Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."

[Pebbleheart's eyes glittered as she locked her gaze with Swallowkit's bright blue eyes. Her heart pumped with such joy, of experiencing what's it's like to become a mother. She looked up at Hauntednight with a loving look.] "We should take the kits outside for a bit." Pebbleheart suggested. [She slowly got up on her paws, feeling a bit weak from her pregnancy. With her long sandy tail, she signaled her kits, who we're only the size of her ankle, to follow her outside. She picked up Siegekit by the scruff gently, feeling the soft texture in his fur. She gave Valorkit a welcoming look, showing that she's welcome to play with Shadekit and the others. When she made it out to the clearing with her kits, she placed Siegekit on the warm ground, and settled herself partially on the side of her body, using her long tail to pull Siegekit closer, feeling protective over her son and other two kits. She gave her kits a bit of a worried look.] "Only play in the clearing, don't go far away now." Pebbleheart warned her kits. [Her ears perked up as she noticed the lack of preys in the fresh-kill pile. She let out a concerned sigh, knowing she should ask Galestar if they can start a hunting patrol. But what if Hauntednight is busy as well? Who is going to look after the kits?] _________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________ [Shadekit's eyes glittered like his mother's, as he heard Valorkit's enthusiasm.] "Wow...your parents must be as pretty as you.." Shadekit said, in amazement. [He then snapped out of his fantasy, as he shook his head with such force, his face burning with embarrassment.] "I-I mean...t-they must be g-g-good parents...." Shadekit muttered, feeling his face burn more. [His ears then flicked up as his mother allowed them to play outside. He gave Valorkit an exciting look.] "C'mon Valorkit!" he mewed cheerfully as he dodged outside. He took in a breath of fresh air, smiling happily at his mother and nodded to her rule. Shadekit then turned his green gaze towards his sister and Birdkit, who looked as cute as Valorkit. Shadekit felt his whiskers twitch with shyness, too nervous to talk to the cute kit. He looked away quickly, not wanting anyone to see his silly expression...especially in front of Valorkit.]

[Valorkit's dark ear's flicked with humble embarrassment at his fumble. Her blue eyes softened as she watched him shake his head and stutter to catch himself. She let out another one of her amused giggles before his mother, Pebbleheart allowed him outside. After she received a look of acceptance from the queen she responded with a huge smile and a bounce in her step. She hopped past the entrance, following Shadekit's trail. Valorkit's boldness grew as she let her fluffy pelt brush against Shadekit's, feeling a sudden spark at the tips of her fur. It caused her little form to tingle with energy. She didn't stop next to him, instead she rushed into the center of camp, yelling back to him with squeaks of playfullness, "Bet ya' can't catch meee!!!"]

[Shadekit's dark, tabby fur perked up at its ends when Valorkit made contact. His whiskers twitched with nervousment and he felt his face flush with anxiety. His eyes then filled with joy as he heard Valorkit's playful words.] "You better run!" Shadekit teased, as he ran after her. [Shadekit giggled joyfully as he ran after Valorkit. He then caught a glimpse of Birdkit and then started to stumble. He focused on Valorkit's shiny fur and ended up tripping, doing a couple of summersaults. He shut one eye in pain.] "Ouch.." he hissed to himself. [Shadekit's eyes shot up as he noticed something he didn't like. His mother, Pebbleheart, pulling Siegekit closer to her warm, sandy fur. Siegekit was close to mom than anyone else! Shadekit felt his blood boil with jealousy and anger. Without hesitation, he marched over to the two, puffing his cheeks out a bit in anger. His fur perked up with a bit of envy as he focused his tough yet innocent green gaze at his brother.] "Siegekit, that's my spot.." he mewed, in his little kit voice; Shadekit tried to hide his envious tone from his brother, who is actually pretty intelligent and can detect anything suspicious.

(I decree that Valorkit also gets a kittencrush on Siegekit surprised !)
[Valorkit squealed in a laugh as she continued running, pouncing around teasingly. It wasn't too long before she heard a few thuds, she turned around with her darkly colored ears flattened to her lightly colored fur. As soon as she opened her maw to call and ask if he was okay he was padding with purpose towards his mother and brother. Her eyes sparkled slightly, he was cute when he was angry... 'VALOR! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! TOMS HAVE COODIES AND OTHER GROSS STUFF!!'] She shuffled her paws slightly as her thoughts reminded her what her dad had told her in a dream. he-kits and young toms are only to be playmates, no more than that. No matter how handsome, or cute they look they're still disgusting, coodie filled birdbrains. She shifted her weight from side to side with uncertainty... Shadekit couldn't be bad... he was way too nice.. Her ears flattened further to her skull, but pa said not to be fooled. She stood there with her masked blue eyes staring at Shadekit as he confronted Siegekit. Her blue eyes widened slightly as her gaze stretched over her friend's brother's light colored pelt. Her voice rode on the breath that was taken from her, "Woah..."

Siegekit focused his attention to Birdkit and Swallowkit who were playing a game. He would play with them but he didn't want Shadekit stealing his new spot. He looked to his mate, concern flashing in his eyes. Hauntednight mewed gently.] "How about I got get some fresh-kill for the clan. I'll take Snowcherry with me." [And with that Hauntednight got to his paws and called Snowcherry with a flick of his tail. He waited for her by the camp entrance.] ~=============================================~

[Shadekit let out a small growl, his eyes turning into a dark shade. His envy increased, when he noticed Siegekit notice Birdkit. For some reason...Shadekit didn't like this, even if it's a she-kit he doesn't know. Shadekit didn't want to look in front of Valorkit either. Then that's when he let out another growl, as he pushed his mother's tail farther from Siegekit, headbutting Siegekit farther away from mother.] "No! It's my spot!" Shadekit growled furiously, in his squeaky tone. [He then bit into Siegekit's tail, but then felt his face flush with embarrasment, noticing that his teeth aren't fully grown. Which means, no pain was affected on Siegekit. Shadekit felt stupid in front of all three she-kit. He then growled loudly as he jumped onto Siegekit's back, causing the two to roll on the dusty ground. Without his fully grown claws, he kept slapping Siegekit, growling while he did.]

What would it take for things to be quiet? Quiet, like the snow... And I know this isn't much but, I know I could I could be better...

♪[I padded after Birdkit, a playful smile on my face as I grabbed a small maroon leaf, pawing at it so it flew into Birdkit's face. I ran into Shadekit and Siegekit on my way, pain surged through her head as she started to mewl.] "Mommy my head hurts!" [I then sat down at my mommy's paws, fur hot with embarrassment as I figured out I just whined like a baby in front of all my friends, I felt glomped. I looked really young in my state, my little folded ears complimenting me.] ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Find your way into my heart. All stars could be brighter... All hearts could be warmer.... What would it take for things to be quiet? Snowcherry Where has my heart gone.

[Valorkit shuffled her paws some more as Shadekit pounced onto his brother. A small gulp cleared her throat as she stared at the two cute he-kits fighting. Her paws wanted to go and stop them but her brain wasn't sure- she might embarrass herself. Her bright blue eyes flickered slightly as Swallowkit ran into their fight. Valorkit let out a tiny sigh as she padded her fluffball self to where they all were, her friend pinning his brother down. Valorkit stood next to Swallowkit, nudging her shoulder softly with her nose, "You okay?"]

His ears perked up with great concern.] "Sis is hurt?!" Shadekit squeaked. [He frowned at Siegekit, clenching his teeth a bit.] "Next time I won't hesitate to hurt you!" Shadekit warned. [Shadekit escaped from Siegekit's grip and hurried over to Swallowkit, with great concern in his eyes.] "Swallowkit! Are-" Shadekit bit his tongue, as he turned his tiny head to notice the unknown yet cute she-kit, Birdkit. [Shadekit felt his face burn with embarrassment but looked away quickly, not wanting her to see his foolish expression.] Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart looked up at her mate with shocked eyes.] "But Hauntednight, I-" she then stopped as her mate left without any exceptions. [Pebbleheart let out a grin of amusement, watched as Hauntednight took great responsibility. She then frowned a bit, feeling that she should start her role as deputy very soon. Pebbleheart let out a shocked look and little gasp as the two kits we're fighting.] "Shadekit! Siegekit! You stop this instant!" she warned. [She then looked down at Swallowkit, who seemed to wince in a bit of pain. Pebbleheart licked Swallowkit's head rapidly, worrying over her daughter.] "Swallowkit! Are you okay?" she asked her daughter with such frantic tone. [She let out a frown, mainly at Shadekit.] "Shadekit! There was no reason to start a fight with your brother! Your going to be staying in the nursery until next daylight comes out! As for you, Siegekit, if your brother comes out makes sure you tell me." Pebbleheart said with an angry tone. [She let Swallowkit down gently and picked up Shadekit by the scruff, bringing him to the nursery. She frowned down at the kit, who had an embarrassed look, due to Birdkit and Valorkit.] "Think about what you did." Pebbleheart said, as she went back to Swallowkit and pulled her closer to her paws. [Meanwhile, Shadekit had his ears flat against his head, feeling nothing but embarrassment and envy that Swallowkit was near mother. However, his ears perked up as he glanced at Birdkit.] _________________________________________________________

Shadow looked back at Snowcherry with such happy eyes.] "Y-your having kits?!" Shadow exclaimed. "Snowcherry..i'm so happy!" Shadow purred as he pressed his muzzle against hers.

I was given a second chance I'm not sure I deserved.
[My green eyes took in the whole scene, I smiled slightly to myself. I noticed Shadekit looking at me, so I bent down on my stubby legs and nudged Swallowkit gently]
"Hang in there, I'll be right back,"
[I straightened up and padded over to the nursery, my calico tail stuck up in the air, waving with excitement. I bounced in and sat next to Shadekit]
"You look lonely. It can get pretty boring in here," I mused, curling my tail around my paws, cocking my head to the side.

[Valorkit had backed away from Swallowkit to avoid getting run into by Birdkit, who seemed to be oblivious to Valor. A small huff of irritation was released, it was uncommon for something to get under the kit's fur, but Birdkit managed to do so. She wrinkled her nose before her normal, joyous nature set in. Her bright blue eyes watched as her friend received his punishment of going back into the nursery. A clever thought ran through her small cranium and a small smile slid across her face. She turned her head to Siegekit and strode over with her lightly colored tail waving out behind her. She glanced at his amber eyes and stood next to him, making sure she was noticed this time. "You okay?" Her manners scolded her and she spoke up again, "Oh, I uhm, don't think we met yet.. I'm Valorkit, what's your name?" She sent him one of her most welcoming smiles and sat down, even though her fur was boiling.

She dropped it in the fresh-kil pile, happy to be of service to her Clan. She sighed. Sure, she's become an apprentice but all she really did was hunt. With a sigh, she trotted away from the fresh-kill pile and towards the nursery. She poked her head in and brought it back in surprise as she saw all of the kits wrestling and playing. Shaking it, she peered back in.] "Would any of you like me to fetch you some fresh-kill?" [she asked. It would be something to do other than go out hunting again. Anything but that. She'd already been out twice.] "I'd be more than happy to get you something. You must be hungry." [she insisted. Please! she added silently inside her head.]
