~Once more had Truinthil taken to wandering the hallways that he was limited to in this place. He looked bored. He hadnt been out in quite some time. There was really no need to go outside. Nothing to kill. Nothing to destroy. Nothing worth killing or destroying at least. He itched for a fight so much that his fingers would twitch from time to time.~

This place is so loathsome...Boring too.

~After a time though he begins to pay attention to his surroundings.~

Heh. Seems someone had some fun. Dead bodies. Heh. Guess its time I left. Let's see whats going on in the outside world.

~With that said, Truinthil disappeared from the hallway.~

Lucitiphian Gabriel

Guess I fooled em. *Gabriel frowned to himself and came out of his hiding place. Twi had come close to finding him when Gabe accidentally stepped on a weapon, but he'd recovered* Hmm Hmm hmm.... how unfortunate. *Gabriel had come upon Galette some time ago... and had given the body the honor of being in the place where Gabriel discarded a cigarette* Dammit, Galette. You had the Contact in your grasp and you let your entire temple slip through your fingers. *He grinned* Well then... I guess I can take the girl back if I need to then. But, first I need to find him..... *With that, Gabriel vanished*

Red flower pedals would swirl about in the air as a black horse drawn carriage was driven through them. It was Gankutsuou's carriage and today he looked to be touring the area. It hadn't been long since his and Griffin's arrival back to Earth from their short space voyage to find Bell. His sister was back on the planet, so the search would continue here. The carriage would slow to a stop about 30ft from the open gash in the temple's face. Bodys were still about, some feasted upon by local animals no doubt. Bertuccio would open the carriage door, and address The Count, whom was now staring at the temple, bodys, and surrounding area. "Will this place work my lord?" After a moments pause The Count would nod slowly. "Yes... This place will do, but first we have a little redecorating to attend to." With a nod Bertuccio would leave The Count's side. He understood well what The Count had meant and was now up in the head of the carriage with Baptistin, preparing to go in and move out the bodys. It would be a lengthy process but well worth it. Haydée would look out to the flowers in silence, this seemed a nice enough place if one didn't know its history.

After several days all of the bodies had finally been removed, and preperations for their burials had begun. Even those poor fools deserved something like that at least. By now The Count had been touring inside the temple, seeing where he wanted things to go, planning which walls needed to be knocked out, that sort of thing. Along with him was his female companion, whom also looked around the temple, not straying too far from The Count. Nodding slightly, it appeared that The Count was satisfied with what he had been seeing.

With the burrials completed, and the plans drawn up all that was needed now were skilled trades people. Once again The Count's black carriage would speed off in the direction of Twice Royal. This time Baptistin and Haydée would remain behind, 'holding down the fort' as it were. There was much to do, and it would take time and Twice Royal's muscle and workers. Lord knew there was no other city around with workers for hire. Heading towards the forest, perhaps The Count would catch a glimps of Griffin's sister Bell as she tried to make it back to the city. Being a kindly gentleman, and if Bell would allow it, perhaps he'd even give her a lift. Griffin would no doubt be pleased to see his sister safe again, that is, if The Count caught sight of her as his carriage crossed by the forest.

"Damn aristocrats," was all that Val muttered to himself as the full scope of the formerly glorious temple came into view. What did these higher ups think they were doing changes this place into something else.

Baptistin and Haydee would be able to discern a man who's build was hidden by a brown cloak draped around his front, back, and right side. What they could see of him was covered it faint, dirty-gold colored armor. His hair was short and vibrantly blonde, being more spikey in a unique way. His face also had hair in the form of a blonde mustache that trailed above his lips, and at each side of his mouth went straight down to his jaw line, then rejoined at his chin. Only Mastema may have had eyes more red than this man's.

His advance went unstopped as he approached the two guardsmen. He skipped the formality of greeting them. "Are you the dogs who plan to defile this memorial? If so then you have one chance to leave unconditionally." Words weren't his thing, which is why he kept his message short.

(( Just so it is known, I do have Kaiori's permission for this venture as she's not going to be using the temple for a while. This is only a temporary set up. Also my characters are very mortal, and have no 'abilities' as you put it. By the way, how would you have known they were remodling? All they did was remove the dead bodies and burry them. Nothing else was said to anyone else yet in character. I'm just going now in Twice Royal to see about getting workers to do some rebuilding and remodeling. There's no way you could have known, including your hooded characters. They were no where around at the time. confused ))

((yes, sorry Gan. I mentioned something to him in the OOC also. Hopefully he'll understand.))

(( sweatdrop I do hope so. I'd hate to loose my human and alien princess. She plays the harp wonderfully, and Baptistin is a wonderful chef. ))

Haydée was hardly a guardsmen, rather nothing like one. She was a beauty, a puppet, and likely nothing more. Baptistin would shoo Haydée inside, incase things became violent. The Count wouldn't want anything to happen to her. Stepping out to where the cloaked man could clearly see him Baptistin would make his reply. "Defile? Memorial? What are you talking about?" Haydée would peek out from within the structure, unsertain of what was going on. If needed, she would summon The Count back from where he currently was. The man outside seemed to think they were going to do something to the building, turn it into something it wasn't going to be, as such Baptistin and Haydée were confused.

Val was still unsettled. His weapon remained hidden under the brown cloak on his right side. His rather angry voice spoke again. Even so, he was examining his 'opponent,' and so far it seemed there was little to be concerned with.

"Are you really so blind? You've disturbed the resting place of hundreds of lost souls.... and for what purpose? Explain yourself now..... And do not dare try to trick me or you won't have a prayer if I return." His position never wavered, but at least he wasn't coming any closer to the man.

Baptistin was taken a back for a moment until he finally understood just what the man was talking about. With a look one might call slightly cocky, Baptistin would lighly toss a hand out infront of himself, leaving it level with the ground a moment later. "What? You've never seen people giving the dead a proper burrial before? All the damn animals had been pick'in at those bodies. Least we could do was give'em a proper place to rest." So it was a misunderstanding really. The Count had wanted the dead at the temple to have a proper burrial, and so they had. There was nothing malicious about it, nor was it done for any other reason than to let them finally rest in peace.

"Forgive my saying...... but shoveling dirt on someone isn't respect." He did have to admit it was better than the carcass picking birds, but Val was a far cry from letting Baptistin off so easily. It was a start at least.

"What do you plan to do this temple..... and on whose authority....." Even if he was a little less angry, his eyes didn't let up any with their glare.

Baptistin would look the man square in the eyes, he wasn't the badguy here, if only the stranger would realize. "Well this 'memorial' as you put it, is damaged. If its left in its current state, the damage will only get worse ya? Better to patch up the holes and preserve the building than let it go to ruin. Keh, and on whose authority? My master's. He would prefure this place kept whole. Likes places like these for some reason. Not that it's any of your buisness." Baptistin would point his thumb towards himself when speaking of The Count.
