Passion frowned at the other's reaction. It wasn't what he had expected -- not at all. He placed his hands on his hips, gray eyes focused intently on the other's expression. "Geez, you're weird. How could he possibly hate you? He never turned away the kisses he had with you, he didn't look disgusted... When, when I kissed him, he pushed me away, though he's known me for practically forever. So why do you think that might be?" Passion asked, a small grin on his lips. "I think you should ask him that. I really do."
He kneeled down by the other and placed a hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner. "And I'm not angry at you. I just value my friends too much screw this up entirely," he said, giving the other a small grin and a shrug.
--
Downstairs, Fever had barely moved. He was on the couch now, eyes closed, brows knitted together, one hand pressed to his forehead. He felt... horrible. He was a coward, he knew it, too scared to ever say anything to Pain. And he hated that about himself. But it was for the best, wasn't it? After all, Pain wanted guys like... like Lust, and like Passion.

Pain uncovered his face, wiping off his cheeks as he glanced finally up at the other. He was so confused, baffled to say the least, and whimpered as he saw the grey gaze staring back at him. His crimson eyes went a bit wide, and he sighed as he tried to lower his gaze, though his eyes seemed so captivating and so..intense. So, he just looked to him, his furry ears flicking as he heard every word clear as day. He sighed, shrugging when he heard Passion.
"I know but..i'm not used to having geunine attention. I just thought that he was too embarassed to kiss you. Hell i dunno. Half the time i wasn't watching. But..i'll ask him."
Pain said as he clutched to the end of his tail in his slim fingers. He would, even if he was scared as hell. Did Fever..have a thing for him? God would that be new. Fever seemed like such a quiet, honest male, one that he had never thought would have an intrest in him whatsoever. Confusing. He stood finally, and nodded to Passion, glad that he wasn't mad at him, and hugged him softly before heading down the stairs.
Pain sighed when he reached the bottom, his hands pulling and tugging tightly on the furry appendage. He sighed, seeing Fever barely on the couch, and paced around the ktichen before gathering enough guts within himself to go over. he sat down on the arm of the couch, poking his leg softly.
"Um..hey..how are you feeling? I'm..sorry for whatever i did, and i know you're upset, but i don't want you to be because i care about you and i'm your friend, and it makes me sad to see you sad too.."
Of course he always sped up and talked like an idiot when he was highly nervous.

Why had... Pain come down? Wasn't he supposed to be off... having... fun with Passion...? Fever lowered his hand from his face, his eyes opening as he sat up slowly. His cheeks were pale, the flush, for now, lost. He glanced over towards the other and shook his head slowly -- not as a response, but just to clear it.
"No, you didn't... do anything, it's alright.... And I'm not... sad..." he said, though that wasn't entirely true. "Just a bit... confused, I suppose," he continued, a very light flush on his cheeks as he once more glanced up towards Pain. He gave the other underling a small smile, having decided not to pry as to why, exactly, the other was down here. After all, Fever wasn't one to pry.
"So, if I'm not sad, you don't need to be said," he said softly, his smile reasuring.

Pain sighed, looking straight to him, his cheeks a bit flushed from the long winded, not to mention run on, sentance he had just spoken. yet, all he heard was more of, well, nothing. All he heard was that Fever wasn't mad at him, which was good and really eased his nerves, and naturally would have been content with that since he never wanted to push people. Yet, he was curious as he had always said, and Passion said to ask. And damnit, he was going to finally do it.
Pain pushed off of the arm of the couch, which was by his feet, and moved so that his light frame was straddling over his thighs. Not as far up as his hips, just over by his thighs and knees. Crimson orbs bore right into the ones of the other, and he sighed as he shook his head and placed his hands on his hips as Passion had done. He felt brave.
"I'm glad you're not sad, but..why are you confused? Fever, i won't judge you, you know that. But i can tell because it's been upsetting you all nite, all during that game. I just don't want to be in the dark..i want you to trust me like you trust Passion.."
He said softly, his tone tapering off as he sighed, and played with the end of his shirt, gazing at that before looking back up to Fever, hoping that it hadn't made the male mad, because he saw that yes, that could very well happen if give the right circumstance.

Why was... Pain moving over, on top of him? He felt the other's weight on his thighs, just below his waist, and his cheeks fired up immidiately. His blue eyes dropped down from the other's for a scant moment before the pale orbs rose again to meet Pain's crimson ones. He couldn't say it. He couldn't. Pain had shown that he prefured guys like... like Lust and Greed and Passion. And Fever really wasn't like that.
Or had he? Because Pain was down here now, not upstairs with Passion. "Because..." he began. He was finsing it incredibly difficult to speak. He had always been this way when it came to critical emotional moments -- unable to speak his true feelings. He swallowed slowly.
Fever sat up slowly, his eyes still on Pain's. He leaned forward, his movements still slow, giving Pain any chance, should he so want it, to move away, and pressed a soft, gentle kiss to the other's lips.

Pain sighed, not hearing any response, and he just looked more flush than anything. Maybe Pain was making him uncomfortable, and talk about something that he didn't want to. Pain sighed, and winced as he heard the voices flare oce more about how he was in the wrong by putting Fever on the spot like that. It wasn't what friends did. God he shouldn't have been so pushy. He sighed, his eyes lowering. Of course. How could he have been so stupid? Fever never pried into his life, and now he was making him uncomfortable by doing that to him.
Pain sighed, hearing him utter only one word, and then stop once more. Pain was about to say that he didn't have to, though he was stopped short, deffinately by something that he did not expect. At all. Pain was frozen to his spot, and hell he wasn't going anywhere, his eyes glued to the other's. When he felt the soft lips on his, he all but melted, and he placed a hand on Fever's shoulder, wrapping around his neck as he kept the soft, supple lips to his own. It was the same as last time, gentle, caring, not so harsh and animalistic. He was so confused inside, though at the same time he knew, and knew what Passion was talking about as well.
Of course it all came as a shock to Pain. Guys like Fever, genuine good guys, never took intrest in him. Not that Passion was evil or anything, but they all knew that his attention was fleeting. Pain wouldn't have gotten anything but sex from him, but at least he had shown he was honest and had shown Pain to someone who could. And for that he was grateful.

Pain... wasn't pushing him away. Not at all. In fact he had placed his arms around Fever's neck. The underling flushed slightly. Maybe... maybe Pain... could... like him. Maybe. Or... or maybe he thought it was... was like the game.
Though he didn't really want to, he slowly broke the kiss, pressing his lips gently against the other's one last time before he opened his eyes to survey the other's expression. He leaned forward slightly so he could nuzzle his face softly into the other's neck before his said, his mouth very close to the other's ear, "So you know... this... isn't... like the game.... It's not... just because... of some silly rule or something, because I really..." he pulled back slightly from the other, then, so that he could look him fully in the eye, his pale eyes shining with sinserity.
"Because I really... like you... a lot..." he mumbled rather shyly. He wasn't too good with this sort of thing, and he was hoping quite desperately that Pain wouldn't push him away -- that Pain wasn't just there because of the game.

Pain couldn't even think, and yet at the same time he didn't want to. His mind would betray him. The kiss was lovely, wonderful, everything he wanted and never got. Though he was still a bit lost, to be honest, the pieces were all beginning to fall together. He really was a bright kid minus the fact that at times, well, he did act like the stero typical dumb blonde.
Pain panted softly when the lips left his own, leaving a small tingle, something undescrible only because this was unlike anything he had ever experienced, minus the kiss that he had gotten from Fever in the game. He shivered involentarily as he felt the warm breath against his neck, which was highly sensitive, and a slow smile spread over his lips as he nodded in understanding. Pain looked to him, pale blue meeting light crimson, and he placed a small kiss to his nose.
"I know. The game ended. I lost, and forfeited. This is..real."
He said with a smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he giggled and leaned forward to wrap his arms around Fever softly. Pain didn't know that it had been possible for someone so pure and wonderful to actually have any affection towards him at all.
"Fever..i like you too. I'm just..not used to it. If i sent you signals that i actually...like getting used by people like Lust and Greed then i'm sorry..it's just that no one has actually ever told me that they liked me for reasons other than that. So, thanks."

((I feel like a hopeless romantic... ;3; <333 So lovely! Unfortunately, reed will be pissed! 8D;; ))
He could hardly believe it. Pain... liked him. Liked him. Not Greed, not Lust, not Passion. He liked Fever. The pale underling nodded to the other's words, a happy smile spreading steadily over his lips. "I couldn't... tell you before. I thought... because of how you were acting that... you liked... guys like them...." he said with an embarrassed flush. He leaned forward and pressed a small kiss to the other's lips. "I'm sorry for judging you before I asked... I was just so afraid of what your answer might be...."
He pressed another soft kiss to the other's lips, his eyes half-lidded. He felt incredibly... light. Like all the weight and pressure from supressing his feelings had been physically lifted from him, and not just mentally.

[ xD me too. ah, of course he will! in normal Greed fashion no doubt! :3 ]
Pain smiled, a bright, real smile. Not the facade that he always showed to try to get people to believe that he was when in fact, inside, he hurt. This was one of those rare moments where he felt finally free from all of those emotions, and allowed himself to shine through the wall he had crafted over the years, and built well. Pain sighed and nodded, laying down, his head resting on Fever's chest. He was so thin, but that was something that made Fever..Fever. He smiled. He wouldn't have the underling be any other way.
"no, it's ok, and i can..see where you'd get that. I've just never had anyone who's ever liked me for..me. They use me for a variety of different things, mostly sex, obviously. I thought it made me happy, but i always felt so lonely. I only liked them because i thought it was all i would ever be able to get."
Pain said with a small shrug, though realized that he was letting out more to him in the span of a few minutes than he had to anyone, ever, in his life. He flushed, but was glad since he knew Fever wouldn't judge him. And, he wouldn't use him. It was real. Pain giggled and kissed him in return, also pressing one down softly onto his chest.

Fever nodded slowly. He had never heard Pain talk so much about himself, nor had he heard him talk so... personally. It was almost... strange. But it made him happy to know that Pain felt he could trust him enough to let open like that.
"I didn't really realise how I was feeling towards you until... I saw you kissing Passion... I'd always seen you with Greed, I know, but that was like... a given. Just what was. But... but after everything... with... with Lust and all... I didn't want you crying again... over Passion..." he murmured slowly, a light flush on his cheeks. "And it made me... mad...." he said with a flush. Being angry always... embarrassed him. Perhaps it that was because he was so very rarely mad that when he was, he felt bad for it.
He nuzzled his face gently against the other's neck, his eyes closed. His arms had raised to clasp loosely behind the other's back.

Really, there were few people in the world that Pain trusted. He wanted to trust Greed, but he knew that it was almost impossible. The sin couldn't even trust himself, so there was no way that was going to happen. Pain always felt so lost with himself and in the house, since he just wanted to feel something of some sort. Fever was his chance for that, and he realized that Fever might just be the only one he did trust. Passion might gain his trust over time, since he was human, and he knew how it felt.
Pain flushed softly, not knowing that kissing Passion had made him feel so jelous and so mad. He should have seen it, though he had been so..blind. Pain now knew what Passion had been saying, and he felt glad for it. He was glad that he hadn't gone through with what he was going to do, and sighed as he smiled happily.
"Thanks. I just always turn to the wrong people, just because a moment of affection is better than nothing. But, i always felt worse over it. Oh well. I don't..have to worry about it anymore."
Pain said with a half hearted shrug. He snuggled against the taller male, sighing happily as his mood went from saddened to on cloud nine in as quick as a few moments and a couple of kisses. Pain still thought that it wasn't real, that it would be a dream, but he knew that this was going to be the start of something good, and for the both of them.

He brushed his lips lightly against the other's neck, the sensation of lips to flesh wonderous. He hadn't felt it be so... nice since... since way back then. The beginning. He'd always been to skittish around others, with their easy-as-you-please will to kiss and tell and have a good laugh over it rather than have any real feelings attatched. Now, with Pain, he felt so... calm. It was... strange.... but pleasant. Deffinately a good thing.
His lips were pulled up at the corners into a smile -- soft and genuine -- as his hands ran slow circles on the other's back, massaging away the tightness, or what there was left of it. He kissed Pain again, on the lips. He liked kissing Pain. It felt... nice.

Pain sighed, closing his eyes, though tilted his head so that his lips were in ready view. The kisses he got from Fever were far better than anything he had ever experienced, and he was addicted to them the moment he had felt the first. This was his drug of choice. Pain's tail flicked slightly, hitting against Fever's leg as he purred quietly, much like the kitten that he was. There was so much that he wanted to know about Fever, since really, he jsut realized that he knew almost nothing other than he got sick alot, and was good friends with Passion. And the stories, but that one that he didn't want Passion to tell was still poking at him, but he wasn't going to ruin the good thing he had now by asking. Fever would tell him things when he was ready, right? Pain smiled. He didn't mind. All that mattered was the present anyway.
Pain arched his back lightly, the small rubbing, and touches, felt amazing and ever so relaxing. He was tense, yet not so much as he was sure that Fever was, and made the mental note to give him a massage sometime. Pain giggled and leaned up to meet his lips, snuggling down against him shortly afterwards. He never thought that something as simple as kissing would make him feel so good. So fulfilled, even without the rest of the sexual activities. He was fine with what he had now.
Pain yawned softly, running his fingertips over the chest lightly, laughing gently, which blew a strand of platnium hair that was in his face.
"Want anything to eat? I can make something."
He asked quietly, not wanting to ruin the peace of the entire mood, but he felt so comfortable that he didn't know if he never wanted to get up. There were alot of things that went through his mind. Greed would obviously be pissed beyond words. Well, not if he didn't find out. And he wasn't going to. Pain could always get Envy to distract him, and if all else failed, then Pain would just have to do the job that was the job of an underling when the time came. It made him feel a bit sad, since there were so many pressures in the house that potentially could keep them apart. As much as he didn't want to keep it a secret, they would have to basically for their own saftey.

Fever was lying back down again, his clasped hands gently pulling the other to lay with him. He pressed a small kiss to the crown of Pain's head, his every moment soft and gentle. At the question, he shook his head slightly and murmured, "Could we... stay like this for a while...? While we still can?" Fever knew all too well that they wouldn't be able to keep their relationship in the open. Passion was the only one who knew, but Passion wouldn't tell, Fever knew, because when it came down to it, the ebony-haired underling was very fierce in his defence of his friends. But they had to keep it from everyone else -- particularly Greed. Greed would never allow it to happen.
Fever raised a milky pale hand to run down the other's cheek softly, his digits running through his silky blond hair, a light, peaceful smile on his lips.
