Hope blinked and tilted her head as her ears twitched before she lightly jumped off the cart, running after him. She blinked, looking curiously at the tree. "Wh-what is it..?" she asked in her quiet voice as she tried to see what he had mentioned.

he pointed to a message carved into the trunk of the tree.
it seemed to be written in a language that was unknown to most of the people in the city.
"its written in the old tongue......only the fancy mages at teh tower know what it says ....but its aparently a beautiful poem from the emperor to his wife." he said with a smile seeing Hope eagerly taking a look.

Hope leaned forward a bit to take a closer look, squinting as she tried to read it. "Hmm..th-that's very sweet of him to do this for his wife..." Hope thought that over as she reached out to softly trace her fingers over the carved bark.

"Go get something to eat?" She repeated, "If you wanted something to eat then I'm more than happy to cooking something for us, besides, I don't have anything nice to wear." Most of her clothing was torn pratcically to shreds from rough housing with her brother and occasionally her cousin when she came to visit them. The only thing good she had to wear was her work clothes and now they weren't any good becasue of the blood stain on her back as well as the small hole.

fan was embarrassed he didnt so much want to eat just be with her.
he didnt see any point trying to be subtle.
"i-i dont really want to eat......t-to be honest i j-just want to stay with you...." he said red as a tomato

he started to climb up onto the tree and sat on a low hanging branch. it was a perfect spot just big enough for two to sit next to each other.
"Come up here it makes the view even better" he said with a smile.

Hope blinked and looked up as Gwendar climbed, tilting her head for a moment. Her ears twitched before she lightly scaled up the tree, sitting beside him. Hope looked around, staring at the beautiful view. "W-wow.." she murmured quietly.

he didnt know what to say. he never had a girlfriend before and Angelic was close enough in his point of view.
"w-well we could do a-anything you want......i mean if you want to go home thats o-ok. i think your cooking is better then most places anyway." he said embarrassed.

"i know isnt it beautiful." he said as his hand slowly made its way onto Hopes shoulder.
"its places like this that make you realize how lucky u are" he said smiling at her.
at that moment a leaf gently fell down and landed softly on Hopes head.
Gwendar didn't notice it he was to busy looking over the fields of grass and flowers.

Hope nodded quietly, her tail lightly swaying a few times when she felt the warmth of his hand on her shoulder. Her face started to turn a bit red then she felt something on her head. Whatever it was it was making her ears itch. Hope reached up to lightly scratch one of her ears when she felt something. She blinked then gently grabbed it, bringing her hand down to look at it. Her head tilted a bit as she studied it for a moment before she reached over to gently tug on Gwendar's sleeve. "H-hey Gwendar.." she murmured as she held out the leaf to show him.

he was quite surprised.
she was holding a leaf.
"oh i see your holding a leaf....you know what they say if a leaf falls on your head true love is in the air" he said with a smile.
he didnt realize that the leaf may have in fact fallen on her head.
slowly he finally got the point.
"did that leaf happen to fall on your head by any chance?" he asked with a smile.
"becuase if it did i might just have to kiss you i dont want to break superstition." he said looking into her eyes.

Hope blinked a few times, her face turning red as she stared at him back. "I-it d-did.." she murmured before swallowing hard: she was suddenly very nervous, and she had forgotten all about the superstition.

he took one deep look into her beautiful eyes and leaned toward her.
his mouth slightly open waiting for her to meet him half way and kiss him back.

Hope shut her eyes, trying to keep her breathing and heartrate under control: she wasn't doing a very good job. She gave up and took in a quick breath before letting it out, leaning up to place a sweet, gentle kiss on his lips.
