disappeared,....
He found himself racing throught the forest seconds later,.....He could feel the residue weakening and accelerated even more,.....Then only moments later, he was somersaulting into the air,......Still airborne and inverted, he looked up to see a young ninja and Yuki standing below,......Instantly his eyes focused on Yuki, and before he knew it, one of his kunai was flying toward her,.....

Yuki noticed the new presence immediately and heard something flying through the air. With a snap her hand came up and caught the kunai in its ring.
She looked up at the man with a quirked eyebrow, spinning the kunai in her hand. "What the Hell is u're problem? Neh?"
