EDIT: The following takes place in an alternative time frame
Takeshi was glad to hear that Kishiyo would teach him his Katon jutsu, but he was even more satisfied with the fact that in the after, his mother would finally find peace. When one dies, their soul being content depends on the manner in which they are buried. One's honor is lost should they be buried in an unmarked grave, or not honored in some way. The better their funeral, the more honor that is brought upon the deceased. Now his mother would not live the afterlife in disgrace. She would at least die as an individual, not as some dishonorable scum. "Thank you, Kiyoshi. I could not help with my mother's depression, and my going away to the Academy only pushed her to... to kill her self," he stated bluntly. He could not think of an easier way to say it. "After all the suffering in her life, she deserves to die with honor. And I can think of no better way to do this, than for her to be remembered as who she really is, an Uchiha. The Sasaki name is not the most well known or honorable name the village has."
Takeshi's thoughts became clouded again as he wondered what would happen to himself. Now that his house had burned down, he had nowhere to live and no one to take him in. He didn't have anywhere enough money to buy his own house, so what was he to do? He could not live on the streets, for this was one of the most shameful and dishonorable acts on one's clan that one could do. He sighed again, knowing what he would have to do. But he put off the thought, he could deal with it later. It was just about morning, and he technically wouldn't be living on the streets until sundown. Takeshi grabbed his bed sheets and threw them off of his legs, turned to the side of the bed, and stood up. The pain was incredible, and the medication only took the edge off of it, but Takeshi managed to stay standing. After a slight moment of dealing with the pain, Takeshi turned to Kiyoshi and said, "Well, we're wasting daylight here, or at least I am. Let's get going." Takeshi took step after step towards, and after that, out the door and into the hall. Each step was excruciating, but it was technically it was not the pain from his muscles, but rather the stiffness of his body. In truth, the doctors had done a miraculous job of healing him, it was just his body's reaction to the rapid damage and healing that his body had undergone in the fire and at the hospital.
A young nurse saw Takeshi walking out of the hospital and rushed over to him. "Excuse me, but you have to go back to bed!" she said, genuinely concerned with his health. "Even at the rate you were healing at, you aren't due to even be walking around until tomorrow. You aren't supposed to be discharged until the day after tomorrow.
Takeshi looked at the nurse, with serious but not too harsh eyes. "I'm fine. Just give me enough medication to take the edge of the pain, and I can manage. Now if you'll excuse me," he said and continued to walk down the hall.
