Stephanie couldn't help but laugh as she heard the list of things. Though not extremley intense, they were still daily things that made life more...."interesting." She stopped herself afterward, putting a hand over her muzzle. It wasn't her intent at all to sound harsh. "I-I'm sorry, I mean, those are.... hm." Her furred hand came over her muzzle, not sure if she wanted to dig herself deeper into the perverbial hole. "Getting chocked with like a mic or whatever is kinda serious to be totally honest."

"Hm? Oh, not that way." He said, thinking it over. "Okay, once that way, but all I had to do was spin in the chair the other way. What I meant was putting it down the wrong way and attempting to walk away. Turns out I placed my computer really securely, seeing how my legs went forward, but my head didn't. Not my brightest moment." He said, thinking about it. "I can only take comfort in the fact I was alone at the time." He scratched his chin a moment. "Hm. I wonder if that was before or after we renovated that house. Darn, it's been so long here that I can't remember much about it anymore. Kinda thought they were near useless memories when it came to being here in this world." He commented.

Margy couldn't help but snuff out a snicker that was attempting to sneak it's way out. It seemed that her opinion upon the fact that Soul's small acts of stupidity were serious was completely opposite from Stephanie's--especially since she was struggling to keep from laughing. "Soul-kun sounds like Margy." she said a second later as she snuffed out another snicker. "Margy is just a clutz and a space cadet that she always is running into things and tripping over things. Margy's friends used to call her a crash test dummy." she explained, giggling a bit more, as she took another apple and began to nibble at it happily.

"Nice." Stephanie said with a smile. "Well, at least you weren't the 'human wrecking ball.'" She said with her tounge stuck out slightly. "From age....seven to thirteen, almost every meal at our dinner table ended with me breaking something. Glasses, pitchers, dishes, you name it. I dropped it." She scratched her nose in thought for a moment. "Come to think of it, that's probably why we don't do pass the plate at our house anymore." There was seemingly comical a moment of silence afterward, Stephanie's clawed finger still at the tip of her nose.

"Nope nope." Margy said as she began to shake her head back and forth in response to Stephanie's 'human wrecking ball' comment. "Margy was never called that, she was always called mama's problem and heart attack special child." She gave a bit of a grin afterward. She seemed rather proud of that name strangely enough... "Margy was always wandering off and freak her mama out because she'd disappear without warning..." she stated. "Come to think of it--Margy still does." Margy gave a bit of a laugh a second later, before blinking a bit more as she stared at the apple which she had been chewing on, tossing it into her mouth and quickly chewing it up. "Thinking about mama makes Margy miss Ginko and Tootstie though." she said with a bit of a pout. Tootsie and Ginko were the names of two of her pets, a snake and a guinea pig.

Soul blinked a second. He reflected on his family back home. He wondered how they were doing after he disappeared. It had been a full sixth months... were they still searching? He kicked the floor a moment, thinking. "I..." He caught himself. Thinking of the world back home on Earth was a source of neverending sorrow. He didn't even have a way of contacting them. To let them know he was okay here. "...think it's time for bed. Real bed. It's the middle of the night, and I'm tired as all hell." He muttered, jarring them out of their thoughts. "It's best to come up with a game plan tomorrow when we've had rest. Stephenie, you can have my bed in the corner. Don't worry about fur and germs, I just changed them this morning. Margy, you can have the couch you're so eagerly taking up, and I'll take the floor." He eyes Stephenie a moment. He knew she was too nice to take his bed without at least a small argument. "Now I don't want to hear any objections, I'm fighting off the headache as is. I'll sleep next to the door." He walked over to the TV and turned the black and white static off, which filled the room with the glow of the white, flickering fluorescent light above them. The light switch was near the door. He walked to it. "Positions?" He said, allowing them time to get into their respective areas.

Stephanie lifted her finger, mouth agape in an attempt to object, but Soul was smart to cut her off before she could speak. She was usually set in her ways for the most part, so stopping her before she could begin was a good idea. Though her ears drooped for a second, what probably couldn't be seen was a small smile. "Thank you." She said, nodding her head shyly. Scurrying slightly, she got into the bed and situated herself into he covers, clurling up into a ball. She nodded as her face was smushed into the pillow, signaling Soul to turn off the light.
The light disappeared, causing Stephanie to flinch. She hated the dark. But as she strained to see in the dim light, suddenly everything became brighter. But it was a different kind of light....dusky. Like twilight, but it was still dark. For a moment she was confused, looking around the room with an expression of shock. Suddenly, with a small chuckle, she remembered what she was now. "Oh, right. Night vision." She said softly, and then let her head flop back to the pillow.

It didn't take margy long to get comfortable. Flopping over onto the bed, Margy rolled about for a few minutes, before snuggling her furry hamster face into one of the bottom cushions--seeming quite comfortable as she did so. "Sleepy weepy time for Margy." she said with a smile as she laid there, before sitting up and glancing about. It hadn't hit her until now...she didn't have fudge, her most treasure, sleeping buddy--and that alone made her sad. Giving a bit of a pout, she laid down once again. "Hopefully Fudge no get mad at Margy." she said to herself as she continued to snuggle into the couch, quickly falling asleep a few seconds later. Margy didn't seem at all bothered by the dark, but then again, she was the type that didn't go to sleep until late at night, thus she was used to it.

Soul waited until the he got the reassuring snored of both girls before he stood up and stretched. The floor was cold and uncomfortable, and either of them probably could of slept on it without trouble, but his short hedgehog fur had kept him from being free of it. Making a silent sigh, he snuck out without even a sound. He knew this apartment complex like the back of his hands. Almost every stair had an appropriate place to step on that would issue no noise. As he walked out into the city, he stretched more comfortably and took in the night air. He looked down one way, towards the more lively district, and down the other, the more residential. As he stood, he strained his ear for the night sounds, and made out shouts of glee, cars screeching, the general din of people and even a couple gunshots.
He rounded the block once, his headache not returning. In truth, it hadn't come back at all after the train ride, and had snuck a few pills before eating the apple. As he approached the doors again, he sat down outside, next to the pillar on the side of the door. Leaning his head back, he let himself think for the first time in many hours. Stephenie and Margy had been drug into his world, his new world. He was their guide, their protector, and at the same time, had no special abilites like the other two. He chastised himself another time for bringing it up. "No use being a little emo about it." He muttered, even though the thought was there. He came to the conclusion that he wasn't tired at all, and decided to keep watch. Rain sprinkled around him, and bounced off his smooth fur. Scratching his chest, he sighed. He actually really did like the rain.

((Augh, now I feel really bad for not making an argument. TTATT I sleep on the floor all the time, usually with just a pillow. I feew bad for making Soulie have lack of sleeps. *pouts*
Oh, and this post'll probably be like......three hours later maybe? Kinda a good amount of time later, so Margy can get some sleep time and Soul can get some alone time.))
"Ow!" Stephanie muttered as she sat up on the bed, one eye fluttering as the other was squinted in pain. Her eyes dialated, and began shifting around to see the culpret of her annoyance. Searching around the pillow, she suddenly spotted a large brown quill sticking straight out where her head had been. The brown dog let out a quick "meh" as she plucked the spiny hair out of the pillow and flicked it outward. Without another sound, she let herself flop face first back onto the bed, smooshing her face into the pillow. A silent yawn escaped her mouth as she turned her head to the side, but then she noticed something.
"Soul?" She whispered slightly, her eye still a little sore and watery. Wiping it again, she turned herself sideways, trying to see if she could find the hedgehog anywhere. Her ears drooped a little, which she reacted to with a blush as she put her hand over her ears. He was probably not far away! She empathised with him being so far from his family, not having people he knew around there, and she wanted to be there for him... But...maybe he needed to be alone? After all that time though, maybe he just needed a friend....
Stephanie growled under her breath in annoyance to her indecisivness and put her face back into the pillow, hiding how deep she was blushing. Back in the real world she could never really blush or tell she was blushing, but with this new form she could tell. And more than likley, everyone could see it too. She turned on the bed. Not sleepy. Turned again. Not sleepy. She growled again and sat up, looking at the window. As she rubbed her eyes, she admitted that she was indeed tired, but too consumed with her thoughts and, admittedly, feelings that she couldn't force herself to sleep.
The puppy slipped out of the bed as quietly as possible, tip-toeing by Margy on the couch. As she made her way to the window, she could see the rain coming down softly against the glass. To avoid more 'wet dog' situations, Stephanie grabbed a large blanket atop of the bed and covered herself almost completley with it. Giving a swift exhale, she opened the door slowly, and then dashed out before closing the door again.
"Hey Soul. Everything alright?"

Soul blinked a moment. He had dozed off a second there, or spaced out.He wasn't entirely sure. Looking at his watch, he noticed it was still way in the early side of the AM clock, and looked upon his visitor with confusion. "What are you doing up so early?" He asked, as if him sitting out in the rain was amazingly common. It fell down in warm patterns, and admittedly, he was soaked to the bone now, the rain much heavier then before. He heard thunder not far off. His ear twitched and he scratched it.
He let his mind refocus unto the task at hand. Stephenie had avoided his question with silence, and honestly, he couldn't blame her. What was he doing out here in a thunderstorm, instead of inside and sleeping. Coughing slightly to clean his throat, he leaned his head back to ease a small neck ache that had appeared when Stephenie roused him. "I'm fine, just... thinking." He said. "Because, well. How to put this. I'm not the most amazingly social creature on the planet. And I haven't really been talking to people - anthro or human - all that much sense I got here six months ago." He explained. He stood up and rung out his sleeves, obviously in vain. All it really did was make unattractive wrinkles. "And now I've got to sorta strangers sleeping in my house, one who is almost insane and the other wearing my blanket." He explained. "Which is getting wetter by the second." He noted. I guess it was time for laundry day soon anyway. He was down to his last pairs of... everything. "So... I guess I've just been thinking. I retract my earlier statement. I'm not alright. What I'm feeling is really a toss up right now between happiness, fear, and a whole host of other emotions that I'm not comfortable saying." He said, scratching his damp quills. He was ecstatic, at the same time sad. He was loving change, but fearing how it would effect his friends. He knew what happens. Their old lives were worthless here, and he didn't know what to do when that levity hit home.
"It's best if you get some more sleep right now. I'll be in sometime soon." He said, looking up at the sky. Rain speckled down, but he was glad none had hit his eyes yet. "I really love thunderstorms, so I'll be out here a little longer."

Out of the whole group, Margy was the only one who had yet to wake up and join the conversation that was going on. And seeing how she was such a deep sleeper, it didn't seem like it was going to happen anytime soon. Letting out a bit of a grumble, Margy sat up in her sleep and rolled over onto her side, before snuggling deep in between the cushions as she she did her best to get comfortable. Unfortunately, that position didn't last very long as she moved once again, and rolled over towards the edge of the bed. A second later, the sound of a thud could be heard as she rolled off of the couch and hit the ground--still very much asleep. She was a very, very deep sleeper. "...no wakey wakey yet." Margy grumbled in her sleep, as she began to flail about, trying to figure out how to climb back up onto the bed once again. "hmmm...?" Margy groaned a second later as she opened her eyes and began to look about the room. "...not awake..." she stated and simply climbed back up onto the bed once again, snuggling into the covers, before sitting up and beginning to feel around. "Right...no fudgey." she pouted, sitting up in a sleeping manner. She wondered if she could find anything else to sleep with. Fudge is going to be so jealous....if he finds out. she thought to herself.
Looking around the room, she gave a long yawn, before sighing a bit. It was so quiet here compared to her own house. It made waking up a bit strange to tell the truth. Sitting there for a bit longer, she flopped over and attempted to fall back to sleep, hoping that missing fudge and her pets wouldn't keep that from happening. Not to mention, usually when she woke it, she found it hard for her to go back to sleep, unless she was exhausted--which she really wasn't. Laying there silently, she stared at the cushions for a bit, her sensitive hamster ears swiveling and twitching in reaction to the sound of voices in the house, voices telling her that Stephanie and Soul were both awake. Now what does Margy do...? she asked curiously, as if expecting someone to reply to her.

Stephanie was, for once, silent as she listend to Soul. Her ears drooped. She could never imagine what it would be like to have no one there for her......To be alone.....knowing that even if she wanted to see everyone, it was totally impossible now. Though for the first few days she seemed to experience a little of it.....it kept ringing in her mind. "Six months."
Her face turned a bright red when he mentioned her use of his blanket. Though about to apologize, she was cut off as he continued. Her face showed the remnant of an inward smile. This was his time to talk, not hers. Unexpectedly, when he began to talk of......feelings he wasn't "comfortable" talking about, she began to blush again, and was a tad perplexed why. She tried to hide it by pulling the blanket tighter around herself, but she wasn't quite sure if it was very affective.
It was almost a bit saddening when Stephanie heard Soul say it'd be best for her to get sleep. Though this was very true, part of her really just wanted to stay and......actually, she wasn't sure what to do really. She gave a warm smile when he spoke of the rain, and finally got the courage to let out a small laugh. "It is beautiful isn't it?" She commented, talking more on the water instead of everything else of a storm. Her hair smooshed back into the blanket as she looked up at the sky, smiling. As the rain tickled her muzzle as it sprinkled down, she gave a small giggle and wiped the water off her nose with the side of her finger.
"Man, I wish I could appreciate storms more..... It's just the stupid-" Suddenly a terrifying roar peirced Stephanie's ears, with an explosion of light afterward. The first was enough to make the poor puppy jump, but the second made her give a pitiful 'YIPE!!' before retreating speedily back into the house with a light slam of the door. Shaking, wet, she stood in front of the door for a few minutes before realizing what she'd just done. Soul, the person who had pretty much opened up his home and everything to her, was now sitting by himself....in the rain. Because she was too much of a wuss to stay out there. She stomped her foot and was about to curse herself, when she saw the open eyes of Margy on the couch.
"Oh....uh....hey!"

Soul smirked as Stephenie ran into the apartment complex. He stood motionless to the thunder, and stared into the sky as a flash of Lighting struck the sky, a thunderous boom following. Leaning back against the building, he let himself slip down back to the ground as he stayed outside. He brushed off the water from his fur. He didn't feel cold at the moment, but he guessed when he got inside he would. He doubted he'd get sick, his over-fur wouldn't allow to much moisture to his his skin. A third Boom rocked the skies overhead, and he let his head slip back to watch the light show that flashed in the sky.

Margy's large round ears twitched once again at the sound of Stephanie's voice. "Heyoo." she said rather calmly as she stared back at Stephanie. "Margy no can sleep sleep--misses Fudgie." she stated as she stared, before poking at the couch. "Couch is very comfty--so not couch's fault." she said as she patted the couch's cushions, as if she was trying to keep from hurting the couch's feelings. "But moving past Margy." she said as she lifted her hands, before moving them in the circular motion, then moving them to the right. "Why is Stephanie-chan still away?" she tilted her head to the side. "Is it the thunder?" she asked curiously as she began to leaning over on the couch a bit more. "Is it? Is it?" she asked leaning over more. If she leaned over any further, she'd surely fall off of the couch, and with a loud thud with that.
