Ann thought about it, "Well there was this one time I went camping with my parents...and it ended with a wingless eagle... sweatdrop " She shook her head to rid the image, "Yeah, I don't think you want to know the gory details."
Ann also greeted the new first year, "Hello Von, I'm Ann! I'm a third year going on to my fourth year by next term." She shook her hand and whispered, "By night, I am...CATWOMAN!!!!!!!! *ahem* Just kidding, I'm also the head of Gryffindor House. Welcome to the loony-bin!" Ann smiled kindly.
"Kitty is absolutely right. We should be in the Hogwarts Express representing Gryffindor because it actually gets us points for the beginning of next term ((secret ^_~)),but us being here in the Common Room is an...illusion." Ann wiggled her hands and floated around the Common Room, "Aww, don't think I'm weird already...well I am weird, but I promise I won't spread my weird germs to you guys, too." lol

Schnerkel bounced as she saw Von enter the room. "Now all we need is for Erin to get here and my life will be completely and utterly complete!" Schnerkel breathed dramatically. But then she was distracted by none other than...catwoman! Or some other sort of creature that was floating around the room with wiggling fingers. Oh no wait, Schnerkel realized with a giggle, that's our Head of House!
"Well then," Schnerkel began curiously, "Should we just all quietly leave here for the term? Or can we pretend that we're some sort of Horcrux gone wrong where we look and act identical to the person that is in another time on the train?"
(Did that make sense? I'm not sure it did... ninja )

*slips off her shoes and walks into the common room* Wow! I see some more first years have arrived!Awesome sauce! Well, I have just had a long day! I think I'm gonna go and whip up a snack...in regards to easter...something colorful!

Siobhan laughed as Ann pretended to be an illusion. "That's alright, I've already got weird. Mine was hereditary, not contagious, though." (;P)
She turned her attention back to Schnerkel. "Do you know if Erin was sorted here, with us? We could get into all sorts of mischief- Er, I mean, studious activities!" she laughed.
She then noticed that another Gryffindor, Kaylee, had gotten the Charms Professor position. "Congratulations, Kaylee! I'm Siobhan, but you can call me 'Von,' if you like. It's great to meet you!"
Selene was in and out of the common room so quickly, Siobhan could only call after her, "Yeah! Happy Easter!" She blushed, and added. "To everyone, I mean."
(OOC: I've been on the train, too. Is that okay, or should I choose one place to RP for now and stay there 'til the new term begins? Also, can we post in Dark Red, too, or just regular Red?)

"Hey Kaylee," Schnerkel beamed as the older student introduced herself and answered her question, "Erin's one of my best friends ever." (Do I sound 11 enough? xd ) Then the first year turned to Von, "No she hasn't been sorted yet, I'm really nervous about it! Hopefully she's put in here too - this is where she wants to go. And we will have all sorts of fun together if she is!" Schnerkel couldn't hide the smile as she thought about things they could do.
Then she noticed someone making Easter food and decided to join in. Schnerkel wasn't any good at cooking, but she did have a bag of jellybeans that she could share, "Does anyone want some?" she asked openly.
(I'd love to post in dark red too!)

"We'll see if your friend will get in. Hopefully the sorting hat won't see if the Gryffindor House is too full...but then again, Ravenclaw is a bit big this term." Ann commented after shaking off her weirdness.
((You can post in any type of red that does not resemble pink. The Slytherins post in different kinds of green, why can't we do the same, right? Just remember to post in the house color or else the consequences.))

I'm sorry about this past week. My dad was home & he didn't get anything to take to the U.S until Thursday. *sighs* Then, me being a Sim-addict I just had to try out (finally) my Sims 2 Uni. expansion pack for the first time. smile Anyway.....just to let everyone know where I've been.
Btw: Anyone see the local ghost? Been waiting for him/her to pop out of the wall or something and scare the lot of us firsties.

((OOC: I don't know who to ask about this, but how good does an excuse have to be to not post enough? I only ask because next month is Script Frenzy [I'm a screenwriter IRL, by the way] where I plan to write a 100-page screenplay in a month, and I don't know if I'll also be able to make five posts. I'm going to try to get on every day long enough to check my PMs once a day, but I don't know... Anyone know if this is a good enough reason to shout in the Student Message Board?))

Kitty blinked, "Wait your a screenwriter? cool So you write scripts? confused If you're going to be gone or too busy to post (which amounts to the same thing) you should post in the student message board. And if you sign up for any classes, you should probably post in those classes (or pm the teacher) so they know and don't penalize Gryffindor because our students aren't doing their homework."
