Gargis I watched two movies today... whee 1. Ebola Syndrome... A nice little horror with rape and making hamburgers out of humans. Pretty funny too... 2. Cannibal Holocaust... A very good movie, with lots of nasty stuff. Only really bad thing to think abuot, is that the animal killings were actually real stuff... Right, well they sound like crap. Guess I wont be watching them anytime soon.

Isn't that illegal? o_O It is now... But I guess not at that time. One of the actors actually puked from watching a turtle-scene, with a neat zoom into the inners of the turtle... Most animal death were real in early italian horror. Not anymore, and that's good. And on a side-note: It was movies like this that inspired the early black metal, like Mayhem, Darkthrone etc. They were illegal to show/sell in Norway, but they got hold of them, and got inspiration from it...

Gargis And on a side-note: It was movies like this that inspired the early black metal, like Mayhem, Darkthrone etc. They were illegal to show/sell in Norway, but they got hold of them, and got inspiration from it... And that's another reason to add to my list of why I can't stand most black metal.

When I listen to Black Metal I do it because of the atmosphere; to create illustrations in my own mind, instead of looking as stuff the same way as the people who made the music did. I really don't care what they use as inspiration - and I furthermore strongly disagree with many of the opinions of people in that genre - I'd rather be an individual and make my own mental images, if you get me. *_* So yeah, therefore it doesn't exactly sound extremely compelling to me.
