And looked at the moon.[88] "I don't know. It was a pain in the a** to get anyone to let my father teach me some of the jutsues the Soshi know, and I've lived in the village my whole life. Maybe if I explain where my background is they'll let me learn at least one technique. If not, then at least I'll know where I come from."[49] She then raised an eyebrown at the part about some where where you could get extra arms. It sounded slightly painful, and hard to beleive, but she was already thinking of all the ways she could use something like that.[89] "Sounds interesting. We should check it out.... And what promise are you talking about?"

Kekkaishi smiled as he looked at her." i hope you are right i would hate to see you sad. whell at least you know most of the techniques of the Soshi now. can you imagine what your father and my father would say is they knew you know the air walk? he then focused on drinking his tea, leating the sensation of his lungs getting warm sooth him."you know the one abotu retreating if anything dangerus happens. oh yeah Kikkyo by the way i have heard of special armors and wepons. i think we should try to find some of them. it might give us an edge when fighting some of our supiriors dont you think?"

She laughed. "I think my dad would start to cry and put me and a death grip hug while yours had a heart attack. But that's just what I think. And hell yes you're keeping your promise. Like I said, I'll drag youout if I have to get you not to die on me. You know I will. And as to the armor, anything that may protect us in battle is always a plus to have. Although, it'd be nice f it was think enough to fit under our clothes without any ign it's there but strong enough to keep us safe. What kind of armor did you say it was?"

he smiled as she said what was likely that there parents would do." i think you are right. that and most of the people in heaven would owe me money. let me see the odds where 1 in all of heaven. so yeah i think i will be set. when we come back i will be the richest man in all of heaven. i cant wait. tough yeah the only person that bet with me was your father" kekkaishi rubed the back of his head as he laghed nervously." i do not know all of the armor i think they are said to be one of a kind. the one i am looking for i belive its called the armor of spawn." he began to look around in his bag for the list of the armors.

"Should I be surprised by the lack of people with any faith in me? No. It wouldn't be that big of a surprise. But shame on you for gambling. And bout me to bgein with. Why was I the only one not to know about this little bet that went on in the village?" She huffed and pouted a little as she sipped her tea. Not that it took much since the fullness of her lips ussually made her look like she was pouting all the time anyways. "Well, what ever. We'll find those armors some how. And we'll get them too. Even if we have to kill some one to get them. We are gonna be the best known out there, and everyone will want to be a Soshi."

" what? i am old enough to gamble, and me and your father did it to be able to give you what you deserve. it started when most of everyone tought your father was drunk. man they are stupid, i mean he started talking about how great you really are like always when he was drunk acted a little and bam everyone was making the bet.thinking of all the things they would make me and your father do."he laghed a little bit as he tought back on it" whell if we told you they would have said we helped you. thats why i brought you here so that you would learn by yourself. when we come back we will show you to the rest of heaven showing them your own might."

Kekkaishi stood up once he finnished eateing, getting ready to live." yes i know we will hav eto wrk hard, but we will find it. i have a a hint as to where they might be. there are two hammers that are brothers. i think we shoudl start there they would allow us to cross dementions." he showed her some of the info on the hammers." the one i whant to find for you i belive it has something to do with the moon. i do not have all of the details. all i know is that they say they where made from some stars."

She rolled her eyes. "Don't get into debt with any more gambling. You know how much I hate it since my dad and I had a bit of a rough patch since he lost a bet once. That's how I know working in the tea house sucks like hell." She sighed. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess this was the same night my dad had a little too much and I had to go get him, and in the process I scared everyone there because I'd learned a trick that makes your eyes look like demon eyes and I growled and hissed at all of them for mocking my father." She laughed a little, remembering the terrified faces of all the drunkards who had been in there and how a few even said they came close to wetting themselves when she had done that.

She heard him mention the armor he had in mind for her and looked up at the sky after reading what he had to show. "... An armor made of stars called moon. Sounds nice. And definitely sounds like it'd fit me just fine." She stood up and dusted the dirt off of her before retrieving her jacket off the tree branch it hung on. She slipped it on and then slipped her mask into place.

kekkaishi laghed" yes of course that night. but he didnt have to drink at all. he did it because my father was paying. that was a good night. i remember laghing a lot." he put on his back pack ready to go.he smiled as he said this to her." can you imagine that? a weapon made from one of the very stars that look down upon us. in the right hands. in our hands imagine all that we can do? man i sound power hungry. but at least in our hands we can keep each other in check. in other peoples hand it might go unchecked."he looked down at his hands. making fist as he tought of his fathers words as he repeated them." my family tough gifted and tough powerfull. our blood is one of sarow for we never have unleashed our full potential. and if we do, we might think ourself's god.

he looked at her." kikkyo, can i trust you to stop me if i ever go crazy? if i ever go power hungry stop me make me powerless do whatever you need to to stop me. becouse i am like my father and i might go crazy, mother stoped him. can i trust in you to stop me? no i whotn ask. i just whant you to listen to me. one of these days i might fall from heaven.if i ever fall and become a missing nin. it is your duty to hunt and kill me. at least thats what i whant."

he smiled weekly as he lead her trough the forest. he had mark the path to and from that par tof the forest by letting his clones place one of his clay models from his house. he picked them up as they whent along" i really dont mean to be mean or anything kikkyo. but thats the fate of soshi males who become powerfull. or at least thats what i have gathered. he kept walking thinking. i am sorry about what i have said.but i cant continue unless you know why i was so happy to meet you. kikkyo i hate to say it but if i go bad i trust you to kill me. what a horrible thing to say trusting my fate to her. isnt that a selfish thing to do? but no i think she is the only one i can trust. to complete this. she is the only one with enough resolve." ah here we are" he said as they made it to the middle of town

"We are Soshi, the best of the Vllage Clans. And we are of Heaven, the most noble name for a village. I think that something like that should mean we're inclined to keep people in check using something like that. To say we are gods is to mean we have a big ego, but those who have big egos are the ones who get themselves known. And with me helping to try and get this village and clan's name spread out, of course we're going to end up with a big ego. But I guess it's for that very reason we need to learn to keep each other in check."

She sighed and could feel her face go pale. The thought of killing her only friend and family member was something she didn't want to have to promise doing, but what choice did she have? If anyone would have to kill Kekkaishi if he became a rouge, then she'd rather it be done by her hand than anyone else's, including his own father. She didn't beleive anyone should have the right to take him away from her besides her. "As much as I don't want to promise this to you, I will. If you go crazy, I'll tie you to a tree with razor sharp iron wires until you gain your had. If you go evil, then I'll make sure to be the one to take your life. After all, I could never live with myself if anyone else did it." When they arrived in the village, she glared at the lager groups. Still adjusting to be in groups with anyone eccepting her was rough, so she hated walking in the streets. So she could still talk to him without annoyance, she went to a building, walked up the side a little bit, and started to walk along side him, completely parrallel to the ground as she strolled along like it was no big deal.

She sighed and then glared at the people gawking t her. "What are you all looking? Haven't you ever seen a Soshi walk on air before. Losers." She frowned under her mask as some of the people started to get into groups of worried looking faces and whispering to each other before she decided to catch up to Kekkaishi before he got too far ahead of her. This was certainly to be an interesting journey. What ever happened would just have to happen. She was slightly nervous, but mostly excited. A journey to get stronger with Kekkaishi was just the thing she would be able to look forward to. They would become the best in the village, no matter what.

Kikyo walked back into the village, this time on her own. Some of the villagers looked at her, only seeing the image she wanted them to see. To see her as her normal, human self with her mask covering the lower half of her face. Some of the villagers started whispering, wondering where Kekkaishi was. She ignored them, knowing they were proably accusing her of murder. She knew what happened, where he was (if he was still there), and that she felt bad for just leaving him the way she had. But what was done was done. If he was mad or hated her now, well then she deserved that. After all, she was the one who'd been reminding them of their promise to accomplish their goals side by side. She sighed. Kekkaishi wouldn't be the kind to hold a grudge over something like that, would he? No time to figure that out. She was on a mission of her own. There was a scroll that had her name on it, and n order to get it she'd have to break into the main Soshi clan's home. Or, more appropreitly, Kekkaishi's room. Yeah, this certainly was going to help her reputation of being some one who'd break the law if it meant getting what she wanted. Oh how much fun she'd have dealing with the elder's lecture on her behavior and the interrigation to find what she'd done with Kekkaishi. She goaned and headed straight for the Soshi cla's part of the village. She looked for the familiar small home that had been her and her father's before he died and left her on her own. She decided to pay it a quick visit and see how torn apart it was. Surprisingly she found it in good shape. She smiled. It deserved to last for a long time in her oppinion. After all, her mother and sister had been in that home before they had died years before her father's death. She went into her old room and dropped onto her old bed. She stared at the ceiling for a good amount of time, letting her thoughts wander for a bit before she drifted to sleep. When shewoke up, she decided to check and see if the water was still on in the house. She checked, and sure enough water ran from the faucets. She went into the bathrom and enjoyed a long shower before getting out and changing into clean clothes that she was sure she woud've out grown of since they were from the year before. She shrugged, just glad to hve clean clothes on now. Se started a load of laundry and hing around the house for a little bit, reading and enjoying the silence. As soon as all the clothes she'd brough with her back home were done drying, she packed them up and left the house, going back in the direction of the main home. She went around to the back where less people would be. She looked up the side of the house where she knew his room would be. She took a quick look over her shoulders to make sure no one was around and used the Air Walk to get up to his room's window. She took out a senbon needle from her jacket's sleeve and carved out a circle in the glass big enough for her to reach into. She unlatched the window and opened it carefully so no one would hear. She slipped into Kekkaishi's room and looked around. She started quietly search under items and then thought of some where he would hide things. KIkyo walked to his closet and reached for a box hidden in a place no one would think of looking. She opened the box and smiled when she saw the Light Cross scroll. She looked cautiosly around the room before snatching it up and hiding the box away. She slipped the scroll into her sleeve and slipped put the window, being sure to latch it back to closed and using her ice to seal the missing peice of glass into place so if it rained, no water would get in. She then jumped down and ran to the forest with her stolen prize. She'd have to rmember to return the scroll back to it's location as soon as possible. She got to the spot where she and Kekkaishi had first met and sat down. She took a deep breath to calm herself down and looked around once more, just to double check that no one had followed. She smiled under her mask and nodded when she sensed no one nearby. Kikyo opened the scroll and started reading through it, trying to find what was needed in order to accomplish the jutsu she wanted to learn. It seemed to be a difficult jutsu, but hopefully she could learn it quickly. The sooner she learned this the sooner her consious would shut up and quit bothering her with guilt. She read and reread the step required before standing up. She'd need some one to practice on, but she wasn't going to use it on one of the villagers. She gulped as she took out a kunia and held it near her wrist. She closed her eyes and started clearing her mind, calming herself and reminding herself this wasn't her committing suicide, just experimenting with what she'd learned.

After slicing her own wrist, Kikyo Soshi was still a little freaked out. But, thankfully, she had learned the light cross on her first try. She sighed in pure relief. It seemed she was the kind of person who gambled on some of the oddest things, like wether she'd live after cutting herself or not. Gambling... That reminded her of something she'd heard of a long time ago from her father. Dairiki knew all sorts of attacks, and there was one in particuar that he was proud of. It was something called Elemental Gamble. He was oddly lucky in most things, so doing this kind of attack was something he could count his life on. But... Well, in Kikyo's oppinion, luck must've skipped a generation for her. She had to be one of the unluckiest ninja in the whole village. As soon as she'd get out of one mess she'd be in two more problems. Such was her curse with luck. After al, how can some one born with heart problems and quick tempers considered lucky? If anything, it just set her up worse. But no time to worry about that now, despite how much she wanted to worry. She'd just have to give this jutsu a try. Or, at least, have a look at it and learn it that way. Just for expeirience and an ace in the hole if it came to that desperate of a fight. She considered trying Kekkaishi's house to see if he had the scroll with him, but she slowy doubted that as she thought more over it. It wasn't the best of jutsues to know, so the chances that his family, or any one for that matter, would risk hm getting himself seriously hurt by his own attack or even killed, were very slim. It had seemed like a good place at the time though, and she still needed to return his light cross scroll any ways. She wondered about Kekkaishi's father. Of course he'd have all of the scrolls of the Soshi clan since he was the head member, but stealing it from him wasn't going to be any where near as easy as it was for geting light cross from Kekkaishi's room. Kekkaishi used to make it easy for Kikyo to go into the house through his room in case she had one of those nights where she desperately needed to talk to him or just wanted to be around him. That was the best part of knowing Kekkaishi was that he was usually thoughtful, if not to everyone then at least Kikyo. She smiled a little under her mask, thinking about him. She really was starting to miss him, despite the short amount of time she'd been away from him. She wanted so badly to just hug him right now and t give him a sweet and passionate kiss.... But that would have to wait. She needed to focus. Kekkaishi's dad might have the Elemental Gamble scroll hidden away some where, but since she didn't take the time to know him well she wouldn't know where to find it. And even if she did know, it'd most likely be locked up some where, with plenty of people guarding it and a bunch of traps waiting for any one who might get too confident if they got past the guards. She needed to think this one out. If it wasn't with Kekkaishi, and there was no way in heaven, earth, or hell that she could take it from the head of the clan, then how would she learn that jutsu? She groaned in annoyance. If only Kekkaishi were with her. He could just go up to his father and ask for the scroll and get it almost instantly with a fair warning to be careful and not to take the power of it too lightly. If Kekkaishi were here.... Well, she could try to impersonate Kekkaishi... After all, she did know him pretty well. But, Kikyo knew that wasn't going to work. She'd probably be asked some sort of question that only Kekkaishi would know and get caught instantly. Besides that, if his father was anything like Kekkaishi, he'd be able to tell it wasn't really him by the slightest change in voice, attitude, and by the wrong scent of the flesh. How annoying. She was starting to wonder if that was where Kekkaishi had gotten that ability to identify her just by scent alone. She sighed and looked down. Ok, she'd just have to give up on the whole main house theft idea. No way that was going to work. But where else could she get a scroll to learn this one move. Kikyo thought it over for a while and face palmed when she came up with an idea. No ******** duh. She'd just been thinking about how good her father had always been at elemental gamble. She sighed in annoyance at her own stupidity for not comming to the conclusion that the scroll, or at least a copy of it, just might be at her old house. How stupid. And here she had been spending all this time trying to think of a plan to breaking into the main home. She really did want to slap herself right now, but she was already mentally beating herself up over this matter. She huffed and got up. Kikyo took a few steps forward before her stomach growled with the feirceness of a bear. She clamped her hands over her stomach and blushed while she bit her lip. She really hadn't thought about the fact that he hadn't eaten in a god amount of time and was probably slowly starving herself with all the distractions she had been having. Well, she was headed home any ways. She'd eat something as soon as she got there and then would start searching the house. She used air dash to get home quickly and walked in, looking over her shoulder whiledoing so; just an old habit of hers that may never die. She closed the door behind her and checked that all blinds were closed and that no one was in the house. She went to the kitchen and made some sugar cookies and sat down with the plate of them. KIkyo munched on them slowly, enjoying the taste since she hadn't eaten anything overly sugary since Kekkaishi had woken up from his accident. It was the one thing she could do in front of him that would keep him from worrying about her healthsince he always got on her case with her insane consumption of sugar. She finished her treat and looked around, trying to think of where her fathr would hide something. She thought for a minute. Dairiki wasn't the kind to hide stuff in his closet. He knew that was the first place she looked and would never hide it there, and she knew he wasn't going to hide it some where she would look but for some odd reason she still checked. But she wouldn't this time. She knew better. This wasn't one of her and her father's games. He'd have it hidden someplace no one would really think to look. She scanned the house and found one place that only he and her would think of hiding something. She went over to a large picture of the family before Kikyo's mother and twin died that was in a thick frame. She had thought it odd how overly large the frame seeded to be. It wasn't anything any one would really notice if you lokked straight on, but from the side you could see it was thick, almost like a box. She carefully took the picture down and said a quick prayer before opening the frame and carefully removing the picture. She smiled, seeing different scrolls and some random looking items that must've been family keep sakes from Oomizu and Dairiki's kids. In fact, she vaguely remembered one of the items in there being something she and Sayuri had made for him on his birthday long time ago. She smiled a little and bit back tears as she opened the elemental scroll and started memorizing what was written on the paper. She read that a die was needed as well to do the elemental gamble and loked around. She found one in the frame and picked it up. In the place of the 1 was his initals, carved very smally and carefully into place. She smiled and started crying a little as she held the die close to her, mourning his being gone for a little. She slipped the scroll and picture back into place and hung the frame back to where it had been. She'd have to remember to come bacl later and see what other scrolls were hidden there for her to learn.
((Elemental Gamble: Complete!))
PostPosted: Mon Dec 01, 2008 7:00 pm

Kikyo Soshi finished her little crying fest and made sure everything was back in place, but she decided that maybe there was another technique in the picture frame that she could learn. She took the frame down and opened it up, careful not to destroy any of the things inside. She searched through the scrolls carefully in order to know which one she wanted to learn next. She saw one that sounded pretty great. She rolled the scroll up that had the elemental gamble technique in it up and then placed it into the frame. She picked one up and nodded. Great awake. It sounded interesting. She looked throught the scroll and nodded. It sounded like a good idea to learn. A jutsu that would allow the user to replenish their chakara 4 times faster than they normally would. Sure, she had her food pills, but to use that too many times would cause dependancy or worse. That was a bad idea to just rely on those. That, and, it may help her sleep better at night. After all, she'd been having a hard time sleeping lately. It'd really help her. Sure, she'd have to be asleep to be able to use it, but if it worked then it worked. She took the scroll and tucked it into th sleeve of her jacket. She then carefully put the picture frame back into place with all the items where they belong. She hung it up on the wall and nodded. She then pulled her masks back over the bottom half of her mask and went to the door. She looked around to see if any one was around and smiled, glad no one was around. She slipped out of the house and locked the door so no one could go in. Kikyo ran to the forest as fast as she could. After a few minutes, she arrived back in the forest where she and Kekkaishi had first met. This was her old training spot and she always felt comfort training here. It was almost like her father, Dairiki, was watching over her training like he ised. She went to the middle of the area and sat down with her back againast a tree trunk. She opened the scroll and started scanning her eyes over the paper. This also seemed to be comming easily to her. It was strange how that seemed to be. She knew she didn't have sharingan since her mom hadn't had it. Oh well. Maybe one of her parents had had the ability to learn new moves quickly. She read over the scroll just a few more times. She stood up and stretched a little. She yawned a little and smiled. Well, it wouldn't be hard for her to learn this since she was already tired. She took a deep breathe and did the hand signs. She felt herself instantly tired and fell to the floor. Kikyo yawned and fell into a deep sleep. She dreamed of her family and Kekkaishi and even a little of the people of Kamakura. When she woke up several hours later, she blinked out of a daze. She sat up and shook her head a little and yawned. It seemed to have worked. She had all her chakara back now and she felt great. She smiled under her mask, but then realized that it was a bad idea. She would definately have to have some one there to watch her back if she were to do this juts durring a battle. She decided she'd try again, but just to see how long it would last. She did some excersizes that would get rid if her chakara almost completely and then used the jutsu again after marking the time. When she woke up again, she checked the time and saw that she had sept a long time. She trained some more to get rid of her chakara again to eliminate a little bit of chakara. She marked the time again and then used the Great Awake jutsu once again. This time she woke up earlier than last time. So it seemed the more chakara that you need to regenerate, the longer it would take to wake up. That seemed reasonable. After all, even with the 4 times amount of chakara you gained it would still take some time gain your chakara back. It was amazing how long this was taking her to learn this attack compared to the last jutsu she had learned. Oh well. She sighed and looked up at the sky. She missed her friend. She was starting to wonder where he was or if he'd ever come back? She shivered a little, wondering if he would ever speak to her again. KIkyo hugged her chest a little and sat down on the ground, rocking back and forth a little. She bit her lip and looked up, surprised to see it was dark out now. She stood up and picked her stuff up and ran home. As soon as she got home, she locked the door behind her and sat against the door. She sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly. She closed her eyes and started going into random thoughts, cauotically going on in her mind with the memories of being singled out and being alone and, mostly, of her family dieing. She opened her eyes quickly and panted a little, craddling her head between her legs again. She silently cried to herself, wishing Kekkeishi Soshi were by her side. When he was around she never had these thoughts, these painful memories that randomly appeared in her mind and haunt her. She balled her fist into such a tight ball that she could see the white of the bone in her knuckle. At this rate she'd end up driving herself insane or bring up memories that she'd been supressing for such a long time and have her back to her hateful nature towards all beings, and that may or may not include the only one she ever felt love for. She felt her chest ihten in agony and she clentched her teeth and choked back tears of pain. 'Damn it! Why now? Why when I'm alone? I hate this! I want to go back to Kaishi! But I can't. Not yet. I told him I'd learn the Soshi moves first. I have to do that for him. I can't let him down like I have everyone else...' She sighed and stood up, feeling her chest feel like it was in less pain. At least that seemed to help her mood a little. She went into the kitchen and made something simple and ate it quickly. She cleaned up when she was done and went back to the room with the picture of her family. She said a quick prayer before taking the picture down again and then carefully sliped it out of the frame and sat the scroll to the Great Awake jutsu back into the place it had been. She fingered some of the items in the box and smiled sadly at her new treasures. Her dad had kept these safe all these years, so now she would do so too. She hugged one item that was a doll her sister used to carry around with her, feeling at least some of the empty feeling she had right now go away. She silently thanked the gods no one was around to see her be so weak right now. She was ashamed of herself for that, but she knew that she would end up doing much worse with the way she was acting. She sighed, placing the doll carefully back into place and closing the frame after everything was put away. She hung the frame back into place and went outside. She looked around and jumped up onto the roof of the house and watched the moon, wondering if Kekkaishi was watching the moon right now too. She smiled a little at the thought that he could be doing the same thing as her right now. Something that seemed so... human. Human. The word rang in her mind. SHe remembered Lucy's words. 'Congradulations, you're now a human Kikyo Soshi.' A human. She smiled sadly a little. If only she was allowed to show that side to her village. But no one allowed her to. So for now it'd have to be her and Kekkaishi's little secret. That she could cry, laugh, bleed, love, just like any other human. Her and his secret. Just like the feelings they had for each other. She sighed now in fustration with herself, annoyed with the letter she'd left. One line that she couldn't say to him, let alone write on paper. She looked to the moon, hoping it'd be like her messager as she whispered ever so quietly the words "I love you Keishi" for him and closed her eyes, nodding into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Kikyo Soshi was in a deep sleep and had many dreams of past memories. For once, instead of her normal dreams that seemed like an endless personal hell of bad memories from her childhood, these were happy dreams. Pleasant dreams about her childhood. Something she hadn't thought was a possible word to use to describe her childhood. Kikyo had many thoughts about times she had either forgotten or almost completely blocked out due to the fact that she was trying to supress her bad memories. Most of them were random thoughts, some about the litle time she got to spend with her mother and some of the times she had played with her sister. But most of them were about her times with her father, and even more were about Kekkaishi. One memory that came to her mind that made her smile was the day they had met. It gave her a calm feeling with the thought of how they met, and the way the day had started. She was pretty sure she even felt her laugh a little in her sleep. Some thing she'd never done before. She smiled, thinking back on that day. It had started off kind of crappy, but then again she and her father Dairiki always woke up before the sun rose so it usually had her in a bad mood in the morning. He woke her up in his usual joking matter- by sticking one of his dirty socks in her face. She had awoken with a gag and fallen to the floor, cursing at him despite her young age. He fussed at er for the foul language and told her to get up and eat breakfast. He had made the usual onigiri for breakfast that had a mystery filling she still couldn't figure out to this day. They both started eating, and once they reached the center they both gagged and came close to barfing. She accused him of attemptive poisoning and he told her to "Shut up. If I had intended to poison you then why would I have eaten it myself." That was usually what he had to say about most of his cooking since he had no ability to cook. It was rare his cooking was ever edible, giving her the need to be able to know how to cook. Kikyo stuck her tongue out at her father and he put her in a head lock, beginning their everyday early morning sparring. They always started in the house, being sure to be careful so as not to break anything in the house. As they continued, their fighting continued out into the forest and into their normal training spot; a place where no one knew where they were. They had been fighting since dawn until around lunch time when her father tossed her into a mud puddle. She yelled at him a little and stomped off to the river to bathe. It was there that she and Kekkaishi had met. Looking back, she had to say it certainly was an interesting day full of shouting and accusations. After punching Kekkaishi in the face, she quickly threw on just her jacket and ran bacl in the direction of the training area and met up with Dairiki half way. Dairiki asked her what had happened, and when he saw it was Kekkaishi Kikyo had knocked out, she went into a panic and went between fussing at her to making sure he was still breathing. For a good amount of time after he had woken up, neither one really trusted each other, but by the end of the day Kikyo had finally made her first friend. Since then they were almost always together. He seemed to be the only one who could make her behave herself, even with the years of trying that her father had been spending. He was the only one she never hurt and was the only one she ever seemed to see eye to eye with. It was funny how doctors seemed to run in fear from her when ever she had to get basic check-ups and shots, but yet all Kekkaishi had to do was tell her not to move while he jabbed a needle into her arm. People flinched when they saw her comming their way, but Kekkaishi always laughed at her when she tried to act all tough and even had the guts to tease her on occasion. In fact, her favorite way he teased her were always the one that made her blush, and only she and he knew about that. He was the only one who she allowed to see her face that wasn't imediate family. She liked all the times she spent with him from the stupid things they'd done together to the times where they had just sat together and loked at the sky. She opened her eyes, looking up at the stars, smiling under her mask. 'Soon I'll be able to see him. Soon I'll be able to return to him and enjoy that teasing he used to do.'
