Garret Erikson "But I'm a super..." He told her. "We're in the Alliance of Supers HQ. You know...Alliance....Supers...not you." He said, telling her like she was stupid. "Why are you here anyway...?" He asked, narrowing his eyes, even though it didnt matter cause he didnt live here. "I'm with the AA, alliance of supers and humans. These folks kill both....and if I'm going down, you're going down with me." She grinned. "I'm here to get information, and to cause trouble. How about you?"

"I wanna test out a few new powers on some innocent civilians...but I dont wanna get killed so I wanted someone to watch my back." He said matter-of-factly. "I wont tell if you wont."

"How about testing some of those powers on guards to the second basement? The ones guarding the control center?"

Lucidity thought about it for a second. "Alright...I guess since its new, they wont be able to trace the marks to me..." he mumbled. "Oh..sorry bout those pictures..."

"Something I need to shoot you over?" She asked with a slight scowl. She shrugged and moved on. "We'll worry about it later." She passed the first basement level and then moved to the next. "There's about five guards on the other side of that hallway, still want to play?"

Minerva chuckled, "I doubt either of us would enjoy getting to know the other better. No offense, Lucid, but I'd rather take a bullet." She then grabbed his arm and pushed him out in front of the hallway, in line of sight with the five guards....using him like a decoy as she started firing.

Bullets whizzed past him as he spun around. "Thanks...b***h..." He muttered. He turned to face the guards and sent an orb of null-matter at one.

((Oh yeah...forgot about all thats...the phoenix battle is spoiling me. Um...let's give em about 20 each.))
"You're welcome" Minerva paused in her shooting to toss a small gass bomb into the group of guards. It wouldn't knock them out, but it would definitley slow them down a bit.
The nullblast from Lucid caught one guard in the gut as he screamed about the whole being eaten away from his middle.
"Didn't you used to be a fire super?" Minerva asked, as she picked off the burning guard with her silenced gun.

"Yeah, remind me to tell you the story some time. " He replied. He sent another blast of null-matter at a guard before sped towards the guards and slashed at a different one with his switchblade.
[that was me passive speed...and 1 mpa + weapon attack on someone else...so:]

"I'll do that." Minerva said, as she took a shot at the guard he had just null-mattered. She didn't care for the screaming as their bodies were being eaten away.
The last three guards took action, the haze of the happy gas (as min called it), wearing out. They aimed at both Min and Lucid, each of them sending out a blast of energy from their fists. The one who was getting stabbed sent fire, towards Lucid, the other two sent Ice and a green glowy stuff at Min.
