"Well Papi kept me in his house because I had trouble controling my powers and was considered a danger to everyone around me..." Jade said while looking back at the sky and blushing at his comment on saying she was pretty.

"That's a twist. When I was young, I was considered weak. But then again, I was a half-blood surrounded by full-fledged dragons."

"Hmph, tell that to Gage. To think that I came here to be rid of oppression for a while and instead find a dragonlord as an enemy." Skyeheart leaned against the side of the warf pole.

"The problem is, he's not just any pureblood. He's a dragonlord, a king among dragons. His powers could very well match my own king, Lord Bahamut." He then looked at Jade. "You're a pure blood right? You probably wouldn't understand my problem."

"Dragonlord is just a title not a description of the person. Besides I've been around for a while and well I don't listen to any kings." Jade said while looking at him frowning a bit and casting her gaze twrods the water, "You'r right I am a pur blood and I don't understand, but just becuase of my blood dosn't mean that I wouldn't understand."

Skyeheart gazed at the water too. "Back in Draconia, many dragons used to think that they were the mightest race. Gifted with longevity, adaptability, wisdom and strength, they considered themselves guardians of the world. That's why whenever half-blood appeared, they would think very poorly of it. To them, half-bloods meant dragons who had tainted blood and limited abilities in their lore. For a long time...I believed those terms too."

Suzumi scoffed, "Think their gaurdian's of the world yeah right, no one can gaurdian a world unless they find that everyone in it pure-blood or half-blood are equal. If they can't do that then all their doing is living in a fantacy land."

"Not quite the words I'd put it in, but my Lord Bahamut thought something quite similar.
Because of him and his queen Lady Tiamat, I no longer feel limited."

Jade puts up a small ice sheild around them by holding her hand out to keep them from getting wet. Once the water died down she said, "You'r Lord and Queen sound both wise and very kind."

"Despite their influence, I still had to leave." Skyeheart fished in his rucksack for a treat. "Humans are very stubborn to change, so try thinking how stubborn a dragon, with lifespans a millionfold greater, would be."

Skyeheart pulled out a few small candies and popped one into his jaws. Once again, he had reached a dead end for conversation.
