Behatzlacha-S Anghared Starwing Behatzlacha-S Angharad is a Welsh name. Care to explain? My great grandparents were from Wales, and it is my cousin's middle name (she is from the side of the family that still lives in Wales). Which I've always envied. So I made it my username. smile Wy ti'n siarad Cymraig? I went on a Celtic course and picked up Welsh very quickly afterwards. My grandmother and her brother are very... involved... in Welsh nationalism. And a friend of mine is a direct descendant of Owain Glyndwr. I unfortunately haven't picked up much Welsh. I only rarely get to speak to my cousins, and my mother and I don't speak to most of the family in America. (actually, they don't speak to us, now that my aunt has passed away.) I'd love to learn, once I get settled in my new apartment.

Good afternoon my dears! Quite regrettably, due my my current economic status and semi tropical conditions in which I find myself, I am unable to practice Steampunk in my daily life. However, it is a longstanding passion for which I admit a most unquenchable thirst. That is why I was so fervently compelled to join Anachronism, as a much needed outlet for my welling passions of industrial victoriana. I do hope you will welcome me into your lovely community, and I will do my very best meet your high expectations of style and decorum. In the mean, I will be lurking about the forums, exploring the intricacies of your little world, and familiarizing myself with it's inner workings. Cheers luvs! -Madame Plum

Hello, everyone. My name's Jenn, and I am sixteen. I absolutely love Steampunk, and that's why I am here! I've been fascinated by it since I was about thirteen, but now I am trying to make it a part of my life. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you in the guild and hopefully make some friends here. =)

Hello everyone.
My name is Devin, or Lysethiel(currently, might change name again, lol) I'm 27, live near and possibly in the future in the same house as, Anghared. lol.
I like the steampunk thing because of airships mostly, ever since final fantasy 2 with the airships of the Redwings, I've loved them. I've made airships with legos and pirate ship parts(back when the ship parts where two halves and you could actually be creative.)
When in middle school, I and a friend tried to come up with a working design concept for a fully functional airship, that was ecofriendly rather then a gas monster. We came up with a few ideas but never developed any prototypes, mostly because of money.
I like the style of furniture that steampunk encourages, preferring that my things have an aesthetic quality to them as well. Though currently this isnt the case with me. I dream big however ^.^

Hello! I'm Brittainy and I've been interested in the steampunk culture since I was in junior high but only recently have I decided to put that interest into practice so to speak. I enjoy reading about the lifestyle, looking at the fashion, and listening to the music very much which is why I absolutely had to join this guild when I stumbled upon it. Please be patient with me for I am not well informed on this culture it is still some what a mystery to me. However I feel that will change being a member in this guild. So here's to learning new things! Cheers!

Hello, Im not comfortable in giving my real name out on the Internet so you may call me Gothy, since its what others usually call me. Im legally 13 years of age and legally turning 14 on July 13.
I guess ive been interested in Steampunk, Anachronism and the Victorian Age since i was little. I dont know how the interest in it started, heck i didnt even know there was a name for it, but i always loved things that looked ancient and from the past. Every time i was at a thrift store, book store, or some yard sale, i would(still do) look for books that have an 18th Century or older cover. Kind of like the old Bibles, hard cover with yellow and old pages. I have actually managed to find many and love to read them.
I just love the Victorian Clothing, and i even write in ink sometimes since i managed to find old pens from the 17th-18th century. When im alone in the house i use candles instead of lighting to read or draw, light bulbs seem so weird to me, and they give me a headache. One of the movies i know that i didnt realize was actually kinda Steampunk was i believe Treasure Planet. One of my favorite and probably only Disney Movies i own. Im really interested in the Fantasy(hoping to be Reality one day) of Ships looking like Pirate ships flying in the air. Also that everyone still dresses in old time clothing and use old technology while everything is pretty advanced. Anyway before i start to make a novel of my introduction, i would like to say that anything else can be found on my profile. Although i havent updated it in some time so yeah...

Hey I'm Fenty and I recently became intersted in Steampunk through the AT forum. I'm still trying to figure out what steampunk means to me and right now it means displaying my interst through my avatar (which is way too stereotypical but thats eside the point). I also love art, apple cinnamon cheerios, and crude humor.

Hello there lads and lasses. The name is Beef, Beef Mancakes. I have been enamored with steampunk settings ever since I first learned of it. I sincerely hope that this place is active and will help to sate my thirst for steampunk lore.

Hey folks. I've been looking for a steampunk board for quite a while now. Unfortunately, there isn't really a lot out there so I decided after being gone for 3 or 4 years to try Gaia again. Looks like it was a good idea. ^^

Hiiiiiii I'm silk, I design steampunk avatars...usually subtle steampunk or dystopian characters, I also work on burlesque and fantasy type steampunks that go far outside the normal boundries.
I...abhor rude people...even if I am rude sometimes.
uhh.....and I dress in steampunk clothing to conventions, but I don't follow the lifestyle.

Hello. My name is Nao. ^^ I am a boy so don't get confused and think I am otherwise. I am a big cybernetic fan. Cyborgs and all that are my thing. Steampunk is cool as well. On my old account. I had a steampunk avatar.
Anyways, the name is Nao. You may call me Chibi though if you want.

It's a pleasure to be here~ My name is Annabelle, you may call me Anna or Belle. ^ ^ I'm facinated by the Victorian era, as well as Steam-punk, obviously, as I'm here. 3nodding
I enjoy writing, and roleplaying as much as I do reading, and passing time in towns.
