"I wonder how Flannery is doing..." Mike said to himself as he gazed out the window. It had only been around a day since he left Lavaridge, but it was like he hadn't seen her in weeks. "I'll make sure to give her a call sometime." He chirped, removing himself from the couch. The PC in the corner caught his eye, he had seen one in every Pokemon Center he had visited, but never bothered using one for anything besides transferring his fighters. "Maybe I can find out more information on my Pokemon." Mike approached the computer, inputting his personal Trainer ID and password.
A drop down menu on the left of the screen displayed many buttons, one of which being 'Online PokeDex'. He clicked that one, a search option screen loaded up. He could seach by type, or input their specific spieces, or by number. "Let's try Nitro." He said cheerfully, typing 'Charizard in the query box.
A rather extensive page of information popped up, detailing everything from standard height, to a large list of compatible TMs and HMs. After the boy had surveyed all the attacks, he moved to base statistics, a frown coming across his face as he spied Charizard's less than stellar Defense stat. "At least I can't complain about his other stats." Mike scrolled down the list of moves, noting the small remainder of choices. "Wow," He said, quite impressed. "He's only got two more moves to learn!" The boy smiled, his Pokemon was something alright.
Following his research on Nitro's basic information, he soon searched the remainder of his team, Portabello, Beacon, Xanthos, Felsic, Napalm, Titanium, Proton and Shiver. While looking at each profile, he jotted down a few notes concerning TMs some of his Pokemon could learn, including some exclusive attacks that could only be taught by Move Tutors. "That should do it!" He placed the notepad in his backpack, returning to the online PokeDex. For a good half an hour, Mike surfed the list in numerical order, looking up nearly every Pokemon be found interesting. A few in particular caught his eye, Omanyte, Cacturne and Kecleon. Mike could almost feel tears welling up when he found that the Rock/Water Pokemon was extinct, and only a few have been dug up and restored. The other two however, he was familiar with, as they were both from his home region of Hoenn. Kecleon in particular, he saw those hanging out by Winona's Gym alot, at one point they practically infested Fortree. As for Cacturne, he was reminded of Sasha's Cacnea, Prickles was it? Its evolved form showed some real firepower, something he'd have to look into more in depth later.

Nurse Joy walked out, carrying two trays of Pokeballs in similar fashion to a waitress. "Mike, Joey, your Pokemon are all ready."
Logging out of the PC, Mike walked over, thankfully accepting his Pokemon, clipping them into their respective slots on his strap. Joey nearly snatched his away, paying special attention to Poliwarth's. "Thank you miss." He spoke softly, running out of the Pokemom Center.
The older boy looked at the Nurse, shrugging his shoulders. "Kids these days." He thanked her once again, exiting the hospital. He saw Joey, who stood as tall as he could, watching the waves crash in the distance. As he heard the electronic doors close, he turned to face Mike, his expression changed to that of a determined young man.
"Mike," he started, arms readily at his sides. "I'm going to continue my training. I'm going to figure all of this out, and one day challenge you to another match." Joey looked stern, disciplined, respectable. Mike nodded, extending an open hand.
"I'll be ready." He said with a smile, this boy might just have it in him to be something special. Joey held out his own hand, grasping it tightly.
"Until then, farewell." The youngster released his grip, and the two parted ways.

As he watched his friend leave, Mike suddenly felt a little lonesome. Unclipping an Ultra Ball, he released his Breloom. The Pokemon let out a quiet yawn, rising quickly. He looked at his new surroundings, bowing respectively to his trainer. Greetings master. He mentally spoke, showing the same grace and civility he always did.
Mike decided to not challenge the Pokemon's misaddressing , he was the master, like it or not. There was no changing the Breloom's mind once he had made a decision. "Hey Portabello," The 'master' said, happy to see him again. "enjoy your rest?" Mike nodded to the side, and the two began to walk north, deeper into town.
Oh yes. He nodded, a small plume of pollen shaking itself free from his mushroom cap. Anything noteworthy happen while I slept? He chirped, the air smelled sweet by the sea. Unlike Nitro, Portabello actually enjoyed the water.
"Quite a bit actually." He placed a hand to his chin, recalling all the events that had happened in the short time the Breloom had retired. "First off, I traveled into Mt. Moon to do some training with Napalm, but that ended when some little brat decided it was cool to make fun of Beacon, so I showed her a thing or two." Portabello frowned, not enjoying the thought of anyone talking down to his comrades. "After that, I did some training with Felsic and Xanthos, and met a kid named Nicholas. He was a really good trainer, and almost beat me, but I somehow managed to win." He stepped over a broken piece of fencing, and continued his story. "I met up with Nina, who had Whitney with her. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened there, same old stuff." He lied, still a little embarrassed at the pink haired vixen and her compulsive displays of affection. "I met up with Kasiya, started traveling with her, battled a few trainers, Felsic evolved, and just finished up helping a young boy find his place in the world." He let out a short break, the last part of the tale being said in one breath.
The Fighting Pokemon took a moment to process things, swaying his head from side to side as he thought. Little Felsic evolved? He said after a moment of contemplation. I would very much like to see what he can do in battle now. Portabello sighed, feeling the same nostalgia as his master. Everyone seems to be growing up, don't they?
"Yup." The boy said simply, looking at a sign ahead of him. "Hey look, a zoo!" His face lit up, he always loved going to these types of things. "I wonder what kind of Pokemon they have here!" After his recent research in the Pokemon Center, he wanted to see some of Kanto's Pokemon in the flesh, pictures never do anything justice.
What's an azoo master? The mushroom Pokemon scratched his head with his seed riddled tail. Are you referring to Nina's Pokemon Cupcake? Portabello still found human concepts difficult, wondering why so many things were associated with one word.

"Unbelievable!" Kasiya exclaimed, watching with amazement as the Doduo sidestepped every rock that came down towards it. Both pairs of eyes watched in separate directions, yet the body moved as one. She felt a newfound respect blooming for the Doduo line even as it took position atop one of the rocks it had avoided, and stared down at Adamantine with piercing gazes.
"Tri Attack!" Jimmie commanded, looking cheerful now that his Pokemon had managed to escape harm from Ada's powerful Rock Slide. The bird reared back, both heads bobbling in unison as a light appeared between them. It lunged forward, and a tri-coloured beam rocketed forth, striking the young Larvitar with deadly precision.
"Ada!" Kasiya cried fearfully as her Pokemon vanished in an explosion of light. It faded, and Adamantine shivered, pulling herself to her feet. She looked all right to continue, except for the frost that had started to form at her feet. Puzzled, the Larvitar looked down as a creaking sound started, and almost instantly, the rocky Pokemon's body became incased in solid ice, the look of confusion frozen on Adamantine's face.

12 year old Train, a girl with blond hair, cat-yellow eyes, and white skin, and her Pikachu stepped into Virdian City for the first time. She looked around, wondering where she should go first. She picked the pokemon center, to rest her Pikachu after the small first journey. Train let Nurse Joy take her Pikachu, and she waited in an empty seat, looking at her empty phone list on her PokeNav. I've got a lot of spaces to fill up! she thought, and wondered when she would meet someone new who would be her friend.

Upon hearing Surge's coment he blinked slightly confused. "You kow my mom?" He paused. "Ok thats not much of a surprise seeing as everyone seems to know her." He sighed and trailed a hand through his hair. "Sorry if I dont really remember you all that well." He said somewhat embarised over that. After all the Liuetenant wasn't someone that you would forget easily. Looking up at the taller gym leader he spotted the Raichu who looked really tired. "Umm is he going to be ok? I can always have Apollo take him to the pokemon center." He said motioning to the flaming pony behind him. Besides Meowth needed to get healed as well. Damn that was a crappy post....

"Here's your pokemon back, miss." Nurse Joy said to Train. Train stood up and took her Pikachu back from Nurse Joy, nodding thanks. Then, her Pikachu on her shoulder, she walked out of the pokemon center and back to the grass.
She heard a movement nearby in the grass, and saw a Ratata, half hidden.Perfect!, she thought, This can be my first catch! Immediatly she said, "Pikachu, thundershock!"
"Pika-chu!" Pikachu sent a stream of electricty to the Ratata. The Ratata, taken by suprise, fell over almost as soon as the thundershock hit it. But it was only weakened, not down for the count. The Ratata launched itself at Pikachu and gripped Pikachu's arm between it's teeth with a bite attack.
"Pikachu, another thundershock, quick!" Train said, and Pikachu let another bolt of electricity loose, knocking the Ratata off. The Ratata didn't get back up, and Train knew it had fainted.
She threw a pokeball and watched the Ratata dissapear inside. She watched the ball roll a bit, hoping it would lock.

"I forgot Tri Attack could do that," Kasiya sighed, tapping her chin with her finger. "Well, I guess Ada's done for now. Hey Hiro, wanna lend me your paw?"
Hiro, who'd been watching the battle patiently jumped up, his large, bushy tail wagging excitedly. Kasiya smiled at the Arcanine's puppy-like antics, and patted his leg. "Do you think you could move Ada for me? Since she's so big now. And, I was thinking that your fiery goodness could thaw her out." Hiro looked at the block of ice containing the Larvitar, and nodded. He strolled over to her, sniffing at the ice intently. He shrugged, and used his massive paw to push her away from the battlefield, where he lied down beside her, occasionally using a small Ember in order to help thaw the rocky little Pokemon out.
"Shall we continue?" Jimmie asked, when they were sure Ada would recover from her frozen status.
"You bet," Kasiya grinned, tossing her next Pokeball up and down in anticipation. All bets were off now; since Doduo had overcome its disadvantage to Ada, Kasiya wanted to see how well it could handle what she'd throw at it next. In a flash of light, a lean and limber Jolteon looked up at the wingless bird, and grinned.

"No you silly shroom," Mike giggled at his Breloom's naivety, leaning on a nearby bar overlooking a Tauros. "A zoo is where people display Pokemon, usually rare and unique species so others can look and see how cool they are!" He watched Portabello compute with a smile. Thinking about it, the Pokemon looked up at his trainer with an almost downtrodden expression.
Would people like to look at me master? Am I unique? He fidgeted anxiously, feeling a sudden attack of self consciousness.
Mike grinned, looking back over the exhibit. "You'd take first place Portabello. I'm sure of it." The Breloom chirped blissfully, hopping in place at his renewal of confidence.
Something caught Mike's attention, one of the stands a dozen or so meters to the left. He made his way over to the cage, letting out an astonished gasp. It was an Omanyte! "Eek!" A squeal of pure joy escaped him, as he clasped his hands together. "I think I'm in love, it's so cute!" He swooned, rocking back and forth.
"You've got quite the taste in Pokemon kid." A voice from beside him said. The lovesick boy turned around, noting his pearly white lab coat. A man dressed in scientist garbs greeted him. "My name is Dr. Mitchell, I restored that Omanyte from a Helix fossil I found in Hoenn."
Mike perked up at the mention of fossils in his home. "Really? There are Omanyte fossils in my region?" He was too thrilled, stepping closer to the man.
Portabello leaned over the bars, taking a closer look at the shellfish. The little fossil Pokemon inched forward, its stubby tentacles seemed to dance over the grass. It was small, just recently born. You are cute aren't you? The Breloom smiled, reaching out to pet it. Omanyte scuttled back quickly, firing a burst of ink right in Portabello's left eye, withdrawing into its shell.
The Grass Pokemon yelped, faltering backwards and flipping rump over tea kettle onto the ground, landing with a painful 'thud'. He rubbed his eye, glaring at the fossil. "You cheeky little-!" He said through grit teeth.
"So where can I find them?" Mike felt like a kid in a candy store, prying Mitchell with questions. He was ecstatic how things were working out. After all, he just learned about how rare they were ten minutes ago and now found out he could have one.

"Yes!" Train cried happily, picking up her Pikachu in a swift motion and hugging it. She was so happy she tossed him into the air and caught him again. Pika!" Pikachu said happily at his trainers delight. Then she walked over and picked up the pokeball, letting it shrink and clipping it onto her belt, next to the five other empty pokeballs.
(Oh, sorry, I'll be sure to ask next time ^^; )

EDITED! It had been a long day for Violet. When she had woken up it had been from a phone call from the printers office telling her that the fliers she had ordered were done. After a quick breakfast she had made her way over to the printers and after thanking them, she had paid in advance, she left the building. Her fliers that she had ordered were advertisements for the beach party she was throwing. The posters themselves were fairly simple. They had an old picture of Violet when she had been on the beach with some friends. On the bottom was the information on where it was being held. Slateport and on the first of July. It also mentioned that there would be activities like a race where you could win prizes.
With a smile she let out her Salamance. "We have a long flight ahead of us, are you ready for it?" The Salamance only roared in response. That being said they took off flying over every town and dropping some of the many fliers off. It was much later that they returned from Hoenn, there last stop, and both of them were exausted. Breathing a sigh of relief Violet decided that her weary Salamance needed a bath for all of his hard work and they headed off to the lake in the researve to do just that. ((There for anyone who has not recieved an invitation there you go.))

As Train was heading over to the Pokemon Center to get her Pikachu and bew Ratata healed, a flyer landed right on top of her head. "Ah! Get it off!" She cried. And the it fell into her hands. She read it, seeing it was an advertisment for a beach party. "Cool!" she said aloud, and then she saw it was in Slateport. "That's really far away! I'll never make it!" She said, and sighed. "Oh well, I can have fun here, too!" Then she walked into the Pokemon Center and let Nurse Joy take Ratata's pokeball and Pikachu, and sat down to wait once again.

"Well, I need to find out information about Giovanni, a Gym Leader and head of Team Rocket over in Kanto," Nina replied. "He... well, one of his flunkies tried to get me shot, but my sister shoved me out of the way, and--"
Raimundo's expression changed from happy to forlorn in the matter of a split-second. "Oh, jeez, Nina," he said, "I'm really sorry about that... Wait. Your sister didn't happen to be Sabrina from Saffron, did it? Wasn't she travelling with you that one time?" The girl nodded. "Yeah, she was. And, I was... elected, I guess you could say, to be the new Gym Leader over in Saffron. I've only had a couple battles so far, where my friends have challenged me, and I lost... to both of them. But, that's not important." She cracked a little smile. "What I want is to see what I can find out about that man. I want to try to get back at him somehow."
"Get back at him?" Raimundo repeated. "You weren't planning on like... you know. Killing him?" He whispered the last part of his sentence. The girl shook her head and chuckled a little bit. "Oh, no no. I'd never be able to do that kind of thing to a person." She seemed to be getting better at this lying game, although she felt a pang of remorse for having lied to this boy twice in all of two or three minutes. Raimundo smiled, and nodded his head a little. "All right. Just making sure."
Nina watched as he logged on to an undisclosed website, and downloaded some complex type of hacking program. Due to the high speed that the Interned had, it took only a minute or two to download the entire program. She grinned as Raimundo explained that the program would be erased from the computer after it had been shut down, which was good because there would be no evidence that it had ever been on the computer. Moving a stray hair out of her face, Nina watched the program open-- it was far too complicated for her to even try to make sense of it.
"Err, all right. Could you get into the computer files at the Viridian City Gym for me?" Her friend nodded, and input a bit of information, before a list of several hundred files displayed on the screen. Raimundo and Nina's eyes grew at the massive amount of data that sat before them.

"I don't expect you to remember me, Dante," the leader laughed heartily, glad he could now put a name to the challenger. "You were only a tiny baby the last time I saw you." At the mentioning of his condition, Raichu straightened up and scoffed, letting Dante know he was fine. "He'll be all right," Surge nodded at the hardy rodent. "He's a fast healer."
"Here you are, Sir," another member of the gym came up to them just then, holding out a goldenrod-coloured box for the leader.
"That's LIEUTENANT!" Surge barked, causing the young man to stumble back in fright. He uttered a muffled apology and scurried away. Surge shook his head and sighed before he handed Dante a gleaming Thunder Badge - the second he'd given out that day - as well as some prize money and a gold TM containing Shock Wave.
Hay Melph! Your posts are not crap, now stop saying that or Apollo will never, ever, ever evolve! Don't make me de-level him!! D=<
