Luciano set the manila envelope on Skotti's desk and he said, "Cordell gave me that a while ago. . never got the chance to give it to you." he took a seat, clenching his jaw for he knew not what was inside of it. He sat straight, and then, once again, Cordell called- only this time it was on Skotti's office phone.

Skotti looked at the envelope, then up at luciano, then picked up his phone "Hello?..." he asked.

"Captain Gallows," Cordell said, "how are you this fine evenning? Is Commander Luciano with you?" Luciano nodded at Skotti, letting him know to tell Cordell that he's there.

Waffle looked down again.
"Right." she said, seeing how Pen had a point.
She was zoned out for the most part, but a tiny black box hidden on the bookshelf across the room caught her attention. She tried to figure out what it was from a distance.

Pen smiled and just sat looking at the floor zoning out to the memories in her head. it just seemed like yesterday that scarfed, up tight, whipped, elf had can out of that very small orb.
She turned her to Waffle to the magi focusing on something. Pen snapped out of it and asked. "Whats on your mind now?"

Waffle didn't pay attention to Pen's question, but instead got up from the bed and walked over to the bookshelf where the tiny box was at. She picked it up and felt the outside of it.
A velvet box? How come I never saw this before?

Pen watched Waffle get up and towards the bookcase. She waited for a moment hoping Waffle would come back with an explantion. However she notice The magi holding something rather small. Certainly not her orb or blanket.
"What do you got there?" Pen's tone was now slowly returning to her more normal speech.

Waffle had a feeling that she would regret opening the tiny box, but curiosity was gnawing at her head. Pen's question only fueled the fire.
"I noticed a box on the shelf that I didn't see before..." she said.

"Put your phone on speaker." Cordell said. Luciano sat back and prepared for this little something that Cordell was about to say.
After Skotti put the phone on speaker, Cordell then said to the gentleman, "Now. . Luciano, open the manila envelope. Both of you will find money. And yes, this is a bribe. . but not from us. We don't bribe. The Don wants you two to go on a special mission. . but not right now. The Don wants all of you to have a break. We hear you've been through a lot."

Pen fidgeted on the bed. Though she was very curious to what the box contained, it might not something Waffle should see due to the situation. She did share this room was Sabe after all and could have possibly belonged to him. Who knows what he would hide from Waffle. Pen had a thought.
"Um maybe you weren't suppose to find it." Pen said rather awkwardly fighting the urge to open the thing herself.

Skotti nodded even though he knew cordell could not see it "yes ma'am, thank you, will we be informed of our mission now or closer to the time of?" asked skotti.

Pen got up fro the bed and stood in front of Waffle looking at the box. The box definetly looked it would contain what Pen thought.
"Maybe its better we open it now. Who knows it could be very important." Pen didn't sound very confident.
If that it what I think it is then Sabe not being here is going to be even more terrible to bear. We might had added another wedding to be part of...

Waffle looked at Pen warily, then back at the box. She thought for a few minutes over whether or not it was a good idea to open it.
"I don't know, Pen."
"Here, you open the box and tell me what's inside." she said, handing the small box to her. She turned away, as to not see it if Pen did open the box right away. Part of Waffle wanted to see what was inside, and another part did not.
