"Yes" he nodded. He was still a bit in shock with that alignment

Chao barely managed to muffle a laugh at Rabid's flabbergasted explanation.
Reid watched on quietly, he had no idea about the lifespans of squirrels or vampires, he was just curious to understand what the combination meant.

Ike huffed and approached one of the lighted columns, gently pressing a hesitant hand to it. For some reason, groping shiny columns didn't seem completely safe. Especially when one signified light, and he didn't know which it was.

Both collumns turned in 2 lights as before, the one being Light was quite taller than Time "It seems we'll be having an ellusive squirrel"
He motioned for the ceilling lighs to turn on again before he explained "Before you have a wrong idea Light and Shadow don't mean good and evil. That comes from ones personality!" "Light elementals can often create illusions, among other things. You'll have to research on that since I don't know much about the theme"
"One other thing you can do is healing, but nearly every element has that ability. I'm part Light myself"

"Mmm.. illusions," Chao murmured with a fond smile. Illusionists were one of the few types of magic users she had encountered before and was actually comfortable with.

"Personality?" Ike huffed. He hadn't the slightest idea if having a personality corresponding to light was good or bad. He slowly made his way back to Reid and stood beside him.
"Anything else?" Rabid piped up curiously, absolutely beaming.

"Just the spell I promissed to Reid. And might as well take the chance to have a closer look at his alignment"
Again he kneeled down in front of Reid and put his hands on him, this time one over his heart and the other over his head
"... Done. Added a reversing spell in case your guardian needs for your items to be bigger, for cleaning and stuff. But they'll adjust to again when you want them to"
"As for the alignment, you will only be able to perform it on yourself and small items... at least until you get older" "But I don't think the effect will be permanent. A couple of hours at most"

"Thanks Jabir," Chao said with a smile at the mention of a reversing spell.
Reid held still as Jabir cast the spell and nodded at the extra information on his alignment, taking it in with a pensive frown.
"Does Jabir think I'll ever be able to make stuff permenent?" he asked slowly, wings flickering slightly.

"You're welcome"
"Only time will tell. But you'll have to practice a lot for that" he winked
"Well I think that's that. We'll be having a couple of teachers arriving soon though. But you'll be warned when that happens"

There was hope then! Reid's face, and torso, lit up in a determined smile as he nodded fiercely, standing up.
"I will, I'll practice loads," he stated, hopping into the air, landing neatly on his Mu's shoulder, not wanting to be on the ground more than he had to at this height.
"Teachers huh? That's good, I'll be keep an eye out for the annoucement," Chao replied with a nod and held an arm out to Rabid, "let us be off then, eh wifey?"

Rabid gave a quick nod and looped her arm around Chao's and began walking.
"Yes. Let's."
Ike gave Jabir a sad smile and a wave before bounding up behind Mummy and taking his usual place on her back...although his head was much higher now.

~A Follow-up Meeting~
Liam twitched nervously outside the office, staring at the door as if it was about to wrench itself from its hinges and violate him. He'd been standing there for a good ten minutes now, not quite sure of what to do.
Rabid had told him nothing aside from the fact that Jabir wanted to talk to him. He hadn't shot anyone, had he? He certainly didn't remember...
He took a deep breath and knocked lightly on the door.

Jabir opened the door "I was expecting you. Come in and have a seat" he said with a smile as he motioned him towards the chair in front of his desk

Liam nodded and shuffled in, taking a seat in front of the desk. He felt as if he was making one of the frequent principal's office visits of his youth.
Except the principal wasn't usually a large blue reptillian man.

Jabir sat in his own chair, head resting on the back of his hands
"Has either Malachi or Rabid told you the reason for me wanting to talk to you?"
