Rocky was spinning in his stool quickly; too quickly in fact. A few seconds later, he was on the floor on his back. "Owwww.... Hey look! New people! Hi there and welcome to the High Tail Cafe!" He stood up and brushed himself off. "You guys want anything?"

Rika finally got off of Kai sat sat down at the bar. She glanced up at Rocky and then suddenly leaned over the counter and sniffed him! She looked back down at Kai, who was catching his breath on the floor. "Hey Big Brother! This guy smells like cookies. Can I keep him?"

On steps as silent as hooves would allow, the small figure of nearly all white made her way inside, looking left to right in concern.
"Is this place....Appropriate for newcomers?"
The girl asked, wondering if she should of found someone to assist her first before entering.

Rocky nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Well...Oh, welcome to the HTC, miss! Sure, come right in~" He walked over to her and said, "I'm Rocky and I'll be here if you need anything, okay?" Trying to be as friendly as possible and descreet, seeing as he had read her mind as soon as she had walked up the steps.

At the sight of another, the girl placed both paws on her cheeks and edged backwards, tail down.
"Oh, goodness! I didn't realize someone was here at the moment..."
Lowering both sleeve covered paws to her dress, the white chimera did a proper curtsy, summoning her courage to smile as politely as possible.
"Thank you though....Sir..I uh...I am Rena, and it is a pleasure to meet you. Do you...Know a lot about this place?"

Rika pouted over Rocky's denial to be her pet when she noticed the cute Chimera girl enter. "Hey Kai Onii-chan! Look at her. Isn't she cute? You should ask her out". No sooner had she said that, kai whapped her across the head with a paper fan. He looked at the newcomer and at Rocky "I'm so sorry" he apologised. "My little sister is a tad... strange".

Blinking with pale blue eyes as another voice, actually more then one, caught her attention. Rena turned and bit her lower lip with round front teeth, shyly glancing to the floor.
"I am not offended, no...No need to apologize on my account...But...H...Hello to you..."
Fidgeting from side to side on cloven hooves, the girl tucked her dress down so that her large chest could sit more comfortably against the fabric. Taking a deep breath, the chimera girl continued, voice quiet as she had yet to find her nerves.
"Do...Do you come here often? I'm...Rena by the way...It's nice...To...Meet you..."

"My name is Kai Ryushin" the golden fox introduced himself. "this is my first time here, but I think I'll be a regular". he poured himself another drink and offered one to Rena. "As for what I do. I'm a music teacher at a local university".

Rocky chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Uh, it's cool, Kai. I've seen...more eccentric personalities around before, hehe..." He turned his attention back to the chimera and bowed to her cutriously. "I'm Rocky LaRouge, a travenling sword-for-hire, I guess. Pleasure to meet you ma'am." He materialized a small flask full of a special concocion of juices and took a sip from it, exhaling a thin cloud of smoke in the opposite direction of Rena. "Well, I'm basically a regular now. I'm living here with my mate, Yue." He pulled a small wristband from his pocket, slapped it onto his wrist and instantaniously changed from Khaki shorts and a white shirt, to his usual black pants, shirt trencch coat, and fedora. "You need anything, miss?

Derrik, hardly able to manage simply trudging up the steps, pushed open the entrance to the cafe. He took a shallow, tentative step into the familiar venue, and was immediately greeted by a draft of cool air which helped to comfortably contradict the humid outdoors. Doing what he could to stay out of the limelight, the purple and grey raccoon slunk towards the bar. Most furs would be a bit boisterous upon their own returns, but not Derrik. He timidly took a seat at the glossy counter top, paws shaking, and called softly to Rocky, "Hey, wolfie. Could I get a coffee, here?"
