Leeza tried to hold her ground but was soon thrown back herself. She quickly got up and came at the man again, with a vertical swipe this time.

The man easily blocked the blow and smirked. "Give up. You're no match for me." Jami quickly grabbed something off of the ground and gave the man a quick thrust, which was easily parried.

"We'll see." she growled leaping over him and trying to strike him from above or behind.

The man calmly blocked the blow, and Jami saw his chance. He used his saber to keep the man from attacking, and pointed a blaster at him at point blank range with his left hand. He squeezed the trigger, and the man fell, clutching his stomach.

Leeza approached the man her saber at side of his neck "Shall renagotiate?" She seemed to ask no one in particular.

The man cursed. "Dammit. I didn't think Jedi would do that." Jami smiled slightly. "I'm not a Jedi... yet." The man sighed. "Fine. Take my shuttle. And I'll stop the attacks." Jami nodded. "Good. Now, one last thing." He grabbed a stun stick and jabbed the man with it. The man fell limp. Jami then made the man hold the stick by the current, making him stunned until someone took the stick away.

"Better keep to your words.." Leeza warned as she left ahead of Jami.

Jami quietly put his saber away and followed Leeza. He walked calmly to the small shuttle and started to inspect it. "Let's see... standard controls, better speed, better armor, two chin turrets, three wing turrets, one manual wing turret, space for six... I think I like this thing." He whistled, and Deenine floated in. The droid came to rest beside a small power outlet, and it plugged itself into it. This way, Deenine could still act as the de facto astromech droid of the ship.

Leena sat down in the shuttle quietly. She closed her eyes in thought as Jami inspected the machine. She wondered what she should do when they got back to Coruscant. She did indeed admire Jami's boldness, and somewhat reckless fighting. Something she would have pulled for certain. Even if most jedi didn't like it. He had skills, yes, but could she handle it? She wasn't even a knight. Even if she wanted, they probably wouldn't allow it...

Jami flipped a few switches, and the shuttle began to hum. "Perfect." He turned to face Leeza. "If you're ready we can... is something wrong?" ((I have to eat, I'll be back in a little while.))

"Huh?" She opened her eyes to look at him "Everything is fine Jami." She said reassuringly. "I'm quite ready." she smiled a moment and let it fade. Again, she wasn't a smiling person. She would definately have to see the council soon, she thought.

Jami nodded, though he wasn't convinced. He started up the engine and eased back on the control stick. "All right, hang on." The ship slowly ascended into the upper atmosphere, and finally the sparkling vacuum of space.

Leena sighed taking out her cards and going through them, she finished as alwys on the black ace. She played with it idoly, bringing it into and out between each finger around her hand.

Jami hummed a soft tune to himself as he flipped switches. He glanced out the viewport, and thankfully saw no raiders. Smiling, he flipped the hyperdrive and headed for Coruscant. ((Continue in the Jedi Temple?))
