Kaori said in a very assertive voice nothing like the sweet innocent voice that was known from before "We have a problem, Bert is gone with that witch, Arisa is down and, we still have a monster to take care of today that you predicted will attack. What are we going to do." she asked frustrated Damn i told him i would protect him but it is because of me that he was fooled into that trap.....god i am stupid she thought blaming her self for everything

Bert was feeling weak as a needle struck his shoulde and he went out cold. More figures came, surrounded Bert... and dissappeared with him. It almost looked as if Bert was never even there.

"I just felt a sudden burst of energy, it felt like teleportation, I think I can track it down." Dart said his sight related sences coming back.

"....what" she said stuperfied "we have a choice to make, we can either follow after him or we can stay here with arisa, Both are unpredictable, and both deal with someone we love. What do we do, Arisa's elements could go crazy again or that dark thing you predicted could get her, but on the other hand Bert isnt exactly in a safe spot we need to be able to be in two places at once, or leave one place unattended." she said dryly hoping and praying that Bert was ok.

Bert was struggling to get free of the witche's minions. He was paralysed from poison but was capable of breathing. The only thing he could do was send a message to Kaori because her... opinion of him made her easier for his mind to access. He sent a simple message at first due to his fear KAORI! HELP ME!. His thought was detected and Bert was punished by being whipped in the back with a cat-of-nine-tails (A barbed whip with nine lashes) so the pain Bert received would also be received by the receiver.
The assasin who struck him said "Go ahead and call her. Let's see if you could escape us this time with her help, I would love to see what the witch would do to her." The psychic laughed as Bert was lead into an underground tunnel. He sent a message to Kaori of his wherabouts without detection this time.

"I found him, I think it would be best if I do a duplication spell before we go, you don't mind do you, doesn't matter, I'm not letting either of them stay in danger, and Arisa needs to be cared for...Ashikagigon!" Dart yelled out the end of the verbal spell.
Dart saw the guard with the whip and quickly punched him in the stomach and put his right arm all the way around his neck, the position of Dart's body would make it so all the guard could see was the floor.

Bert was still paralysed from the poison. He would have moved if he was able to. One of the guards picked Bert up and ran off, he turned a corner and dissappered without the help of magic.

"Hehehe, Don't worry Kaori, I lodged a scale in Bert, I don't think it'd have the same reaction I got when I touched the scale, but I can track it." Dart said showing his hand which was scaly, but going back to its normal color.

"AGGGHhhh!!, Kaori yelled accidently giving away there position and doubling over in pain "sorry... i just got a message from bert and it felt like i was just whipped in the back a whole bunch of times, c'mon they now know that we are here, we need to find him" she said running into the room where bert told her he would be "darn he is gone, they knew we were coming!!" she said slamming her hands into the bed and there is no magic trail to follow this time they got away without magic" she said depressed

Bert was eventually lead underground. The assasin who carried him had Bert thown into a cell. The assasin turned towards Bert saying "You were a fool to ever think a telepath with your supposed talent could ever leave here." the assasin chuckled. Bert was trying to send another message to Kaori but he suffered a migrane strong enough to break his concentration.
To his terror the witch looked into his cell saying "Now now dear don't be a naughty bot again. I tell you what, if be good and kill for me without question I'll have her brought to you." The witch gave an evil smile which made Bert very uncomfortable. He knew that the witch would keep her end of the bargain but not in a way that would either Bert or Kaori could want.
Arisa's well being also filled his mind, what if because of him Arisa would be irrevocably corrupted and had to be destroyed. Also, if Kaori and Dart came to his rescue they might die by the hands of the witch and her minions. In all the commotion in his head Bert was getting more scared and feeling more helpless by the second.

"The calvery has arrived!" Dart said barging into the room hidden behind the secret wall they took to get to the room.
"Bert calm down, Arisa is with our clones, she's safe, I'd let you die before her." Dart joked although he was in the middle of the enemy of his friend. Quickly Dart distracted them with a smokescreen, then began to jugle, hoping that those moronic guards would be entertained.

"Dart what on earth are you doing?" she asked looking at him puzzled "i just got a very faint message from bert he is deep underground, you can't just blast through the wall and expect him to be there, she said walking into the room and stared at dart "THATS NOT THE REAL BERT!!!" she said jumping back as it began to attack "it is like a robot"

Thankfully it was not an antimagic zone as the golem (the general fantsy equivalent of a robat) lunged forward at Dart. Even though Kaori was closer, Dart seemed to be considered the biger threat. It's hands retreated into it's arms and two blades popped out instead.

"dart!! Look out" Kaori yelled "Apperently it wants to fight you so can you take them on and i can continue to look for bert?" she asked, noticing that a couple more golem things were on their way
