Jonah Hex Well, don't walk on any black adders till yore shoes are re-placed, pup. And as a tip, not a good way tuh make friends, startin' by drawin' a pigsticker on 'em like thet. Hearty handshake's good enuff. ::Offers hand::Ah'm Jonah Hex. I must apologize again. My last encounter with men touched by the Fey have not been kind, and I presumed too much. I have much to learn of this age before I bring further shame to my King's house
*takes hand*
I am Sir Justin of Avalon, Knight of Arthur and Ward of Galahad. It is an utmost pleasure to meet you.

Jonah Hex Yuh'd be best tuh ignore thuh whore. She's awful lippy. A whore? I believe I am familiar with this word. In Arthur's time, women were not turned away for their forced employment. Nor will Sir Justin! Accompany me when I leave tonight, my lady, and I will offer you what hospitality I can. I will accept none of the customary payment. Instruction in the ways of this world would more than suffice!

Ystin y Avallach I'm afraid I am unfamiliar with this context. Merlin has granted me only a rudimentary grasp of Man's current tongue. Please tell me, what is a Siegfried und Roy gay? *Harley pulls out her sock puppets of Apollo and Midnighter from... somewhere and begins a puppet show from behind the bar.*
Midnighter: Apollo, you look faint, is everything alright? Apollo: I... I don't know Midnighter I just looked deep into your eyes and I got this funny feeling in my stomach, it's... it's like butterflies. *Apollo swoons into Midnighter's "arms"* Midnighter: It's called love, Apollo. Apollo: Midnighter, do you love me? Midnighter: Yes Apollo, yes I do. Apollo: Kiss me, Midnighter. Midnighter: With pleasure.
*The puppets start snogging and Harley begins making horrific noises to simulate it.*

I believe I understand now. Lancelot, on occasion, took one of his pages to bed. Does this make him a Siegried und Roy gay?

In the high days of Camelot, relationships between members of the same sex were not seen quite as negatively as what I see now. They were not given the same level of respect afforded to a man and a woman, but intimacy between two males or two females was not uncommon. I know of few who have not enjoyed the company of their fellows.

I know of few who have not enjoyed the company of their fellows. If it weren't for the lack of indoor plumbing, Camelot would have been almost a eutopia. Around here you have to be all discreet about "enjoying the company of your fellows" and only a select few are allowed to be open about it. Rather silly, but then what isn't around people that dress like this?

Oh, good lord. Harley's teaching the knight about the manners and behaviors of the modern world.
Sir Justin ought to visit MY city. That'll be quite the eye opener.
